Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a woven, porous conveyor belt for conveying bulk goods low specific density, especially for the promotion of tobacco fibers in one Corresponding cigarette manufacturing machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
The individual tobacco fibers are transferred into machines for producing cigarettes an air-flow shaft or a ramp up to the rotating conveyor band looked up. Here a bulk load of 5-30 mm is achieved. By Change the width of the suction channel, or the width of the porous conveyor belt the cross-section and the weight of the tobacco per unit length are varied. To a To maintain even weight of the cigarettes, the excess tobacco is about two circumferential knife discs, so-called trimmers, cut off and the excess Tobacco is returned to the tobacco conveyor system. Thanks to highly sensitive electronics the weight of the cigarettes or the tobacco occupancy under the conveyor belt (suction belt), constantly checked and by appropriate vertical movement of the trimmer discs or controlled by the tape. In addition, almost all modern cigarette manufacturers today the amount of tobacco in the cutting area, i.e. at the head and end of the cigarette, elevated. This will cause the tobacco fibers to fall out at the top of the cigarette and one achieved better sticking of the filter at the end of the cigarette. After the trimming process the exactly portioned tobacco is carried on by the vacuum suction belt and in one Zone in which the vacuum is reduced to zero on the cigarette paper in the so-called format transfer. In order to completely replace the tobacco, additional A so-called scraper is attached to the transfer area to completely detach the Ensures tobacco fibers from the suction belt.
Ähnliche Saugbänder werden beschrieben in DE-A 38 39 549, DE -A 35 38 928, FR-A 1238895 und in der DE-OS 19 32 616. Similar suction belts are described in DE-A 38 39 549, DE -A 35 38 928, FR-A 1238895 and in DE-OS 19 32 616. In these patents are already ge woven, porous cigarette machine tapes described, at the time the An demands on the suction belt and above all the speed, quality and consistency of the Tobacco were different. The tobacco fibers are made by modern tobacco preparation processes and V. a. the ribs of the tobacco leaves expand and the volume increases by up to 300% eats. In contrast to the intentional passage described in DE-OS 19 32 616 The waste caused by the suction belt is now being tried to fill the tobacco short fibers Use of cigarettes. To achieve this, the porosity must be very low, or the individual air passage openings should be made as small as possible. Contrary to this is the requirement, however, to ensure the highest possible air permeability of the suction belt hold so that the negative pressure of the vacuum does not become too high and thereby compress tobacco occurs under the suction belt. Because of the high production speed digkeit and v. a. the required, rapid detachment of the tobacco at the over point, tobacco shifts can easily occur with smooth belt designs, which then leads to tobacco accumulation in the suction channel area and to machine malfunctions ren.
Due to the high machine speed, which can be up to 900 m / min today, the tobacco conveyor belt is subject to considerable wear. Since replacing the Conveyor belt to significant losses in the overall efficiency of the machine combination nation, the industry demands suction tapes that last at least 8 hours without quality change can be used. It is v. a. not tolerated that the properties of the conveyor belt change during a shift due to wear and thereby the Quality of cigarettes is affected. Furthermore, it is not acceptable that Ver wear individual fibers of the fabric tape get into the tobacco and thereby at least negatively affect the taste of cigarettes.
Due to the circumstances described above, the following problems arise with conventional suction tapes:
High wear due to extreme friction in the suction channel, caused by increased Vacuum and high strand speed.
Large belt stretch and therefore corresponding slip friction on the drive pulley be.
- 3. Inakzeptabel kurze Standzeiten. 3. Unacceptably short downtimes.
Extremely high tobacco loss with tobacco mixtures with a high proportion of short tobacco.
Uneven transport of the tobacco and thus soft and hard places in the Cigarette.
- 6. Verschiebung der Endenverstärkung.6. Shift the end reinforcement.
Poor transport of the tobacco in the suction channel and therefore frequent tobacco stoppers.
Weight fluctuations due to uneven tobacco occupancy and therefore high Standard deviation of the tobacco weights.
Belt particles that fall out due to wear and tear and come into the tobacco the cleavage products of these polymeric materials cannot be accepted.
Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to create a conveyor belt create that these conflicting requirements are met.
This object is achieved by a conveyor belt with the features of claim 1.
