Beleuchtungssystem zur wahlweisen Ansteuerung von Beleuchtungsmitteln über eine Busleitung, die zur Ausleuchtung bestimmter Ausstellungsstücke dienen und dessen Ansteuerung mit Hilfe von Kommunikationseinrichtungen vorgenommen wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Bildschirm (13) über eine separate Verbindungsleitung (10), ein Lautsprecher (14) über eine separate Verbindungsleitung (11) und ein Tastenfeld (15) über eine separate Verbindungsleitung (12) mit einem Multimedia-Steuergerät (9) in Verbindung stehen, welches diese Kommunikationseinrichtungen datentechnisch (13, 14, 15) über eine Busleitung (1) mit ausgangsseitig angeschlossenen Beleuchtungsmitteln (2-8) in Verbindung bringt, und dass vom Multimedia- Steuergerät (9) entsprechende Daten aussendbar sind, dass produktbezogen zeitlich aufeinander abgestimmt bei Ausleuchtung von bestimmten, in einem Präsentationsraum vorhandener, Ausstellungsstücke (16, 17, 18) eine visuelle Darbietung über den Bildschirm und eine akustische Darbietung über den Lautsprecher abgegeben wird.1.
