Abstract

The photocopier includes a simple masking flat profile masking frame to mask the edges of a document and prevent black edges in the copy. The masking frame has two or more flat strips whose relative position is easily adjusted to provide a scanning aperture to match the document size. Fig. 1 veranschaulicht ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung am Beispiel eines gängigen Kopiergerätes (10) mit einer Bedienungszeile (12), in der die Funktionstasten sich befinden, und einem Kopiergerätedeckel (14). Auf der Kopierfläche - Glasplatte - (16) befindet sich eine Kopier­ vorlage (18) und am rechten Rand der Kopiervorlage eine flächige Abdeckvorrichtung (20). Die Abdeckvorrichtung ist in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel nicht mit dem Kopier­ gerät verbunden, sondern kann einfach neben die Kopier­ vorlage gelegt werden. Als Grundform der Abdeckvorrichtung bietet sich eine rechteckige Plastikfläche an. Die Abdeck­ vorrichtung kann in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel (20) auch als flächige Kopierblende bezeichnet werden. Die Größe der Abdeckvorrichtung sollte in Längsrichtung mindestens DIN A4 und in Querrichtung mindestens 10 cm betragen, um eine flexible (an die jeweilige Größe der Kopiervorlage) Anpassung und Abdeckung der nicht durch die Kopiervorlage abgedeckten Kopierfläche zu ermöglichen. Diese ausziehbaren Abdeckvorrichtungen könnten wie Rollos, Jalou­ sien oder ausziehbare Leinwände für Film- oder Dia-Projek­ tionen ausgeführt sein, wobei eine dünne Folie ausreichen würde. Hier nicht zu sehen ist der Auf- und Abwickelmecha­ nismus der Folie, da dieser sich unter der Oberseite des Kopiergeräts befindet. Um den Ausziehvorgang zu erleichtern, könnten Eingriffe (38) in die Abdeckvorrichtung integriert sein. Die flexiblen Befestigungspunkte (40) sind hier als Magnetpunkte vorstellbar, was auch dünne Metalleisten parallel verlaufend zur Kopierfläche auf der Kopiergeräte­ oberseite notwendig machen würde. Denkbar ist auch, daß diese ausziehbaren Abdeckvorrichtungen nicht schon in das Kopiergerät integriert sind und über die länglichen Öff­ nungsspalten (36) und (37) auf die Kopierfläche ausgezogen werden, sondern daß diese ausziehbaren Abdeckungen als nachträglich anbringbares Zubehör ausgeführt sind. Dann könnte der Auf- und Abwickelmechanismus der Folie an Stelle der länglichen Öffnungsspalten (36) und (37) auf die Kopiergeräteoberseite z. B. geklebt werden. Das Aus­ führungsbeispiel der Erfindung nach Fig. 5 zeigt ferner im Unterschied zu den vorhergehenden Ausführungsbeispielen der Erfindung eine flächige Abdeckvorrichtung, die sowohl eine bündige Abdeckung des rechten als auch des unteren Kopierrands erlaubt. Bei den vorhergehenden Ausführungs­ beispielen waren jeweils eine Abdeckvorrichtung für den rechten und eine für den unteren Kopierrand notwendig. Eine Befestigungsmöglichkeit mit dem Kopier gerät besteht bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 5 nicht. Ferner wird ermöglicht, die untere (48) auf die rechte (46) Abdeckfläche zu drehen, um so einen platzsparenden Vertrieb bzw. eine platzsparende Aufbewahrung der Abdeck­ vorrichtung zu ermöglichen. Das Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung nach Fig. 6 entspricht im wesentlichen dem Aus­ führungsbeispiel der Erfindung nach Fig. 5 nur mit dem Unterschied, daß die Längs- und Querfläche sich im Ver­ bindungspunkt (50) überschneiden und hierdurch beweglich zueinander sind. Diese schienenartige Vorrichtung (58) kann in einer der drehbar miteinander verbundenen Abdeckflächen dergestalt integriert sein, als eine Aus­ sparung in der Breite des Gelenkbolzens vorgenommen wird, so daß an dem Scharniergelenk die Abdeckflächen zueinander zugleich gedreht als auch verschoben werden können. Auch ist denkbar, daß die Abdeckflächen integrierte und am jeweiligen Rand (60) ausziehbare oder ausklappbare Abdeck­ elemente haben, die eine Verlängerungs- oder Verbreiterungs­ möglichkeit der Abdeckflächen gewähren würden. Fig. 8 zeigt ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfin­ dung. Im Unterschied zum Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfin­ dung nach Fig. 7 bei dem die Abdeckvorrichtung nicht mit dem Kopier gerät verbunden und als Kopierzubehör ausgeführt ist, ist die Abdeckvorrichtung nach dem Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 8 mit dem Kopiergerät verbunden (62). Auch diese Verbindung kann als Scharniergelenk ausgeführt sein, was ein Wegdrehen der Abdeckvorrichtung, wenn diese nicht be­ nötigt wird, von der Kopierfläche weg auf den Rahmen der Kopierfläche unter den Kopiergerätedeckel ermöglichen würde. Dieses Scharniergelenk (62) muß nicht fest mit dem Kopier­ gerät verbunden sein, sondern kann ebenfalls lösbar über eine kleine Anklebfläche (Klebepunkt), einen Saugnapf oder einen Magneten mit dem Kopiergerät verbunden sein, wobei letztere Verbindung eine parallel zur Kopierfläche ver­ laufende Metalleiste notwendig machen würde. Um nun nicht nur eine Verschiebung der Abdeckflächen in Längsrichtung zu ermöglichen- was die schienenartige Vorrichtung (58) erlaubt, sondern auch eine Verschiebung der Abdeckvorrich­ tung in Querrichtung zu ermöglichen, ist auch an der Ver­ bindungsstelle mit dem Kopiergerät (62) eine schienenartige Vorrichtung (64) denkbar, die ebenfalls in eine Abdeckfläche in Form einer Aussparung in der Breite des Gelenkbolzens integriert ist. Die Verbindung mit dem Kopiergerät muß nicht wie in Fig. 8 am oberen Rand des Kopiergeräts sein, sondern kann sich auch am linken Rand des Kopiergeräts befinden. Sie sollte aber außerhalb der Kopierfläche (Einfassungsrahmen der Glasplatte) sein, um die Glasplatte zu schonen. Die Abdeckvorrichtung nach Fig. 8 ist dadurch im Verhältnis zum Kopier gerät sowohl ausklappbar als auch verschiebbar ausgeführt (62) (64). Ferner sind die Abdeck­ flächen zueinander über das Gelenk (56) und die schienen­ artige Vorrichtung (58) ausklappbar als auch verschiebbar ausgeführt. Dies macht eine flexible bündige Abdeckung der nicht durch die Kopiervorlage abgedeckten Kopierfläche möglich. Fig. 8 shows another embodiment of the inven tion. Diese Verbindung ist hier insoweit fest, als die Abdeckvorrichtung nicht mehr von dem Kopiergerät genommen werden kann. Sie kann lediglich in der Schiene (76), die in dem oberen Rahmen des Kopiergeräts (als Aus­ sparung) integriert ist, verschoben und über das Gelenk (74) gedreht werden. Allerdings ist auch hier vorstellbar, daß die Abdeckvorrichtung nach Fig. 9 als Zubehör dergestalt ausgeführt wird, daß die Schiene (76) - lösbar - aufgeklebt wird.
