Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a steel fiber for reinforcing castable curing Materials according to the preamble of claim 1.
To increase the strength properties of pourable hardening materials such as For example, concrete or synthetic resins are often reinforcements made from other materials introduced into the hardening material. As a rule, the The tensile strength of the composite material formed in this way can be increased. The introduction of wire or wire is generally common in the processing of concrete rod-shaped monier iron. For certain applications (e.g. production of Floors of production halls or wall linings of a tunnel Shotcrete) also becomes the reinforcement material in the form of relatively small fibers admitted. These fibers have a length in the range of 20 to 60 mm, for example and a thickness on the order of 0.5 to 2 mm. As materials for the Fibers are usually used in steel materials. But it is also known for example to use plastic fibers. Essential for the quality of the Composite formed is an effective anchoring of the fiber material in the matrix of the base material. Because the tensile strength of the composite material increases and after a possible crack in the matrix material from Composite material still has to be subjected to tensile loads, it is essential that the resistance to pulling the fibers out of the Matrix material is as high as possible. For this purpose it is known, for example steel fibers with a shape deviating from the smooth cylindrical or prismatic shape generate by the fiber ends z. B. upset or kinked. So points For example, a steel fiber known from practice, which with a wire Round cross section is made, essentially over the axial length rectilinear shape, with the wire at the ends of the steel fiber each is curved away from the central axis of the steel fiber and parallel to the Central axis ends.
The production of a steel fiber is known from the generic DE 42 23 804 A1 a wire with a round cross-section known, which is in one embodiment in five adjoining sections extending along a longitudinal axis, with three partial areas rectilinear and two partial areas wavy within one common wave plane. The cross-sectional shape of the steel fiber perpendicular to the longitudinal axis is essentially constant in the rectilinear sections. The rectilinear sections are at both ends and in one Middle area of the steel fiber, so that the two wavy sections, the with respect to their waveform, an amplitude in the range of 2 to 3 times that in the Have the fiber plane measured (i.e. the wire diameter) with Distance from the ends are arranged.
When using wire to make steel fibers, the cross section is practically constant along the steel fiber even in the curved sections. The can with regard to the behavior of the steel fiber in terms of pulling out the matrix of the base material may be disadvantageous. Forms according to the fiber shape the embedding in the base material in a corresponding manner as a "channel" constant cross section. Therefore, such fibers can occasionally be found in undesirably pulled easily through the bends of the "channel". in the Attempt to pull this out results in a comparatively low work capacity out. To improve the pull-out properties are those according to DE 42 23 804 A1 produced steel fibers not only with wavy sections in the fiber course provided, but also have an additional Surface profiling in the form of notches across the wire axis. This gives the steel fiber is more firmly anchored in the concrete material. However, this has to be done are bought with corresponding notch effects that clearly show the strength can affect.
Ähnlich wie bei der Stahlfaserherstellung aus Draht bleibt der Querschnitt über die Faserlänge praktisch konstant.DE 34 35 850 A1 describes the production of steel fibers from a narrow one Sheet metal strip known, the thickness and width from the outset already the thickness and Corresponds to the width of the steel fibers, the individual steel fibers corresponding to theirs cut the desired length on the narrow faces. By In one embodiment, these fibers are bent at right angles to the sheet metal plane Provide ends with half-wave-like profiles. Similar to the Steel fiber production from wire, the cross section over the fiber length remains practical constant.
The object of the invention is a steel fiber of the generic type propose that ensures a good anchorage in the matrix material and a has high work capacity in the attempt to pull out, without this being special Measures for surface profiling are required.
Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der erfindungsgemäßen Stahlfaser ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen 2 bis 12.This object is achieved by a steel fiber with the Features of claim 1. Advantageous further developments of Steel fibers according to the invention result from subclaims 2 to 12.
