Dieser besteht aus einem länglichen Element, das im Inneren die Empfangselektronik und einen DIP-Schalter 9 zum Einstellen der Programmierung für die zugeordnete Fernbedienung, sowie des Systemcodes aufweist. Außerdem ist an diesem Teil ein Reglerknopf 5, der anstelle der Fernbedienung genutzt werden kann, angeordnet. An dem der Gewindefassung 2 entgegengesetzten Ende des Funk- Lichtdimmers 1 befindet sich eine eingebaute Lampenfassung 7', die zur Aufnahme der Gewindefassung 2 der Glühbirne 4 dient.
