Aus der DE-196 08 183 A1 sind ein Verfahren und eine Anord nung zum Verbessern des Ausnutzungsgrades von Telekommunika tionskanälen in örtlich konzentrierten, asynchronen, drahtlo sen Telekommunikationssystemen bekannt, bei dem bzw. bei der zur Vermeidung einer aufwendigen Synchronisation in jedem Te lekommunikationssystem für eine erste nach einer hybriden das FDMA-Prinzip enthaltenden Vielfachzugriffsmethode aufzubauen de Telekommunikationsverbindung einschließlich einer gegebe nenfalls vorgesehenen "Dummy-Bearer"-Telekommunikationsver bindung mit Priorität eine freie, noch nicht belegte FDMA- Frequenz belegt und jede weitere der ersten Telekommunikati onsverbindung nachfolgende Telekommunikationsverbindung ein schließlicher einer Handover-Telekommunikationsverbindung mit Priorität auf der gleichen FDMA-Frequenz aufgebaut wird.DE-196 08 183 A1 describes a method and an arrangement to improve the utilization of telecommunications tion channels in locally concentrated, asynchronous, wireless known telecommunications systems, at which to avoid complex synchronization in every Te communication system for a first after a hybrid that To build the multiple access method containing the FDMA principle de Telecommunications connection including a given one optionally provided "dummy bearer" telecommunication ver priority with a free, not yet occupied FDMA- Frequency occupied and every further one of the first telecommunications onsverbindung subsequent telecommunications connection finally a handover telecommunication connection with Priority is built on the same FDMA frequency.
After switching on a handset, it must first be Search for synchronization with a base station. To this Purpose, each base station sends a so-called dummy Bearer, which consists of the data of a time slot, where however in the B field, the main part of the data field (D field) no data is transmitted. To search for a dummy Bearer searches for the handset zy according to the prior art cliché in the entire frequency band for a base station, which also has a suitable identity (Radio Fixed Part Ides tification). With several suitable base stations tion, the one with the greatest field strength is selected, which based on the so-called RSSI value (Radio Signal Strength Indicator). The search is controlled via the Burst mode controller, which for a certain time, e.g. B. 40 ms with so-called "slow hopping" on a first fre sequence on even time slots and then on odd Searches for time slots for base stations. In contrast, the "Fast hopping" searched sequentially. Then the next one Frequency set and again, first on even and then odd time slots searched etc. If through no base was found after all 10 frequencies Different algorithms are activated, after which the search operation in certain periods, which may also be in the always get longer, is repeated.
In manchen Anwen dungen, z. The mean time to sync to fit one de Base station is currently for commercially available devices about 5 seconds, but this period can be under adverse conditions up to one minute. In some applications dung, e.g. B. in radio alarm sensors, where it is on high Bat battery life, thus particularly low power consumption comes, and which allow the handset (which is can also be a "permanently" installed device) going to turn off lead the long duration and the high Power consumption when synchronizing to an undesirable Reduction of battery life or, too rapid exhaustion an accumulator charge.
An object of the invention is to shorten the Synchronization time to avoid these disadvantages.
This task is carried out using a method of the type mentioned at the beginning Type solved, in which according to the invention after finding a appropriate carrier frequency and synchronization of these carriers frequency in a frequency memory of the handset is written, and after the connection is interrupted or a suitable dummy is switched on again Bearer first on the stored frequency, and only after an unsuccessful search on other frequencies.
The invention takes advantage of the fact that the channel, on which the dummy bearer of a base station is sent, is only changed if this is disturbed. Indeed Lich is the number of channel changes in normal use conditions on average only very low. Thanks to the invention after z. B. a meanwhile turned off the mobile sometimes when trying to synchronize again next targeted ge after the last stored frequency searches and only in the event of a failure a systematic search began. Are the switch-off times of the handset shorter than the alternating frequency of the dummy bearer channel, it will only rarely be the case. Ideally, the middle one Synchronization time to about a fifth of the previous who Reduce tes if 10 frequencies are available.
