Abstract
Verfahren zum Herstellen von Hohlprofil-Bauteilen, insbesondere mit in Längsrichtung des jeweiligen Bauteiles (1) unterschiedlichen Querschnitten, bei dem ein Hohlprofil (5) zunächst mechanisch vorprofiliert und anschließend in einem Formwerkzeug über seine Gesamtlänge durch Einleitung eines Druckmediums aufgeweitet wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Hohlprofil (5) ein Teil gewählt wird, welches mindestens in einem Teilbereich mindestens einer seiner Seitenwände (6,12-14) faltenförmig ausgebildet ist und daß die Anzahl und die Abmessungen der Falten (7) des Hohlprofiles (5) derart gewählt werden, daß das sich ergebende Umfangsmaß des Querschnittes des Hohlprofiles (5) und die Umfangsmaße der gegebenenfalls unterschiedlichen Querschnitte des durch Hydroumformung hergestellten Bauteiles (1) übereinstimmen.Method for producing hollow profile components, in particular with different cross sections in the longitudinal direction of the respective component (1), in which a hollow profile (5) is first mechanically pre-profiled and then expanded in a mold over its entire length by introducing a pressure medium, characterized in that a part is selected as the hollow profile (5), which has a wrinkle-shaped design in at least one partial area of at least one of its side walls (6, 12-14) and that the number and dimensions of the folds (7) of the hollow profile (5) are selected in such a way that the resulting circumferential dimension of the cross section of the hollow profile (5) and the circumferential dimensions of the possibly different cross sections of the component (1) produced by hydroforming match.
