Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a wind power machine for the fundamental improvement of wind power technology.
Wind power is one of the most excellent energy suppliers available to us. she is clean, inexhaustible and would be sufficient to meet the total energy needs of the earth cover up. The supply of energy by conventional means poses because of its high order world pollution is not a minor problem and with ever increasing energy requirements it is Wind power is a good alternative. In addition, due to its exhaustion in the Zu there will no longer be enough raw materials available to cover the energy requirement. It is therefore certain that wind power will become more important. But here are certain Overcome obstacles.
A major factor that stands in the way of wind energy generation is the verbes worthy of wind power technology. The best known are the horizontal-axis two or three winged wind turbines. However, these are not very effective and have significant problems. With With their long propeller blades straying away from the axis, they are a powerful lever exposed, which is why the axes must be very heavy and stable. To the burden of To keep axles as low as possible, the propellers must be made of very light and high quality be made according to the material, which is a major cost factor. In addition, to redirect the Rotational movement from the horizontal to the vertical, angular axes with complex storage necessary. If this is to be saved, it is necessary to place the generator on top of the Install mast directly behind the wind turbine, which is due to the low speed of the axis also an extensive gearbox belongs, which is also complex. Then they have to Wind turbines are always in the correct position to face the wind thanks to an additional mechanism direction, which is not a small energy requirement for large systems points. Another problem is the sensitivity of these wind turbines. So with too high Wind speeds do not damage the blades of the wind turbine, they are right shut down early, which means a significant reduction in average performance. This Factors make such wind turbines expensive and unprofitable, because it takes many years Such systems bring profitable operating time, which leads to the fact that the generated by wind power Electricity is more expensive than electricity generated by conventional means. Another disadvantage of large wind turbines, the wing tips of which are often over 100 m high and whose light and shade The disruptive effects are that they are viewed as a disfigurement of the landscape and is therefore often not used. The vertical axis rotors, which we because of their constructive simplicity are unsatisfactory because they are like Dar rieus and the Savonius rotor, in addition to the starting difficulties, the lei too low have stung. Other variants of the vertical axles are those based on the old persi Windmills built according to windmills such as DE 26 35 909 A1 and DE 195 14 499 A1. These models have an extensive housing and a large funnel-shaped against the stem, which is extremely material and space consuming. In relation to Ge Such wind turbines have a small overall performance, because not only that Performance of the rotor can be seen, but also the effort that leads to it. Also cares the large stem, which serves to deflect the wind, for a strong side rotation, so that the whole structure turns constantly from the wind. To prevent this from happening are very large Wind vanes are required or mechanical equipment is required for this purpose. The same problem always arises with wind turbines: material costs and the technical effort is much too high in relation to the performance.
The aim of the invention is to provide a wind turbine in which these problems are largely eliminated. It must be structurally simple, must be very stable, must not incur high costs and must have high performance. This is achieved through the following features:
A three- or four-bladed vertical wind rotor, the blades of which are perpendicular to the axis and have an inward curvature corresponding to the rotor circle on the open-wind side, form the main part of the size of the wind turbine. This shape has the advantage that the wind can act directly and without detours on the wings of the wind rotor, thus ensuring optimal use of wind power. The main subject of the wind machine according to the invention, however, is a narrow vertical surface corresponding to the length of the rotor, which is located on the slipstream side of the rotor. This area is only two thirds the width of a rotor blade, is slightly curved outwards and is at right angles to the wind direction. Covered slightly outwards, it covers approximately the middle of the slipstream side of the rotor. This area is not used for shading, but it creates a strong suction effect when the wind blows on the back, which drives the rotor on this side in the desired direction and significantly increases performance. By means of this simple device, in contrast to a normal resistance rotor, the wind power is largely used by a reversing effect on the slipstream side. According to claim, the size and position of the air intake surface must be precisely matched to the rotor, so that both result in a uniform whole. A change in the stated dimensional provisions would mean a considerable loss of performance.
The air intake surface can be rotated in any direction and is always countered by a wind vane kept the wind. It is a great advantage that the air intake area is relatively narrow and is located directly on the rotor and therefore no great force is required to close it control, which is why a small wind vane is sufficient.
The length and diameter of the rotor can be individually adapted to the tasks assigned to them become. It is advisable to choose a long, narrow shape for power generation, which means that Rotor becomes relatively high-speed and gears are largely eliminated, which is another advantageous Simplification is. In addition, the rotor with its blades located close to the axis and its bilateral storage very robust and stable, what high wind speeds is a necessity. To avoid overwinding when the wind speeds are too high, a storm safety device can be easily installed. This is done through a flexible Design of the air intake surface. This is on rotatable joints, which at a give in to certain pressure exerted by the wind and the air intake surface faces the outside Side of the rotor turns in the wind direction so that the rotor is braked by the wind. At When the wind subsides, the joints turn to their original position due to springs return
The vertical high-performance wind rotor is technically uncomplicated and does not require any expensive and special materials; therefore it can be manufactured very inexpensively. He also has in In relation to its size an above average performance and is already running Low wind without problems. He is also significantly less noticeable in the landscape than the one gangs mentioned large wind turbines with their long propeller blades.
The vertical high-performance wind rotor is an excellent option for large and small systems alternative energy production. An embodiment of the invention is in the Drawing shown and we described in more detail below.
Fig. 1 zeigt die gesamte Windkraftmaschine im Querschnitt. Fig. 1 shows the entire wind turbine in cross section. The rotor 1 with its specially curved wings. The position and width of the air intake surface 2 are clearly shown. The wind vane 3 guides the air intake surface 2 against the wind by means of a linkage. On the rear side of the air intake surface there is a joint 4 which yields at too high a wind speed and so the air intake surface rotates to a certain extent in the wind direction and thus brakes the rotor.
Fig. 2 zeigt die Seitenansicht der gesamten Windkraftmaschine. Fig. 2 shows the side view of the entire wind turbine. The rotor 1 with its axis and its bearings. At the far left or the air suction 2 can be seen with its rotary joint 4, which is located on the leeward side of the rotor. A relatively small wind vane 3 is sufficient to direct the air intake surface against the wind. The entire construction is held by a mast 5 or by anchoring.
