Abstract

A removable, low voltage or battery powered device for insertion into a solid fuel stove provides the illusion of burning fuel when, mainly during the summer months, heat from the stove is not required and the stove is not lit. Claims (13)

1. In einen Festbrennstoff-Ofen einzusetzende Vorrichtung für die Simulati­ on von brennendem Brennstoff, wobei die Vorrichtung ein Gehäuse (10) umfaßt sowie eine an dem Gehäuse (10) angebrachte simulierte Brennstoff­ schicht (12), die zumindest teilweise lichtdurchlässig ist, eine Lichtquelle (14) zum Beleuchten der Brennstoffschicht (12) und zwischen der Licht­ quelle (14) und der Brennstoffschicht (12) angebrachte Mittel (16) zur intermittierenden Unterbrechung des Lichts der Lichtquelle (14), um dadurch einen Effekt leuchtender Glut zu schaffen, dadurch gekennzeich­ net, daß die genannte Lichtquelle (14) bei einer Spannung von nicht mehr als ungefähr 24 V, vorzugsweise 12 V, betrieben wird.1.
