DE-A 12 60 135).Suitable such bi- or polyfunctional crosslinking monomers b 13 are monomers which preferably contain two, optionally also three or more, ethylenic double bonds which are capable of copolymerization and which are not conjugated in the 1,3 positions. Suitable crosslinking monomers are, for example, divinylbenzene, diallyl maleate, diallyl fumarate, diallyl phthalate, triallyl cyanurate, triallyl isocyanurate or triallyl isocyanurate. The acrylic acid ester of tricyclodecenyl alcohol has proven to be a particularly favorable crosslinking monomer (cf. DE-A 12 60 135).
Auch diese Art von Pfropfgrundlagen ist an sich bekannt und in der Literatur beschrieben, beispielsweise in der DE-A 31 49 358.This type of graft base is also known per se and in described in the literature, for example in DE-A 31 49 358.
Von den Pfropfauflagen b2 sind diejenigen bevorzugt, in denen b21 Styrol oder α-Methylstyrol bedeutet. Als bevorzugte Monomeren-Ge mische werden vor allem Styrol und Acrylnitril, α-Methylstyrol und Acrylnitril, Styrol, Acrylnitril und Methylmethacrylat, Styrol und Maleinsäureanhydrid eingesetzt. Die Pfropfauflagen sind erhältlich durch Copolymerisation der Komponenten b21 und b22.Of the graft pads b 2 , preference is given to those in which b 21 is styrene or α-methylstyrene. Styrene and acrylonitrile, α-methylstyrene and acrylonitrile, styrene, acrylonitrile and methyl methacrylate, styrene and maleic anhydride are used as preferred monomer mixtures. The grafting pads can be obtained by copolymerizing components b 21 and b 22 .
Für den Fall, daß das Pfropfpolymerisat B) eine Pfropfgrundlage b1 enthält, die aus Polybutadien aufgebaut ist, so spricht man von ABS-Kautschuken.In the event that the graft polymer B ) contains a graft base b 1 , which is composed of polybutadiene, one speaks of ABS rubbers.
The graft copolymerization, such as. B. known from DE-A 49 358, in solution, suspension or preferably in emulsion. In the preferred production of the ABS rubber and the grafting in emulsion, the soft phase of the graft copolymer has an average particle diameter (d 50 value of the integral mass distribution) of 50 to 180 nm. By enlarging the particles, e.g. B. by agglomeration or in the extraction of the emulsion by means of the seed latex method, the d 50 value can be set in the range from 200 to 500 nm. In the case of such graft copolymerizations, the polymerizing monomers are at least partially chemically linked to the already polymerized rubber, the link probably taking place on the double bonds contained in the rubber. At least some of the monomers are therefore grafted onto the rubber, that is to say bound to the rubber thread molecules by covalent bonds.
Die Pfropfung kann auch mehrstufig erfolgen, indem zuerst ein Teil der die Pfropfhülle bildenden Monomere aufgepfropft wird und anschließend der Rest. The grafting can also be done in several stages by first Part of the monomers forming the graft shell is grafted on and then the rest.
Ist die Pfropfgrundlage b1 der Pfropfpolymerisate B aus den Kom ponenten b11, gegebenenfalls b12 und b13 aufgebaut, so spricht man von ASA-Kautschuken. Ihre Herstellung ist an sich bekannt und beispielsweise in der DE-A 28 26 925, der DE-A 31 49 358 und der DE-A 34 14 118 beschrieben.If the graft base b 1 of the graft polymers B is composed of the components b 11 , optionally b 12 and b 13 , the term ASA rubbers is used. Their manufacture is known per se and is described, for example, in DE-A 28 26 925, DE-A 31 49 358 and DE-A 34 14 118.
Die Herstellung des Pfropfpolymerisats B) kann beispielsweise nach der in der DE-PS 12 60 135 beschriebenen Methode erfolgen. The graft polymer B) can be prepared, for example by the method described in DE-PS 12 60 135.
Der Aufbau der Pfropfauflage des Pfropfpolymerisats kann ein- oder zweistufig erfolgen. The structure of the graft of the graft polymer can be or in two stages.
Im Falle des einstufigen Aufbaues der Pfropfauflage wird ein Gemisch der Monomeren b21 und b22 in dem gewünschten Gew.-Verhält nis im Bereich von 99 : 5 bis 50 : 50, bevorzugt von 90 : 10 bis 65 : 35 in Gegenwart des Elastomeren b1, in an sich bekannter Weise (vgl. z. B. DE-OS 28 26 925), vorzugsweise in Emulsion, polymerisiert. In the case of the one-stage structure of the graft, a mixture of the monomers b 21 and b 22 in the desired weight ratio is in the range from 99: 5 to 50:50, preferably from 90:10 to 65:35 in the presence of the elastomer b 1 , polymerized in a manner known per se (cf., for example, DE-OS 28 26 925), preferably in emulsion.
Im Falle eines zweistufigen Aufbaus der Pfropfauflage b2 macht die erste Stufe im allgemeinen von 20 bis 70 Gew.-%, bevorzugt von 25 bis 50 Gew.-%, bezogen auf b2, aus. Zu ihrer Herstellung werden vorzugsweise nur monoethylenisch-ungesättigte aromatische Kohlen wasserstoffe b21 verwendet. In the case of a two-stage construction of the graft b 2 , the first stage generally makes up from 20 to 70% by weight, preferably from 25 to 50% by weight, based on b 2 . Only monoethylenically unsaturated aromatic carbons b 21 are preferably used for their production.
