Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des
Patentanspruchs 1.
Im Bereich der Inhalationsanästhesie wird in vielen Fällen mit einem
Lachgas-Sauerstoff-Gemisch gearbeitet, dem eine bestimmte Menge von
dampfförmigem Narkosemittel zugesetzt ist. Da bekannte Anästhesie-Be
atmungsgeräte im allgemeinen im sogenannten Überschußgas-Betrieb
arbeiten, bei welchem dem Atemkreislauf mehr Anästhesiegas zugeführt
wird als der Patient verbraucht, muß während des Geräteeinsatzes ein
bestimmtes Gasvolumen abgeleitet und über eine zentrale
Narkosegasabsauganlage entsorgt werden. Bei einer aus der
DE 42 08 521 A1 bekannten Aufbereitungsanlage für Anästhesiegas ist ein
Aktivkohlefilter als Adsorbens für Narkosemitteldampf vorgesehen, und das
Lachgas wird, da es von dem Aktivkohlefilter nicht gebunden wird, in einer
Katalysatorpatrone in Sauerstoff und Stickstoff zerlegt. Diese Methode der
Aufbereitung von Anästhesiegasen ist relativ aufwendig, da mindestens zwei
Reinigungsstufen notwendig sind.
Aus der EP 113 023 B1 ist bekannt, Lachgas mit einem Molekularsieb der
Porengröße zwischen 0,4 und 1 nm aus einem Wasserstoff-
Stickstoffmonoxyd-Gasgemisch zu entfernen.
Die Elimination von zwei Komponenten aus einem Gasgemisch, im
vorliegenden Fall Lachgas und Narkosemitteldampf, ist mit dem bekannten
Molekularsieb jedoch nur unzureichend möglich, da, je nach Porengröße,
immer nur eine der Komponenten ausreichend adsorbiert wird.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren zum gleichzeitigen
Entfernen von Lachgas und Narkosemitteldampf aus einer Gasprobe unter
Verwendung eines Molekularsiebes
anzugeben.
Die Lösung der Aufgabe erfolgt mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1.
Der Vorteil der Erfindung besteht im wesentlichen darin, daß durch
Verwendung eines Molekularsiebes mit unterschiedlichen, auf die zu
entfernenden Komponenten ausgelegten Adsorptionsbereichen, die
Abscheideleistung deutlich verbessert wird. Eine Molekularsiebanordnung,
bestehend aus einem Molekularsiebgemisch mit ersten Porengrößen
zwischen 0,3 nm und 0,5 nm und zweiten Porengrößen zwischen 0,8 nm
und 1 nm, ist zur Adsorption eines aus Narkosemitteldampf und Lachgas
bestehenden Gasgemisches besonders geeignet.
Das erfindungsgemäße Molekularsieb läßt sich besonders vorteilhaft am
Überschußgas-Auslaß eines Inhalationsnarkosegerätes zur Entfernung von
Lachgas und Narkosemitteldampf einsetzen. Eine weitere vorteilhafte
Verwendung des erfindungsgemäßen Molekularsiebes ist an Komponenten
des Narkosegerätes, welche von dem Anästhesiegas durchströmt werden
und an denen kurzzeitig, z. B. während Umschaltvorgängen, Anästhesiegas
entweicht. So kann z. B. an der Austrittsstelle eines Umschalters das
Anästhesiegas unmittelbar mittels eines patronenförmig ausgeführten
Molekularsiebes beseitigt werden, das dann in vorbestimmten Zeitintervallen
vom Service ausgetauscht wird.
Die Erfindung sei an einem Beispiel veranschaulicht:
6 g Molekularsiebgemisch der Porengröße 1 nm und 0,5 nm wurde mit ca. 10.000 ppm Halothan und ca. 10.000 ppm Lachgas (entspricht ca. 200 mg Halothan gasförmig und ca. 200 ml Lachgas gasförmig) beladen. Die Beladung des Molekularsiebes betrug etwa 19 ml gasförmiges Halothan (entspricht 50%) und 5 ml (entspricht 14%) Lachgas pro Gramm Molekularsieb. Die Regenerierung des Molekularsiebes erfolgte durch Ausheizen: vier Stunden bei 120°C.
6 g Molekularsiebgemisch der Porengröße 1 nm und 0,5 nm wurde mit ca. 10.000 ppm Halothan und ca. 10.000 ppm Lachgas (entspricht ca. 200 mg Halothan gasförmig und ca. 200 ml Lachgas gasförmig) beladen. Die Beladung des Molekularsiebes betrug etwa 19 ml gasförmiges Halothan (entspricht 50%) und 5 ml (entspricht 14%) Lachgas pro Gramm Molekularsieb. Die Regenerierung des Molekularsiebes erfolgte durch Ausheizen: vier Stunden bei 120°C.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt und in
folgenden näher erläutet.
Es zeigen:
Fig. 1 eine erste Molekularsiebanordnung,
Fig. 2 eine zweite Molekularsiebanordnung.
Fig. 1 zeigt schematisch eine erste Molekularsiebanordnung 1, welche von
einem Gaseinlaß 2 zu einem Gasauslaß 3 durchströmt wird. Die erste
Molekularsiebanordnung 1 besteht aus einem Molekularsiebgemisch mit
einer ersten Porengröße 4 zwischen 0,3 nm und 0,5 nm und einer zweiten
Porengröße 5 zwischen 0,8 nm und 1 nm.
Die unterschiedlichen Porengrößen 4, 5 sind in der Fig. 1 durch Kreise mit
größerem und kleinerem Radius veranschaulicht.
Fig. 2 zeigt schematisch eine zweite Molekularsiebanordnung 10. Gleiche
Komponenten sind mit gleichen Bezugsziffern der Fig. 1 bezeichnet.
Unterschiedlich gegenüber der Fig. 1 ist, daß Molekularsiebbestandteile mit
der ersten Porengröße 4 in einem ersten Molekularsieb-Bereich 6 und
Molekularsiebbestandteile mit der zweiten Porengröße 5 in einem zweiten
Molekularsieb-Bereich 7 zusammengefaßt sind. Die Durchströmung der
zweiten Molekularsiebanordnung 10 erfolgt in Richtung vom zweiten Bereich 7
in den ersten Bereich 6. Ein derart geschichteter Molekularsiebaufbau hat
den Vorteil, daß man am Gasauslaß 3 ein Gas mit hohem Reinheitsgrad
erhält.
Claims (2)
1. Verfahren zum gleichzeitigen Entfernen von Lachgas und
Narkosemitteldampf aus einer Gasprobe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
das Abgas eine Molekularsiebanordnung durchströmt, die aus einem
Gemisch aus Molekularsieben mit kleineren Porengrößen von 0,3 nm
bis 0,5 nm und größeren Porengrößen von 0,8 nm bis 1,0 nm besteht.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die
Molekularsiebbestandteile mit den kleineren Porengrößen und die
Molekularsiebbestandteile mit den größeren Porengrößen in jeweils
getrennten Molekularsieb-Bereichen zusammengefaßt sind, wobei das
Abgas zuerst den Molekularsieb-Bereich mit den größeren Poren und
dann den mit den kleineren Poren durchströmt.