The synchronization time can be shortened further reach when the carrier frequencies in both the Mobiltei len as well as in the base stations in the same order ge are stored, with a base station at an er required change of the original carrier frequency, on which the dummy bearer was sent to the next one, in frequency stored in the frequency memory passes over, and on the part of the handset in the event of unsuccessful synchronization search on the original carrier frequency for a new one Attempt to synchronize also on the in the frequency memory of the handset next carrier frequency passed becomes.
As a result, the base station does not dial in, as is currently the case a necessary channel change for the dummy bearer, any, least disturbed channel, but it selects the next one in the frequency list (memory) Channel allowed due to its RSSI value. Since the mobile too part of the same frequency, the search for egg is omitted a frequency.
A further search time reduction is possible, if after Auf find a suitable carrier frequency and synchronization also the time slot number of the dummy bearer at a time slot memory of the handset is saved, and after Interruption of the connection or reactivation of the Handset a suitable dummy bearer first on the abge stored frequency searched for and after the first Synchronisa tion, the time slot number is taken from the time slot memory is and only after unsuccessful search for further frequencies be searched.
The method according to the invention is particularly useful advantageous in a DECT system.
The task is also with a mobile radio system Solved above type, in which according to the invention in the handset is provided with a frequency memory, and that Handset is set up after finding a suitable Neten carrier frequency and synchronization, this carrier fre frequency in the frequency memory, and after sub break the connection or switch on again suitable dummy bearer first on the saved Fre quenz and only after an unsuccessful search on other frequencies to search. As well as in the method according to the invention this results in a considerable shortening of the synchronisa tion time and thus an increase in battery life in the handset.
In an expedient variant it is provided that the Base stations contain a frequency memory, the carrier frequencies in the frequency memory of the handset and Frequency memory of the handsets in the same order are stored, the base station is set up to if the original carrier has to be changed frequency on which the dummy bearer was sent the next frequency stored in the frequency memory pass, and the handset is set up at he unsuccessful attempt at synchronization on the original Trä just for another synchronization attempt if the next one in the frequency memory of the handset To pass carrier frequency. This eliminates one Changing the frequency of the dummy bearer a longer frequency search.
To shorten or avoid the search for time slots it may be advisable to place the handset next to the Frequency memory also has a time slot memory and is set up after finding a suitable Trä frequency and synchronization also the time slot number in save the time slot memory, and after an interruption a suitable connection or switch on again Dummy Bearer first on the stored frequency to see below and after the first synchronization the time slot number always take from the time slot memory and only after it unsuccessful search to look for other frequencies.
The advantages of the invention come especially with a mobile radio system, which is a DECT system.

Referring to FIG. 1, a mobile radio system or a Schnurlostelefon-, for example a DECT-system, multiple functions Basissta FP1, FP2, FP3 and several mobile parts PP, of which only one is shown. As already mentioned, the word "mobile" should not rule out the fact that it is permanently installed devices, for example alarm systems, etc. Therefore, the handset PP in the example shown has an interface INT, via which a device, for. B. an alarm system ALA is connected. In FIG. 1, a frequency memory of the base stations FP1, FP2, FP3 is also designated by FMF.
Fig. 2 shows the basic structure of a mobile part PP, which contains an RF part HFT with an antenna ANT and a frequency synthesizer SYN, a burst mode controller BMC, a microcontroller MCR with a frequency scan FSC and a time slot scan SSC, with a frequency memory FMP and a time slot memory SSP, as well as a digital signal processor DSP, for processing for example of speech or other data. However, a signal processor can also be included in the software in the microcontroller and a synthesizer does not necessarily have to be present, but rather baseband processing is essential. In the general case, there is also a microphone MIC and an earphone LSP or loudspeaker and the interface INT already mentioned for connection to external devices. The data traffic within the handset runs via a bus BUS. Not shown are still further units familiar to the person skilled in the art, such as, for. B. a power supply unit, a keyboard and a display etc.
