Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sensor magnet according to the Oberbe handle of claim 1 and also relates to a Ma Magnetizing coil for its magnetization.
For recording lengths, angles and absolute positioning are so far in measurement and automation technology be used optical measuring systems. Although these measuring systems have a high accuracy, they turn out to be rough Operating conditions as prone to failure. Lately therefore tries to measure such systems based on Ma gnet field sensors and multi-pole magnetized permanent magnets to train. The sensor magnets are encoded using an embossed north-south pole pattern on one or more traces. The location of northern and southern Poland can be changed with one or several digital magnetic field sensors the. Practice has shown, however, that it is not symmetrical magnetized permanent magnets (wide and narrow north or South Poles as immediate or indirect neighbors) a shift in the field strength and slope of the flan the induction curve at a defined distance (position of the sensor) in the area of the north-south transitions.
To make matters worse, the are used Magnetic field sensors have a switching hysteresis and thus also a certain inaccuracy when evaluating the posi cause. These physical processes have one direct influence on the accuracy and the use of such Positioning systems.
This magnetization should occur due to the switching hysteresis the largest possible field gradient near the switching have sensitivity of the sensor magnet.
In addition to this, it should be noted that increasingly Permanent magnets in combination with a sensor element (e.g. Hall sensor, field plate, GMR or GIANT MAGNETO RESI STANT sensor or similar) can be used for position detection. Here, a linear displacement between the magnet and Sensor or a rotary movement of a magnetic rotor with frontal or lateral magnetization who is detected the.
In many applications, high demands are placed on the Ge accuracy of the position of the pole transition. This about gait sharpness is generally determined by the accuracy of the Magnetizing coil determined.
In some cases, instead of regular switching patterns, they are the same irregular pole pattern required is the width of the poles over which the switching state of the Sensor defined on or off, varies from Pole to pole. Even with any exact magnetization here by the regularity of the stray fields magneto statically the zero crossing of the detected induction between the poles shifted from the magnetization change. The shift depends, among other things, on the measuring distance, so that even with exact magnetization the switching points against are shifted above their ideal location. The same problem Matics occur with multi-track magnetizations, in which the poles of the neighboring tracks the zero crossing over a track move.
The object of the invention is magnetization of the sensor magnet in the development of such a positioning system to influence systems so that this shift makes more sense wise is the least, and a type of magnetization wind, where the stray field effect of wide poles only ge has a slight effect on nearby pole transitions.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that each switching range of the sensor magnet in the middle between greatly reduced magnetization at the pole transitions points and the magnetization in the area of the pole transitions highest and there in the direction as quickly as possible returns.
Particularly advantageous developments of the invention are in characterized claims 2 to 9, while the claim 10 on a magnetizing coil for magnetizing Sensorma gneten directed according to the invention.
To detect the magnetization according to the invention, bipo Lar switching sensors are particularly suitable, in which the Switching states in fields of opposite signs change selen. These sensors have a switching hysteresis that the Zero crossing covered, that is, the switching state of the Sensors stays with the decline in the field to one received small field value of opposite sign.
Another advantage of this magnetization is that in that to magnetize the permanent magnets used relatively simple coils can be used because fields in the magnitude of the saturation fields in the magnetizing pulse are only required in the area of the pole transitions. The stream conductors no longer have to cover the entire pole area inevitably enclose.
The preferred magnetic direction of the magnetic material can either in the direction of movement or perpendicular to the movement direction. Such sensor magnets can do more be formed lane and as part of a switching unit in Combination with a bipolar magnetic field sensor used become.
A magnetizing coil for magnetizing such Sen Sormagneten is also particularly characterized in that the current conductors of the magnetizing coil do not cover the pole areas enclose completely and tightly.
As particularly advantageous for both magnetization and it has also been used to scan such sensor magnets proven if the magnetization of the sensor magnet is internal half of the wider switching ranges between the pole transitions close to less than 60% of the absolute magnetization the pole transitions decrease. The magnetization can Area of the middle of the wider switching ranges almost ver dwindle and return below 10% of the saturation magnetization go.
Such sensor magnets can advantageously be used as rotor dimensions gnet with frontal magnetization or as a rotor gnet be formed with magnetization on the outer circumference. Different configurations come depending on the application and Purpose also in question.
In der Zeichnung zeigenThe invention is based on the accompanying schematic Drawings explained in more detail. Show in the drawing

Fig. 7 is a magnetized on the circumference with Rotomagneten into ordered bipolar switching sensors which can be designed as a Hall sensor, magnetoresistive sensor or GMR sensor.
The sensor magnets 1 shown in FIGS . 1 to 4 have magnetization patterns with at least two switching regions 1 a, 1 b of different widths between the pole transitions 2 on one or more tracks for field generation for scanning in conjunction with a bipolar switching sensor.
In the sensor magnet 1 of FIG. 1 is a conventionally magnetized magnets of four poles 3 entge gengerichteter polarity 4, wherein on the four poles 3, the magnetic flux density "B" in connection with the level "a" for the turn-ON a bipolar switch and the level "b" for switching such a bipolar switch OFF. The resulting switching states ON and OFF are shown above, it being particularly noticeable that the ON and OFF switching points E and A with respect to the zero crossing at the pole transitions 2 between the differently wide switching ranges 1 a, 1 b with opposite polarity 4th are shifted comparatively strongly with an amount X A or X E.
The size of the shift X A or X E depends, among other things, on the measuring distance, so that even with exact magnetization, the switching points E and A between the poles 3 are shifted relative to their ideal position. The same problem occurs with multi-track magnetizations, in which the poles of the neighboring tracks shift the zero crossing over a track.
