Mit diesem hervorstehenden Papierende wird der Winkel bis zum dritten Theil in die Hülse a geschoben' und hierauf der Transporteur b entgegengeschoben. Dieser erfafst den Wickel und hierauf schiebt man mittelst des Knopfes c den Wickel dem anderen Ende entgegen. Zeigt sich auf dieser Seite das leere Papier, so erfafst man dasselbe mit zwei Fingern der einen Hand, während man mit der anderen Hand Hülse und Wickel hält, und entfernt das Papier zwischen Hülse und Wickel, um letzteren vor unzeitigem Austrocknen zu bewahren. Das Papier darf nicht die eigentliche Länge des Wickels haben, auch nicht mehrere Male um den Wickel geschlagen sein; an der Länge können vielmehr ca. 25 mm fehlen, da hierdurch das Abziehen des Wickels erleichtert wird. Das Kopfende des Wickels ist in derselben Füllung zu halten, wie der Abschnitt.