The mobile radio system works according to an FDMA / TDMA method, in particular according to the DECT system, with each base station FP1, FP2, FP3 sending out a dummy bearer DB as well as an identification RFPI ( FIG. 1). After switching on, the handset PP searches the individual carrier frequencies with the aid of a search algorithm, and the individual time slots within each carrier frequency, until a suitable dummy bearer is found. This is followed by synchronization and the radio transmission link is now ready for data transmission. The simplified flow diagram according to FIG. 3 shows a rough structure of the synchronization method according to the prior art. In this diagram, FP refers to a base station. The search algorithm shown in more detail on the right in FIG. 3 shows the scanning of the time slots and the advance provided for by a further frequency until a suitable frequency has been found. Not shown in this algorithm is the fact that the search is not of any length and, as has already been mentioned at the beginning, the search intervals are generally increased or the search is terminated.
In order to shorten the average search time, the Erfin now sees tion that the handset is set up after opening find a suitable carrier frequency and synchronization to write this carrier frequency into the frequency memory FMP ben and after interrupting the connection or new Switch on a suitable dummy bearer first on this stored frequency and only after unsuccessful Search on other frequencies to continue the search. This also goes from the simplified flow diagram from the last one Check box, after which the start frequency for a new one Find the stored frequency. If here from egg nem own FMP FM memory, this must be does not mean a physically separate memory. It is also possible, the frequency scanner or scanner after Auffin to read a suitable frequency at this point until the handset is switched on again next search begins, which ultimately saves this Frequency equals.
In a further development of the invention it is assumed that the base station does not, as has been the case up to now, select any, least disturbed channel. Rather, a frequency memory FMF is contained both in a base station FP1, FP2, FP3 and in a mobile part PP, and the frequencies available are stored in the same order in the frequency memories FMP of the mobile parts and in the frequency memory FMF of the base stations. If the base station has to make a change in the original carrier frequency on which the dummy bearer was transmitted, it now goes according to the invention to the next permitted frequency stored in the frequency memory FMF. If the handset PP has made an unsuccessful synchronization attempt on the carrier frequency that was originally present, the handset PP now also jumps to the next carrier frequency contained in the frequency memory FMP, on which a renewed synchronization attempt is made. As a rule, this attempt will lead to success and the synchronization time will be significantly reduced. A simplified flow chart for this method is shown in FIG. 5, from which it can be seen that the frequency change always takes place in order based on the stored list.
The synchronization time can be shortened further reach if in the handset PP next to the frequency spec cher FMP and a time slot memory SSP is provided and the handset is set up to find a ge suitable carrier frequency on which the dummy bearer DB ge is sent, and synchronization, including the time slot number, on which the dummy bearer was sent, in time store slot memory. After an, interruption of Connection or renewed switching on can then be used Neter dummy bearer initially on the stored frequency are searched for, if no change in the location of the Dummy Bearers was done, he synchronized immediately will give. After that, you can go straight to that in time slot memory SSP stored time slot number transferred be gone.
The invention has been described above in connection with a DECT-Sy stem described, with further, for the execution of the Er non-relevant details, such as B. the multiframe Synchronization, the utilization of the field strength measurements and the evaluation of the identification RFPI not explained in detail were. Details are known to the person skilled in the art or in the literature or standards mentioned at the beginning ben. It is also clear that the mobile radio system does not necessarily have to be a DECT system, provided that the basic structure with an FDMA / TDMA system, in which a Dummy bearer in a certain time slot of a certain one Carrier frequency is sent, is present.

A method for synchronizing a handset (PP) of a mobile radio system operating according to an FDMA / TDMA method, in which the handset searches for a carrier frequency emitted by a base station (FP) with a dummy bearer (DB) matching identity (RFPI) until synchronization with the base station or a time limit is reached, characterized in that
after finding a suitable carrier frequency and synchronization, this carrier frequency is written into a frequency memory (FMP) of the handset (PP),
and after interrupting the connection or switching on the handset again, a suitable dummy bearer (DB) is next to the stored frequency, and only after an unsuccessful search for other frequencies is sought.
