Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a rotor plate for OE spinning units with a grippy fiber with respect to the fibers to be spun collecting groove made with a diamond-containing nickel Layer is provided, and with a smooth with respect to the fibers Fiber sliding surface with a nickel layer without diamond grains is provided.
From DE 43 05 626 A1 it is known that the fiber collection groove greater frictional resistance with respect to the fibers should have as the fiber sliding surface. For one thing achieved that with the relatively steep fiber sliding surfaces of Spinning rotors with small diameters still have enough fibers easily slide to the fiber collecting groove while the other for it care is taken that the fibers at the fiber collection groove at the latest assume the peripheral speed of the spinning rotor. The areas of the rotor plate are continuously covered with a nickel-diamond Provide coating. The desired roughness in the fiber The collecting groove in the known spinning rotor comes about in that Individual diamond particles protrude from the coating. The Fiber sliding surface, on the other hand, is smoothed afterwards, then a large part of the diamond grains is torn out, causing the fiber sliding surface loses the unwanted grip. The disadvantage here is that expensive diamond particles on the entire surface of the rotor plate are applied and that then the diamond parts at least on the fiber sliding surface be removed again because their function at this point is undesirable.
The invention has for its object a rotor plate type mentioned to coat so that from the outset the Diamond particles are only applied where they actually are are needed.
The object is achieved in that the two nickel layers in separate coating operations are applied.
While it was previously assumed that it was not possible only the fiber collecting groove with a nickel-diamond To provide coating, since the coating process in one Bad is applied, it is by the inventive method Ren still possible, the diamond particles only in the fiber apply collecting groove. It is beneficial if the slide sheath grains of the nickel layer belonging to the fiber collecting groove have a grain size of 4µ.
The coating process is expedient in the following steps carried out:
First the entire rotor plate is chemically nickel-plated, which creates the desired coating on the fiber sliding surface is generated and on all surfaces of the rotor plate, including where the fibers do not reach themselves, a protection against corrosion is achieved. Then the fiber collecting groove with a removable insert covered, for example as radial resilient plastic mask is formed. After that can the entire rotor plate in the bath of a protective layer, for example liquid wax, are immersed, the Removable insert prevents the protective layer from entering the fiber collecting groove to arrive. If now the use of the Fiber collection groove is removed, the whole is already chemical nickel-plated contour of the rotor plate through a protective layer covered. This makes it possible for the Rotor plate in a bathroom without external current with a nickel diamond Coating is provided, this nickel-diamond coating only applied to the fiber collecting groove, and that on the one already there, previously applied Nickel layer. The expensive diamond particles only get there to where they will actually be needed later. If from closing the protective layer from the other contours of the rotor plates is removed again, you get a rotor plate, at the fiber collecting groove with a handy nickel-diamond Coating and the fiber sliding surface with a smooth clean Nickel coating is provided. Because the nickel Coating also covers the outer contours of the rotor plate corrosion protection also achieved.
Of course, nickel plating is needed not to trade pure nickel, but it is also here Nickel alloy possible.
Further advantages and features of the invention result from the following description of an embodiment.

Shown in FIG. 1 open-end spinning rotor 1 comprises in known manner a rotor cup 2 and a rotationally fixed shaft 3 connected thereto. The open front side 4 of the rotor plate 2 faces the operating side of the open-end spinning unit and is closed by a cover, not shown, during operation.
Fibers to be spun are fed to a fiber sliding surface 5 of the rotor plate 2 through the open front side 4 during operation via a fiber feed channel (not shown). Under the effect of centrifugal force, the fibers slide on this in a fiber collecting groove 6 , which has the largest diameter in the inner region of the rotor plate 2 .
So that the fibers safely get into the fiber collecting groove 6 even with relatively steep fiber sliding surfaces 5 , the fiber sliding surface 5 should be as smooth as possible. In the fiber collecting groove 6, however, the fibers should assume the circumferential speed of the rotor plate 2 as possible without slippage. For this reason, the fiber collecting groove 6 has a non-slip design with respect to the fibers.
The different friction ratios of the fiber sliding surface 5 and the fiber collecting groove 6 , in each case with respect to the fibers, are achieved in that the fiber collecting groove 6 with a nickel-diamond coating 8 (see FIG. 3) and the fiber sliding surface 5 with a nickel layer 7 without diamond grains 9 ( see Fig. 2) is provided. For this purpose, the entire inner and outer contour of the rotor plate 2 is first provided with the nickel layer 7 , although its function is only required on the fiber sliding surface 5 . The nickel layer 7 then forms a corrosion protection on the other surfaces. The nickel-diamond coating 8 , which has diamond grains 9 in the order of magnitude of preferably 4 μm, is applied to the nickel layer 7 only in the fiber collecting groove 6 .
The coating processes separated according to the invention can be through the following process steps:
Das Aufbringen der Nickel schicht 7 geschieht üblicherweise bei 90°C.The rotor plate 2 , consisting of a steel alloy, is first provided with a nickel coating in an aqueous solution 10 without external current ( FIG. 4A). The application of the nickel layer 7 is usually done at 90 ° C.
FIG. 4B shows the fully chemically nickel-plated rotor disk 2. Since the fiber collecting groove 6 is then to be provided with a nickel-diamond coating 8 , the fiber collecting groove 6 is first covered with a removable insert 14 . This insert 14 can be a radially resilient plastic mask, which is located exclusively in the fiber collecting groove 6 and which can be shaped accordingly for insertion. The contour of the insert 14 is adapted to the contour of the fiber collecting groove 6 .
The rotor plate 2 provided in this way with the insert 14 can now be temporarily provided with a protective layer ( FIG. 4C). For this purpose, the rotor plate 2 is immersed in a liquid keitsbad 15 , which consists for example of liquid wax. All surfaces of the rotor plate 2 are covered with the exception of the fiber collecting groove 6 .
In FIG. 4D, it can be seen the rotor plate 2, which is provided on all surfaces, in particular the fiber sliding surface 5, with a protective layer 16 (for example, wax). This protective layer 16 is highlighted by thick lines. Only the fiber collecting groove 6 is free of this protective layer 16 , which is characterized by thinner lines.
Now it is possible to provide only the fiber collecting groove 6 of the rotor plate 2 in the desired manner with the nickel-diamond coating 8 (see FIG. 3). This process step is shown in Fig. 4E. The rotor plate 2 provided with the protective layer 16 is immersed in an aqueous solution 17 which is designed in such a way that diamond grains 9 are embedded in the coating without external current. This coating process is basically known and need not be explained in more detail here. Because of the protective layer 16 previously applied, only the fiber collecting groove 6 is now provided with a nickel-diamond coating 8 .
FIG. 4F shows the finished rotor plate 2 , which - after the protective layer 16 has subsequently been removed again - corresponds to FIG. 1. This means that the fiber collecting groove 6 is provided with a grip nickel-diamond coating 8 and the smooth fiber sliding surface 5 with a nickel coating 7 .
