Mittels Rollen oder Räder, die zur Sicherheit mit Feststellbremsen versehen sind, läßt er sich leicht bewegen. Der Ausleger des Minikrans ist ausziehbar und um 180° schwenkbar. Am Ausleger befindet sich ein Rollbehälter, der ein Federzug beinhaltet. Die Aufhängung des Federzugs läßt sich im Ausleger leicht hin und her bewegen. An dem Federzug ist ein Flächensauger eingehangen. Dieser ist mittels Luftschlauch mit einem unterdruckerzeugenden Aggregat (z. B. Vakuumpumpe) verbunden. Durch das glatte Aufliegen des Flächensaugers auf den Baustoff, kann das Baumaterial angesaugt (festgehalten) werden. Über den Federzug und den Ausleger wird das Gewicht des Baustoffs (max. 40 kg) aufgenommen. Bei höheren Gewichten (bis 200 kg) ist ein stabilerer Kran mit einem elektrischen Kettenzug einzusetzen. Die Saugeinrichtung hält grundsätzlich ein Gewicht bis ca. 200 kg fest.
