Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Airbag für Kindersitze, wo bei wenigstens ein Gewichtssensor und ein Erschütterungsschalter vorgesehen sind.
Dem Airbag für Kindersitze ist derart ein Gewichtssensor zugeordnet, daß ein Kontakt hergestellt wird, so bald ein Kind sich im Sitz befindet. Nach einer starken Erschütterung durch einen Unfall, sei es im Front- bzw. Heckbereich oder auch seitlich, wird durch den im Sitz befindlichen Erschütterungsschalter der Airbag ausgelöst, um das Kind zu schützen.
Die Ladung des Zündkontaktes für diesen Airbag weist in zweckmäßiger Weise eine geringere Stärke auf als diejenige eines Airbags für Erwachsene.

Claims (4)

1. Airbag für Kindersitze, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dem Kindersitz wenigstens ein Gewichtssensor derart zugeordnet ist, daß bei Erfassung eines im Kindersitz sich befindenden Kindes im Falle eines Unfalles der Airbag auslösbar ist.
2. Airbag nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Kindersitz ein Erschütte­ rungsschalter vorgesehen ist, über welchen bei einem Unfall der Airbag auslösbar ist.
3. Airbag nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mittels des Ge­ wichtssensors ein Kontakt herstellbar ist, falls ein Kind im Kindersitz sich befindet.
4. Airbag nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ladung des Zündkontaktes für den Airbag eine niedrigere Stärke aufweist, als die Stärke eines Airbags für Erwachsene.
