Abstract

The connector part (1,a) has a central passage (3) for a long connector plug (20) and longitudinal grooves (4,5) on the side and parallel to the bore, to act as fasteners. The grooves are plugged over longitudinal edges (13,16) of a furniture part. The connector is central-symmetrical and the grooves enclose an acute angle. One of the grooves has a pocket hole (7) in the base to accommodate a dowel (12). The connector is a round bar, and is of timber, or of metal, esp. aluminum.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Element zum Verbinden von Möbelteilen nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to an element for connecting furniture parts according to the Preamble of claim 1.

Das Rohrstück weist eine geriffelte Innenwandung auf, so dass zwei mit solchen Rohrstücken versehenen Holzplatten mit einem ebenso geriffel ten Verbindungsstange in einem beliebigen Winkel zueinander angeordnet wer den können. Es lassen sich damit Holzplatten für Tische oder Schränke auf eine relativ einfache Art zusammenstecken. Die dargestellten Verbindungsrohrstücke können aufgrund der relativ dünnen Wandung ausschliesslich aus Metall oder einem harten Kunststoff bestehen. Die Riffelung der Innenwandung der Verbin dungsrohrstücke und diejenige der Verbindungsstange müssen sehr genau auf einander abgestimmt sein, um ein Verklemmen zwischen der Verbindungsrohr stücke und der Verbindungsstange zu verhindern, was bei leicht verzogenen Holzplatten bald problematisch wird. Andererseits wird das Verbindungselement 1 mit der Längsnut 5 auf die Kante 16 einer weiteren Möbel platte 17 geschoben, so dass die beiden Möbelplatten 12 und 17 einen spitzen Winkel '' einschliessen. Dazu sind an den Endbereichen des Stiftes 20 Schraubengewinde vorgesehen, auf welche mit Schraubenmuttern versehenen Knäufe geschraubt sind (hier nicht weiter gezeigt), und die solchermassen aneinandergereihten Ver bindungselemente 1, 1a, . . . gleichzeitig beispielsweise einen Bettpfosten bilden.