The invention is based on the knowledge that the above-mentioned. Claims only through an ent speaking tissue structure or weave together with an extreme tem temperature and highly wear-resistant material can be achieved. For this reason an asymmetrical weave is used, which together with the use of highly wear-resistant polymer plastics such. B. polyethylene terephthalate, gefor other properties. The suction belt has an asymmetrical weave structure (barrel smooth side, tobacco side very rough) with a very densely arranged chain and, around the ent speaking porosity to achieve a relatively low shot density. For a 9.2 mm wide conveyor belt, a monofilament with a diameter of 0.25 mm is typically used, the number of warp threads is between 22 and 30. The weft density is between 10 and 20 shots / cm set.
So far, mainly polyamide 6 or polyamide 6.6 has been used as the material for suction tapes used. Due to the relatively good wear properties, v. a. of polyamide 6.6, were the performance characteristics of these belts for medium speed machines sufficient. By increasing the speed up to 15 m / sec but the friction within the suction channel increases exponentially and the service life of the Suction tapes have dropped dramatically. According to the invention, this problem is solved by the use of high polymer materials with a very high temperature resistance solved. Through intensive tests with polymeric materials that are processed into monofilament wires tet, it was found that a so-called. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is the reason material is ideally suited for solving this task. By an appropriate manufacturer lation process, this material can be processed into monofilament wires with a diameter of 0.1-0.4 mm be processed, and by appropriate treatment during the spinning process the stretching properties of the material changed so that the material is relatively low Shows stretch. Due to the high continuous use temperature of over 200 ° C Suction line conveyor belts made of monofilament threads made of polyester an extremely high mechani cal abrasion resistance is achieved and thereby a stable service life at Hochge speed cigarette making machines in a speed range <600 m / min reached.

The suction belt 1 shown in FIG. 4 has an asymmetrical weave structure (running side smooth, Ta bakseite very rough) with a very densely arranged chain with mutually parallel warp yarns 21 and to the appropriate porosity to achieve a relatively ge rings weft density of weft yarns 22 to achieve the air passage openings 23 . The weft threads 22 also have sections lying parallel to one another, which extend from edge to edge of the suction belt 1 . For a 9.2 mm wide conveyor belt, a monofilament with a diameter of 0.25 mm is typically used, the number of warp threads is between 22 and 30. The weft density is set between 10 and 20 weft / cm. Before the tension of the chain and weft is in a ratio of 1: 1-0.5: 1 to each other. The warp and weft are arranged in a binding manner so that one side of the belt is smooth and the other side of the belt for better conveying of the bulk material. has an extreme roughness due to the raised weft threads 24 . The rough structure of the belt is preferably symmetrical on both belt surfaces. At least 2 threads of warp and / or weft can be glued together at the band edges.
A conveyor belt, preferably a typical suction line conveyor belt for use in a High-performance cigarette machine has the typical dimension 4630 mm long, 9.2 mm wide. The thickness of the conveyor belt is between 0.5 and 1 mm. Due to the fact, that the suction belt runs in a narrow guide channel must have a width tolerance of + 0 / -0.5 mm are strictly observed. The conveyor belt can be made endless or on a continuous ribbon loom and then thermally put together be welded. The width-length ratio inevitably results in that the tape expands under tension due to the material properties and relatively large tensioning paths are required for this in terms of machine design. To the After the weaving process, the tape is kept at a tolerable level heat-set.
The warp 21 and weft threads 22 can be made of a monofilament and z. B. from Polyesterfä the group of polyethylene terephthalate (PET, PETP) consist. Parts of the weft threads 21 and / or warp threads 22 can also consist of multifilament threads. For example, according to FIG. 5, warp 21 and / or weft 22 can be a two-component thread, the core 18 of which is formed as a carrier fiber and made of polyethylene terephthalate and the sheath 19 of which have materials with a lower melting point. Preferably, the casing material should never have a coefficient of friction with steel or ceramic.
Parts of the warp and / or weft can consist of PET and polyamide or of one PBO fiber or aramid fiber exist, or be reinforced. These parts can be used Increase the running properties also consist of a metallic wire. Prefers is also the use of polyether ether ketone.
Parts of the warp and / or weft can consist of PET and / or polyamide monofilament is provided with a fine metallic layer on the surface to the static Derive charge.
