Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a controllable web return conductor.
An electrical train is connected to the feeding substation through the overhead line and the tracks. Busbars and overhead lines are possible as overhead lines. The current is fed back through the tracks and the surrounding soil. In order to reduce the longitudinal rail voltages and thus the rail potentials, additional return conductors are often installed, as described in E. Schneider et al., "Railway return current routing and earthing in railway systems", Electrical Railway 96 ( 1998 ) 4, pages 85 to 106. The return conductors run parallel to the rails and are connected to them at regular intervals.
With direct current railways, only small currents are allowed to flow in the earth. Otherwise can corrode carefully laid metal parts. Pipe is particularly at risk cables and sheaths as well as steel-reinforced foundations of buildings, Masts, tunnels, bridges and viaducts. The tracks become the limit of the leakage currents is laid with high resistance to earth. An improvement in Current feedback is possible through insulated cables that are installed at regular intervals which are connected to the tracks and act as return conductors.
With AC railways of conventional design, much higher earth flows currents. Your share of the return flow of the web can increase to 30 to without additional measures 40%. This amount can be reduced by using return cables reduce to around 20%. A return cable is suspended near the overhead line and is connected to the tracks about every 300 m.
Large earth currents deteriorate the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of AC railway systems. There are higher magnets in their environment fields, higher interference voltages in telecommunication and signal cables bar. This can lead to malfunctions in electronic systems as with for example, computer screens and medical devices.
Bessere EMV-Eigenschaften zeigen Wechselstrom-Bahnnetze mit Booster- und Autotransformatoren.AC rail networks with booster and Auto transformers.
The booster transformer system uses insulated suspended return cables. These are connected to the tracks every 3 to 4 km, thus dividing the track stretch into sections of the same structure. Each track return loop contains a suction or booster transformer that connects the overhead line inductively with the Return cable couples. The suction transformer ensures that the entire, on a return flow flowing into a section of the route reaches the return cable. Significant track and earth currents can therefore only train cuts in which a train runs.
With the autotransformer system, the supply voltage is between the upper line, also known as a positive feeder, and the isolated return line cable, also known as a negative feeder. The zero point of the supply voltage source is connected to the tracks. The railway line is by economy or car transformers divided into 10 to 20 km sections. Every savings is there transformer between positive and negative feeders, its focus is on the Tracks connected. The return flow of the web flowing into a section of the route is redirected to the two feeders by the autotransformer. Therefore noteworthy track and earth currents can only develop in the sections, that are used by trains. As in rail networks, these can be more conventional Reduce design only by additionally installed return conductors, which with the tracks are connected in parallel.
Booster and auto transformers improve due to the reduced track and earth currents the EMC behavior of railway lines. In those not used Route sections are reduced compared to rail networks in conventional construction type the magnetic fields by a factor of 2 to 3 and the interference voltages by a factor of 10. The autotransformer system gains from these abroad and other reasons increasingly important.
The invention has for its object the reverse flow of DC and AC to actively influence the power lines and those connected to the tracks Push return conductors in order to relieve the current on the tracks and soil.
The object is achieved by the characterizing features of the spell 1 solved. Appropriate developments of the invention are dependent refer to claims.
The advantages achieved by the invention are in particular the increase the electromagnetic compatibility of electrically operated railway lines. At Direct current paths become corrosion by reducing earth currents avoided carefully laid metal parts. In the vicinity of AC current lower interference voltages and magnetic fields are noticed bar.
The invention is illustrated schematically below with reference to the drawing ter embodiments explained.

The embodiment according to FIG. 1 describes a railway power-supply system. The moving train Z is connected via the catenary 2 and the tracks 4 to the supply voltage source 1 of the substation. The tracks 4 are laid in an earth-sensitive manner and have contact with the reference earth 5 via their bleeder resistors 6 . A Rücklei ter 3 is used to improve the traction current feedback. It is connected to the tracks 4 at regular intervals of, for example, 300 m. This creates track-return conductor loops 7 along the route. Each of these loops 7 ent holds a controllable voltage source 8 , which lies in the return conductor 3 and is controlled by a controller 9 . The controller 9 compares the track current i G detected by the measuring device 10 with a reference variable i Gw , which is preferably zero. The voltage source 8 then suppresses the track current and at the same time also reduces the earth current. If this process is repeated in each conductor loop 7 , the entire track-earth region is relieved of current.
The controllable return conductor can be used in conventional rail networks use as in systems with booster and auto transformers. Along the ge EMC behavior is achieved across the entire railway line, which is otherwise only possible in the train-free Network sections with booster and auto transformers occur. With equal the already low earth current can be reduced even further to safely avoid corrosion on metal parts.
The controllable return conductor system also works if, for cost reasons, the track and earth currents should only be reduced in critical sections of the route. In this case, not all, but only selected track return conductor loops 7 are equipped with controllable voltage sources 8 .
The current measuring device 10 is preferably designed as an inductive current transformer in AC railways. Grinding into the track circuit requires the tracks to be cut each time. This effort can be avoided if, according to FIG. 2, only a part of the track return current is detected. For this purpose, an insulated conductor 11 is laid near the track and connected to the tracks 4 at the beginning and end. The track current component i G1 flowing through this conductor is detected by the measuring device 10 and corrected to zero. However, if the partial current i G1 is zero, the entire track current i G also becomes zero.
The control concept from FIG. 3 has the same effect as the configuration according to FIG. 1. The controllable voltage source 8 here, together with the regulator 9, influences the current of the return conductor 3 flowing in the conductor loop 7 . The current i R is detected by the measuring device 12 and compared in the controller 9 with the reference variable i Rw . This is equal to the negative current i F in the contact wire 2 and is determined by a further measuring device 13 . In the stationary state, only small currents can flow in the track-earth region of the conductor loop 7 . From the point of view of railway operations, however, the grinding of the measuring device 13 into the Fahrlei device 2 is unfavorable, so that the practical meaning of the control concept according to FIG. 3 is rather low.
The controllable voltage source 8 is expediently implemented by a power electronic converter with a DC voltage intermediate circuit 14 . According to FIGS. 4 and 5, this consists of the input converter SR1, the intermediate circuit capacitor C and the output converter SR2. The output power converter SR2 must be looped directly into the return conductor 3 in the case of direct current paths according to FIG. 4. 5 AC coupling is also possible via a transformer 16 according to FIG. 5. The converter obtains its energy via the input converter SR1 from a supply network 15 . This can be the rail network itself or the state network. However, other supply concepts are also conceivable. For example, several converters can be fed from a common DC voltage source. In this case, the input converter SR1 would not be necessary. For this purpose, however, the intermediate circuit capacitors must be connected to the DC voltage source via a line.
The required converter power is low due to the low impedance of the conductor loops fe 7 and should lie below 100 kVA with loop lengths of 300 m. Therefore transistor pulse converters, which are available as standard, can be used for implementation.
