Abstract

Versteifungsanordnung für den menschlichen Kniegelenkbereich, umfassend
– einen Tibiaschaft (13)
– einen Femurschaft (14)
– ein tibiaseitiges Verbindungsteil (2)
– ein femurseitiges Verbindungsteil (1)
– eine Verschraubung (Schraube 11) zwischen tibiaseitigem Verbindungsteil (2) und Tibiaschaft (13)
– eine Verschraubung (Schraube 12) zwischen femurseitigem Verbindungsteil (1) und Femurschaft (14) sowie
– eine schräg verlaufende, die Verbindungsteile (1, 2) verbindende Verschraubung (Schraube 34).

Description

  • Die Erfindung richtet sich auf eine Versteifungsanordnung für ein menschliches Kniegelenk.
  • Eine derartige Versteifungsanordnung ist indiziert, wenn im Bereich des Kniegelenks das Einsetzen einer Kniegelenkprothese nicht oder nicht mehr möglich ist, weil Muskeln und Bänder nicht mehr vorhanden sind, eine Prothese nicht mehr haltbar zu befestigen ist oder z.B. aufgrund einer Minenexplosion große Teile des Kniebereichs ganz fehlen.
  • Aus DE 197 22 389 A1 ist eine Versteifungsanordnung für den menschlichen Kniegelenkbereich bekannt, welche einen Tibiaschaft, einen Femurschaft, ein tibiaseitiges Verbindungsteil, ein femurseitiges Verbindungsteil, eine Verschraubung zwischen tibiaseitigem Verbindungsteil und Tibiaschaft sowie eine Verschraubung zwischen femurseitigem Verbindungsteil und Femurschaft umfasst.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine solche Versteifungsanordnung so auszugestalten, daß sie einfach implantierbar ist und im implantierten Zustand fest sitzt sowie eine zuverlässige, belastbare Verbindung herstellt.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Versteifungsanordnung einen Tibiaschaft, einen Femurschaft, ein tibiaseitiges Verbindungsteil, ein femurseitiges Verbindungsteil, eine Verschraubung zwischen tibiaseitigem Verbindungsteil und Tibiaschaft, eine Verschraubung zwischen femurseitigem Verbindungsteil und Femurschaft sowie eine schräg verlaufende, die Verbindungsteile verbindende Verschraubung umfaßt.
  • Durch diese Ausgestaltung wird eine hohe Belastbarkeit und eine zuverlässige Verbindung erreicht.
  • In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, daß die Verbindungsteile form- und preßschlüssig miteinander verbunden sind, und zwar insbesondere einerseits abschnittsweise über plane Stirnflächen und andererseits über formschlüssig aneinander anliegende Kurvenabschnitte.
  • Diese sind günstigerweise so ausgebildet, daß der eine Kurvenabschnitt konkav geformt ist und Begrenzungslinien aufweist, die kreisabschnittförmig, konzentrisch zu einem Mittelpunkt verlaufen, und daß der zweite Kurvenabschnitt kreisabschnittförmige, konzentrisch zu dem Schwenkmittelpunkt verlaufende Begrenzungslinien aufweist.

