Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an electromagnetically operated Actuator according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Actuators of the aforementioned type are preferably used for Solenoid valves used, in particular for slip-controlled motor vehicle brake systems are used. Such an electromagnetically actuated actuator is be Already known from DE 44 06 777 A1. This is inside one sleeve-shaped with brake fluid Housing guided with small running play, being for actuation of the valve closing member attached to the actuator Current coil is provided for electromagnetic excitation movement of the actuator from its original closed or open shift position moved to present in the present the brake pressure within a wheel brake con keep, increase or decrease.
This ensures that the valve closing element functions properly des and a sufficiently precise guidance of the actuator in sleeve-shaped housing, are correspondingly narrow tolerated clearance between the piston-shaped actuator gate and the sleeve-shaped housing. this leads to inevitably to the disadvantage that when the Ak tuators inevitably due to the low temperature conditions Viscosity increase of those in the area of the actuator Liquid unwanted switching delays can occur nen. Such temperatures are of particularly great influence dependent viscosity changes with regard to the ver use of mineral oils.
It is therefore the object of the invention to provide an electromagnetic table actuated actuator of the type mentioned above To design that with as little construction as possible functional effort and largely maintaining the ur original actuator in the wide temperature range as well the desired, using different fluids, receive constant switching characteristics of the actuator remains.
This object is invented for an electromagnetic table actuated actuator of the generic type with the characterizing features of claim 1 achieved. Further features and advantages of the invention are discussed in the following from the dependent claims as well as by the Be description of an embodiment.
The sole Fig. 1 an example of the structure of an actuator 1, which is guided as a piston-like component within a liquid loaded with actuators housing 2 with concentration relative small running clearance. The piston-shaped actuator 1 is assigned a current coil 3 , which moves the actuator 1 from its illustrated basic position in the case of electromagnetic excitation. In the present embodiment, for example, the actuator housing 2 is made of a thin sheet metal part, preferably by means of a deep-drawing process, and is designed in the upper end region in a lid or dome shape. This area also forms the stop for the one end position of the actuator 1 , on its end facing away from the dome area of the actuator housing 2 in the present exemplary embodiment a plunger-shaped valve closing member 9 is attached, which engages with its shaft a magnetic core 8 . Since both the valve closing member 9 and the magnetic core 8 are of secondary importance with regard to the described invention, those components are not shown in detail or even described. From Fig. 1 is rather evident that the kol benförmige actuator 1 is carried out with an extremely small radial play in sleeve-shaped actuator housing 2, which is a necessary in a reciprocating motion of the actuator 1 liquid exchange between the above and below of the actuator 1 located cavities in the actuator casings 2 predominantly via the liquid out compensation bores 10, which are likewise relatively small in scale when the actuator 1 is viewed within the actuator 1 . In the proposed construction of the actuator 1, this leads to an undesirably changed switching behavior as soon as a corresponding increase in viscosity of the liquid occurs in low-temperature operation. Therefore, the invention proposes heating the liquid 4 located in the actuator housing 2 by means of a heating element, which is surprisingly simple in the present exemplary embodiment from the current coil 3 which is inevitably provided for the electromagnetic actuation of the actuator 1 . However, the concept of solution presented here by way of example does not exclude the use of further, separate heating elements of a similar design and mode of operation instead of the current coil 3 shown in the illustration. However, in order to keep the structural and functional expenditure for actuating the actuator 1 as low as possible, the present exemplary embodiment is particularly advantageous because the current coil both for preheating the liquid 4 in the actuator housing 2 and for triggering the actual stroke movement of the actuator 1 can be used. The size of the temperature increase in the current coil 3 is realized by appropriate choice of the elec trical current and voltage size and with a correspondingly set heating-up duration of the current coil 3 , so that the liquid 4 in dependence on the thermal conductivity of the current coil 3 receiving Coil body 5 and the selected actuator housing 2 heated accordingly. For this purpose, the current coil 3 is arranged on a metallic coil bobbin 5 , which with its thin-walled outer surface rests against the likewise thin-walled outer surface of the metallic actuator housing 2 . A material consisting of preferably anodized aluminum is particularly suitable for the coil former 5 in the area of the contact surface with the actuator housing 2 (area of the metal core). The current coil 3 supporting bobbin 5 is of a present at the actuator casings 2, the bobbin 5 at least partially surrounding yoke ring housing defines 6, the rule for transmitting the Magnetflus ses and thus to magnetic circuit connection of a magneti material, preferably mild steel is made. In order to prevent undesired heat dissipation of the current coil 3, which acts as a heating element, in the direction of the yoke ring housing 6 and the actuator housing 2 and the metallic valve carrier part accommodating the magnetic core 8 underneath the current coil 3 , thermal insulators 7 are used on both sides of the end face the Spu lenkörpers 5 arranged plastic discs, which may be made of polyamide, positioned. As a result, the heat flow from the current coil 3 in the direction of the yoke ring housing 6 and the valve carrier part receiving the magnetic core 8 is deliberately interrupted.
The turn-on time of the current coil 3 for the purpose of heating the liquid is essentially determined by the winding temperature of the current coil 3 , which is measurable with regard to the heating of the liquid 4 , but with a fairly good mathematical approximation to the actual value when known the ambient temperature, the coil voltage and also with reference to the coil data known per se (ohmic resistance) and can be used to determine the on-time for heating the current coil 3 . The invention is not limited to the use of a direct current coil current for heating the liquid 4 , since heating the current coil 3 with alternating current as a result of the eddy currents thereby generated in the actuator 1 (magnet armature) enables the desired heating of the liquid 4 .
