Table 2 shows the composition of agents that contain a bait} they were reproduced
produced in the following way: The ingredients were processed together in the hammer mill, the mixture being in the form of a stiff paste by adding water. The paste was then extruded <and crushed into granules, which were then sieved at 7O 0 C and dried to a particle size from 0.25 to 1.65 mm.

1. Orale Versuche 1. Oral attempts
A press compound with 2 1/2 # active ingredient was prepared by dissolving a fixed weight of the test compound in acetone, mixing this solution with the appropriate amount of ground bran and allowing the acetone to evaporate. 0.5 g of this preparation were over a moist filter paper spread out and placed in a Petri dish, in the 4 snails (A.reticulatus) were used. After 24 hours, the snails were transferred to a clean Petri dish and the moist filter paper and fresh lettuce leaves, and after 48 hours, the dead animals were counted.
(b) 0.05 g of a 2.5% preparation according to (a) was placed on a small hollow slide on a moist filter in a Petri dish. 5 adult snails of the species A. reticulatus were then placed in the Petri dish and left in it at 10 ° C. for 24 hours. Two parallel tests were carried out for each of the connections to be tested. After the 24 hours had elapsed, the snails were transferred into pure shells, each of which contained a disc cut from a cabbage leaf with a diameter of 2.5 cm. The dead animals were counted every 24 hours for 6 days.
2. Kontaktversuche 2. Attempts to contact
The contact effectiveness of some of the compounds to be tested was examined by adding a solution of the active ingredient so "" ·. ..'__ J was sprayed over a damp surface of mud that a concentration of 2 kg of active ingredient per hectare resulted. Snails (A * reticulatus) put on and left there for 24 hours. For recovery, they were fed fresh lettuce as under (a) above.

I1Ur jede der zu prüfenden Verbindungen wurden TO Schnecken (A. reticulatus) verwendet.