In terms of its geometric shape, the steel fiber according to the invention has similarities the steel fiber described in the introduction from DE 42 23 804 A1, d. H. she owns a rectilinear middle part, on each of which there is a wavy one Sub-area connects, which in turn ends in a rectilinear end area. in the Difference to the production of. Mainly used in the prior art The invention envisages the use of steel fibers made of a wire-shaped material sheet-like primary material with a uniform thickness D from which the Steel fibers are cut out. The wave plane of the wavy Partial areas lie in the sheet level. The cutting of the steel fibers is done e.g. B. by punching, with the cut edges (i.e. the longitudinal edges of the fibers) in the The plane of the sheet is congruent with each other and over the axial length of the fibers are equally spaced from each other, so that in the sheet metal plane seen in the rectilinear sections gives a constant width B. Of the According to the invention, the straight central region has a length of at least 50%, preferably at least 60% and particularly preferably at least 70% of the axial fiber length L. The two wavy sections are according to the invention in each case to an axial length in the range from 7 to 17% of the Fiber length L limited. The undulating partial areas are thus considerably shorter than in the generic state of the art. The same applies to the rectilinear end regions which have an axial length in the range from 1 to 10%, preferably 3 to 8% of the fiber length L are limited.
Eine vorteilhafte Größe für die Breite B liegt im Bereich des 0,8- bis 1,5fachen der Dicke D.In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the axial length is provided of the wavy portion and the straight end portion on each side of the To limit steel fiber together to 10 to 20% of the fiber length L, so that the straight middle region makes up 60 to 80% of the fiber length L. The width B the steel fiber should expediently be of the order of the thickness D. An advantageous size for the width B is in the range of 0.8 to 1.5 times that Thickness D.
The amplitude lies in the undulating partial areas of the steel fiber According to the invention in the range of 0.25 to 3 times, preferably in the range of 0.5 to 1.5 times the width B. For the wavelength in the wavy Partial areas has a magnitude in the range of 5 to 15 times, proven to be expedient, preferably in the range of 8 to 10 times the width B. The wave-shaped sections should have a maximum of two wave peaks and a maximum of two wave valleys, preferably only one wave crest and one Have troughs. It can even be considered a half wave in individual cases be considered sufficient. The shape of the waves can e.g. B. be sinusoidal, can, however, also be designed in the sense of triangular waves, wherein Rounded corners are expediently provided in the triangle tips. If necessary, the amplitude can be varied within the undulating partial areas, so z. B. may be chosen to be increasing or decreasing towards the end.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of the figures. Show it:

Fig. 2 bis 4 Meßwerte von Ausziehversuchen unterschiedlicher Stahlfasern. Fig. 2 to 4 measurements of pull tests of different steel fibers.
In Fig. 1 a portion of a steel fiber according to the invention, the axial length is denoted by L. The steel fiber was produced from a sheet-like raw material by punching, the feed corresponding to the fiber width being set with B. The cut edges therefore run on the long sides of the fibers, which are congruent to one another. The rectilinear end region is designated by E, while the undulating partial region, which consists of a trough and a wave crest, has the length W. The sum of the lengths E and W are, for example, in the range of 15% of the total fiber length L. The wave amplitude is designated A and corresponds in size to z. B. the fiber width B. The right part of the steel fiber, not shown in FIG. 1, is a mirror image of the left end of the steel fiber shown. The type of fiber production (cutting from a sheet-like primary material) with congruent longitudinal edges ensures that the cross-section of the fiber remains constant over the fiber length L when viewed perpendicular to its central axis, in the undulating partial areas the cross-section is based on the (also undulating) ) However, the center line of the steel fiber is reduced. The cross section perpendicular to the center line does not have the width B in the undulating partial area, but rather the width b reduced in accordance with the angular relationships. This means that the channel in the matrix material in which the steel fiber is embedded has a corresponding reduction in cross section. This has considerable consequences on the pull-out behavior of the steel fiber. While in the case of a steel fiber made of wire-shaped primary material, the cross-sectional shape in the corrugated partial area corresponds practically to that in the straight partial areas, when using a fiber according to the invention there is a channel with a variable cross-sectional shape, which brings about greater resistance to pulling out the fiber. The straight end areas of the fibers have a positive effect on the processability of the fibers, since they facilitate the separation of the fibers when they are mixed into the matrix material and help to avoid the so-called hedgehog formation (interlocking of steel fibers).