In order to keep the displacement at the pole transitions 2 as small as possible, each switching region 1 a, 1 b of the sensor magnet 1 in the middle between the pole transitions 2 has a greatly reduced magnetization in the exemplary embodiments of the invention according to FIGS. 2 to 4, so that the magnetization in the area of the pole transitions 2 is highest and there reverses as quickly as possible in the direction.
It has been found to be particularly advantageous for the highest possible switching accuracy if the magnetization of the sensor magnet 1 within the wider switching areas 1 b between the pole transitions 2 goes back to less than 60% of the absolute magnetization in the vicinity of the pole transitions.
The magnetization can also almost disappear in the area of the middle of the wider switching ranges 1 b and decrease below 10% of the saturation magnetization.
Such prerequisites are given in the magnetized sensors according to the invention from FIGS . 2 to 4.
In the sensor magnet 1 of FIG. 2, the pole transitions 2 were produced having the compositions shown there magnetization directions 4a by three single conductor. The magnetic flux density "B" lies in the middle part between the pole transitions 2 just above the zero crossing between the two levels "a" and "b" for the ON and OFF switching of a bipolar switch and only increases in the immediate vicinity of the pole transitions 2 on the relevant level, so that the ON and OFF switching points E and A of the bipolar switch are always shifted at a constant small distance X a , X e , with respect to the pole transitions 2 .
In the embodiment of Fig. 3 there are practically the same requirements as in the sensor magnet 1 of Fig. 2, except that with this second sensor magnet 1 the magnetic preferred direction of the magnetic material is in the direction of movement and has an anisotropic orientation in the direction of displacement. This reduces the sensitivity of the scanned signal to interference fields.
Even with this type of magnetization, the magnetic flux density "B" in the middle part of the differently wide switching ranges 1 a, 1 b in the immediate vicinity of the zero crossing between the levels "a" and "b" for switching ON and OFF a bipolar switch to suddenly rise at the strongly magnetized pole transitions 2 and reverse there as quickly as possible in the direction, which has only a very slight shift in the switching points E and A of the bipolar switch relative to the pole transitions 2 .
This also applies correspondingly to the third type of magnetization of such a sensor magnet 1 shown in FIG. 4 with switching regions 1 a, 1 b having different widths and only a very slight magnetization in the middle part between the pole transitions 2 . This sensor magnet 1 has a magnetization of the magnetic material with a preferred direction 4 c perpendicular to the direction of movement in the immediate vicinity of the pole transitions 2 . As a result, the switching sharpness and accuracy of a bipolar switching sensor, such as. B. a Hall sensor, a field plate, a GMR sensor or the like, also positively influenced, such as the course of the magnetic flux density "B" in Fig. 4 and the curve shown above for the switching points ON and OFF or E and A one such scarf age or sensor can be recognized. Such sensor magnets can be designed with multiple tracks.
In Fig. 5, the current path 5 is formed between the current input and current output 5 a 5 b a coil 6 for siebenspurigen recording a digital pattern for detecting rotational position of a disc to the frontal scan shown. The winding of the coil 6 is arranged in such a way that, when the rotor magnet 10 is magnetized on the end face, as shown in FIG. 6, there is an alternating sequence of NORTH and SOUTH poles N and S, which in the outer part are densely packed directly next to one another follow each other and increase in size towards the center and decrease in number accordingly, so that finally in the middle part only two NORTH and two SOUTH poles N and S are diametrically opposed to each other and offset by 180 °, with all NORTH and SOUTH poles of different widths, the middle part between the pole transitions is very slightly magnetized and the magnetization is highest in the area of the pole transitions and, as shown in the exemplary embodiments of FIGS . 2 to 4, reverses in the direction as quickly as possible. For better clarity, the north and south poles N and S of the rotor magnet 10 of FIG. 6 are only entered completely in the upper right quadrant and only partially in the remaining quadrants.
This type of magnetization on such a rotor magnet with end-side magnetization is shown in FIG. 7 in an enlarged view compared to FIG. 6. The dash-dotted line 7 a characterizes the edge-side region of the maximum flux density at the NORD poles and the dashed line 7 b the region of the maximum flux density at the SOUTH poles. The current conductors of the magnetizing coil of FIG. 5 are arranged for this magnetisation so that it does not enclose the pole regions N and S of the failed to be magnetized benförmigen or cylindrical sensor magnet completeness, dig and narrow. This can be easily ascertained by making the representation of the magnetizing coil 6 of FIG. 5 coincide with the rotor magnet 10 of FIG. 6.
In the further embodiment of Fig. 8 is a magnetized at the outer peripheral rotor magnet 11 can be formed with a plurality of shift ranges different widths and their associated bipolar switching sensors 12 that are either similar to the Hall sensor, magnetoresistive sensor, GMR sensor, or.
Here, too, the NORD and SÜD poles have a similar sequence and different widths as for the type of magnetization of the rotor magnet 10 from FIG. 7, the dash-dotted lines 7 a show the areas of the maximum magnetic flux density of the NORD poles at the pole transitions and the dotted lines 7 b to the region of maximum flux density of the south poles respectively in the immediate vicinity of the pole transitions.
In addition to the sensor magnet 1 , which is mangled on the outer circumference, there are several bipolar switching magnetic field sensors 12 for scanning the differently wide switching ranges of the sensor magnet with the greatly reduced magnetization in the middle of each switching range between the edge-side magnetizations 7 a, 7 b, which are in the area of the pole transitions and is therefore highest only in very narrow, narrow areas and reverses in the direction as quickly as possible. As already mentioned above, the magnetic field sensors 12 can each be either Hall sensors, field plates, GMR sensors or similar components.