  • Nachfolgend wird die Erfindung anhand bevorzugter Ausführungsbeispiele in Verbindung mit der Zeichnung näher beschrieben. Dabei zeigen:
  • 1 eine teilweise aufgebrochene Seitenansicht einer erfindungsgemäßen Versteifungsanordnung,
  • 2 eine Aufsicht,
  • 3 bis 6 die beiden Teile der Versteifungsanordnung in unterschiedlichen Winkelstellungen zueinander und
  • 7 bis 9 vergrößert herausgezeichnet das Ineinandergreifen der Verbindungsteile in verschiedenen Winkelpositionen.
  • Eine in der Zeichnung dargestellte Versteifungsanordnung umfaßt zwei Verbindungsteile 1, 2, welche in gestrecktem, verbundenen Zustand einer seits über ebene Stirnflächen 3, 4 und andererseits über Kurvenabschnitte 5, 6 form- und preßschlüssig aneinander anliegen.
  • Jedes Verbindungsteil 1, 2 weist eine Bohrung 7, 8 mit einem verbreiterten Abschnitt 9, 10 zur versenkten Aufnahme eines Schraubenkopfes bzw. zum Durchführen einer Schraube 11, 12 auf.
  • Die Gewindeschrauben 11, 12 werden verwendet, um die Verbindungsteile 1, 2 an Schäften 13, 14 anzuschrauben, welche in Femur bzw. Tibia eingetrieben werden. Die Schäfte 13, 14 weisen konische, sich verjüngende Ansätze 15, 16 auf, die in korrespondierende Ausnehmungen 17, 18 in den Verbindungsteilen 1 bzw. 2 eingreifen, wobei in den Ansätzen 15, 16 Gewindebohrungen 19, 20 ausgebildet sind, in die die Schrauben 11, 12 eingedreht werden.
  • Operativ werden also zunächst die Schäfte 13, 14 in Tibia bzw. Femur eingetrieben, und wenn die Schäfte 13, 14 positioniert sind, wird an sie je ein Verbindungsteil 1 bzw. 2 angeschraubt. In dieser Phase sind die Verbindungsteile 1, 2 noch entfernt voneinander und können relativ zueinander abgewinkelt sein.
  • Die nachfolgend beschriebenen Kurvenabschnitte der Verbindungsteile 1, 2 sind besonders gut in 7 und 9 erkennbar.
  • Der Kurvenabschnitt 5 ist konkav ausgebildet, wobei seine Begrenzungslinien 21, 22 kreisabschnittförmig, konzentrisch zu einem Mittelpunkt 23 verlaufen und über einen abschließenden Bogenabschnitt 24 miteinander verbunden sind.
  • Die Begrenzungslinien 25, 26 des konvexen Kurvenabschnitts 6 sind ebenfalls konzentrisch zu dem Mittelpunkt 23 verlaufende Kreisbogenabschnitte, welche über einen zum Bogenabschnitt 24 korrespondierenden Bogenabschnitt 27 verbunden sind.
  • Aufgrund dieser Konfiguration ist es möglich, wie im Zusammenhang mit 4 bis 6 einerseits und 7 bis 9 andererseits veranschaulicht, die Verbindungsteile 1, 2 über eine Schwenkbewegung um den Schwenkmittelpunkt 23 miteinander formschlüssig in Eingriff zu bringen, wobei der Formschluß bei einem Winkel von 35° beginnt. In 1 ist die Position dargestellt, wo die Schäfte 13, 14 von Tibia und Femur paxallel zueinander ausgerichtet und die Verbindungsteile 1, 2 form- und preßschlüssig miteinander verbunden sind.
  • Zur Herstellung einer endgültigen, belastbaren und zuverlässigen Fixierung in dieser Position sind in den Verbindungsteilen 1, 2 miteinander fluchtende Bohrungen 28, 29 eingebracht.
  • Die Bohrungen 29 weisen einen verbreiterten Abschnitt 30 zur Aufnahme eines Schraubenkopfes 31 auf. Die Bohrungen 28 sind mit einem Gewindeabschnitt 32 versehen, in welchen Gewindeabschnitte 33 von Verbindungsschrauben 34 eindrehbar ist. Die Verbindungsschrauben 34 verlaufen im eingedrehten Zustand in einem Winkel von etwa 45° zur Längsachse der Schäfte 13, 14.

Claims (5)

  1. Versteifungsanordnung für den menschlichen Kniegelenkbereich, umfassend – einen Tibiaschaft (13) – einen Femurschaft (14) – ein tibiaseitiges Verbindungsteil (2) – ein femurseitiges Verbindungsteil (1) – eine Verschraubung (Schraube 11) zwischen tibiaseitigem Verbindungsteil (2) und Tibiaschaft (13) – eine Verschraubung (Schraube 12) zwischen femurseitigem Verbindungsteil (1) und Femurschaft (14) sowie – eine schräg verlaufende, die Verbindungsteile (1, 2) verbindende Verschraubung (Schraube 34).
  2. Versteifungsanordnung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindungsteile (1, 2) form- und preßschlüssig miteinander verbunden sind.
  3. Versteifungsanordnung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindungsteile (1, 2) abschnittsweise über plane Stirnflächen (3, 4) aneinander anliegen.
  4. Versteifungsanordnung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindungsteile (1, 2) über Kurvenabschnitte (5, 6) formschlüssig einander anliegen.
  5. Versteifungsanordnung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der eine Kurvenabschnitt (5) konkav ausgebildet ist und Begrenzungslinien (21, 22) aufweist, die kreisabschnittförmig, konzentrisch zu einem Mittelpunkt (23) verlaufen, und daß der zweite Kurvenabschnitt (6) kreisabschnittförmige, konzentrisch zu dem Schwenkmittelpunkt (23) verlaufende Begrenzungslinien (25, 26) aufweist.