The positive properties of the steel fibers according to the invention can be read from the test results in FIGS. 2 to 4, in which the results of tensile tests are reproduced in which individual steel fibers were pulled out of the embedding of a matrix material. The tension related to the fiber cross-section was applied in each case via the tension path. The train path was limited to 10 mm in all tests. Steel fibers of different shapes were used, each with a total length of 60 mm. The steel fibers were embedded in a divided matrix material in such a way that the plane of division of the matrix material in the middle of the steel fiber was perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the steel fiber. The test speed used in the pull-out tests was 4 mm / min.
Two different fiber shapes F 1 and F 2 of the type according to the invention were used, the end regions of which were designed in the form of the FIG. 1. The thickness (sheet thickness) of the fibers was D = 0.5 mm and the width B = 0.8 mm. The sheet material had a tensile strength of 950 N / mm 2 . The length of the rectilinear end region E and the undulating partial region W at the fiber ends was in each case approximately 1% and 8% of the fiber length L. While the amplitude in the undulating partial region for the fiber F 1 A = 0.2 mm, the amplitude was at the fiber F 2 is set to A = 0.4 mm.
A conventional fiber V used for comparison with the same fiber length L had a wire diameter of 0.8 mm, the steel material having a tensile strength of 1100 N / mm 2 . At both ends, this comparative fiber V was designed in such a way that about 4 mm before the fiber end there was a kink about 45 ° with respect to the longitudinal axis, followed by another kink by 45 ° in the opposite direction, so that the fiber in an approximately 2 mm long end piece was offset by 2 mm parallel to the fiber longitudinal axis.
The pull-out behavior of the comparison fiber V is shown in FIG. 2 as a solid line. It can be seen that the tensile stress initially rises steeply and reaches a maximum value after about 1 to 1.5 mm and then drops relatively sharply. The working capacity of the material combination of matrix material and steel fiber corresponds to the size of the area enclosed between the measured value curve and the axis of the train path. The steel fiber F 1 according to the invention with a wave amplitude of 0.2 mm showed an essentially similar course in the initial region of the measurement curve, although it did not quite reach the maximum value of the comparison fiber, but remained at considerably higher tension values over a larger distance of the tension path. This resulted in a much higher work capacity than the comparison fiber. The steel fiber F 2 according to the invention showed significantly better values, which not only exceeded the maximum value of the comparison fiber V, but also had significantly higher values over the entire remaining tensile range.
In FIGS. 3 and 4, the exhaust properties of the steel fibers according to the invention was investigated in different matrix materials. In Fig. 3 the results of fiber F 1 have been compared. The upper curve shows the behavior of the fiber F 1 from the experiment evaluated in FIG. 1, in which a relatively hard and tensile matrix material was used. The much lower lower curve shows the behavior in a much softer matrix material. The working capacity of this combination of materials is much less than that of the first. With a train path of 10 mm, both curves are at the same height.
In FIG. 4, the corresponding results have been shown for the two different matrix materials with the use of steel fiber F 2 of the invention. Here, too, the curve for the softer matrix material is clearly below the curve for the harder matrix material. However, the difference between the two curves is not as blatant as in the case of FIG. 3. This means that due to a larger wave amplitude, as was done in the case of fiber F 2 compared to F 1 , one with a relatively soft matrix material particularly significant improvement in train behavior can be achieved. With softer matrix materials, greater weight must be placed on an intensive anchoring of the fibers than with a comparatively hard matrix material. The tensile strength of the material used for fiber production is usually not the decisive factor for the good properties of a steel fiber. Of course, this tensile strength must always be above the value of the tensile strength of the matrix material. An anchoring of the steel fibers in the matrix material that is adapted to the hardness of the matrix material is crucially important for the quality of the composite of steel fibers and matrix material.