The second stage of the graft generally makes up 30 to 80% by weight, in particular 50 to 75% by weight, based in each case on b 2 . Mixtures of the monoethylenically unsaturated aromatic hydrocarbons b 21 and monoethylenically unsaturated monomers b 22 in the weight ratio b 21 / b 22 of generally 90:10 to 60:40, in particular 80:20 to 70:30, are used for their preparation.
Die Bedingungen der Pfropfcopolymerisation werden vorzugsweise so gewählt, daß Teilchengrößen von 50 bis 700 nm (d50-Wert d. integralen Massenverteilung) resultieren. Maßnahmen hierzu sind bekannt und z. B. in der DE-OS 28 26 925 beschrieben. The conditions of the graft copolymerization are preferably chosen so that particle sizes of 50 to 700 nm (d 50 value d. Integral mass distribution) result. Measures for this are known and z. B. described in DE-OS 28 26 925.
Durch das Saatlatex-Verfahren kann direkt eine grobteilige Kautschukdispersion hergestellt werden. With the seed latex process, a coarse particle size can be created Rubber dispersion can be produced.
Um möglichst zähe Produkte zu erzielen, ist es häufig von Vor teil, eine Mischung mindestens zweier Pfropfcopolymerisate mit unterschiedlicher Teilchengröße zu verwenden. To achieve products that are as tough as possible, it is often from before part, with a mixture of at least two graft copolymers different particle size to use.
Um dies zu erreichen, werden die Teilchen des Kautschuks in bekannter Weise, z. B. durch Agglomeration, vergrößert, so daß der Latex bimodal (50 bis 180 nm und 200 bis 700 nm) aufgebaut ist.To achieve this, the particles of the rubber are in known manner, e.g. B. by agglomeration, enlarged so that the latex is bimodal (50 to 180 nm and 200 to 700 nm) is.
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform wird eine Mischung aus zwei Pfropfpolymerisaten mit Teilchendurchmessern (d50-Wert der inte gralen Massenverteilung) von 50 bis 180 nm bzw. 200 bis 700 nm im Gewichtsverhältnis 70 : 30 bis 30 : 70 eingesetzt. In a preferred embodiment, a mixture of two graft polymers with particle diameters (d 50 value of the integral mass distribution) of 50 to 180 nm or 200 to 700 nm in a weight ratio of 70:30 to 30:70 is used.
Der chemische Aufbau der beiden Pfropfpolymerisate ist vorzugs weise derselbe, obwohl die Hülle des grobteiligen Pfropfpoly merisates insbesondere auch zweistufig aufgebaut werden kann. The chemical structure of the two graft polymers is preferred wise the same, although the shell of the coarse graft poly merisates in particular can also be built up in two stages.

Chem. 1978, 320, 1043-1046) oder Hexa chlorethan (T. Okawa, S. Eguchi, Synlett 1994, 555-556) einsetzt. For the production of iminophosphoranes, there are many established synthesis options can be used. Next the Staudinger method - the reaction of triphenylphosphine with an azide (Y.G. Gololobov et al., Tetrahedron 1981, 37, p. 437) - iminophosphoranes based on amines (T.W. Rave et al., J. Org. Chem. 1966, 31, p. 2894), amides (using Diethyl azodicarboxylate for activation and coupling with tri phenylphosphine; s. S. Bittner, J. Org. Chem. 1985, 50 p. 1712) and isoxazoles (e.g. from T.L. Lemke et al., J. Heterocycl. Chem. 1983, 20, p. 899). For α-amino heteroaromatics direct coupling with triphenylphosphine possible if one for activation, for example, carbon tetrachloride (J. Bödeker, P. Köckritz, J. Prakt. Chem. 1978, 320, 1043-1046) or Hexa chloroethane (T. Okawa, S. Eguchi, Synlett 1994, 555-556) is used.
Chem. 1994, 59, S. 2740).Using phosphorus dihalides such as triphenylphos phindibromide or triphenylphosphine dichloride, can, if necessary, in Presence of auxiliary bases, also iminophosphorane (see Molina et al. Heterocycles 1994, 37, 997-1018). The Synthesis of iminophosphoranes from primary amines using Ver use of trisubstituted phosphine as well as chlorine or bromine is described in DE 16 70 296. Another access was from Katritzky et al. by base treatment of 1- [α- (phosphorus anylidenamino) alkyl] benzotriazoles (J. Org. Chem. 1994, 59, p. 2740).
Iminophosphoranes are usually very reactive and therefore already react with most of the reactants very mild conditions, what u. a. also sensitivity to Moisture explained. Rather, it is possible to take the iminophosphoranes mentioned relatively large thermal load in the polymeric molding compositions to incorporate.

The mean particle size and the particle size distribution were determined from the integral mass distribution. The mean particle sizes are in all cases the weight average of the particle sizes, as they are using an analytical ultracentrifuge according to the method of W. Scholtan and H. Lange, Kolloid-Z. and Z.-Polymer 250 (1972), pages 782 to 796. The ultracentrifuge measurement provides the integral mass distribution of the particle diameter of a sample. From this it can be seen what percentage by weight of the particles have a diameter equal to or smaller than certain sizes. The average particle diameter, which is also referred to as the d 50 value of the integral mass distribution, is defined as the particle diameter at which 50% by weight of the particles have a smaller diameter than the diameter which corresponds to the d 50 value. Likewise, 50% by weight of the particles then have a larger diameter than the d 50 value. In addition to the d 50 value (average particle diameter), the d 10 and d 90 values resulting from the integral mass distribution are used to characterize the width of the particle size distribution of the rubber particles. The d 10 or d 90 value of the integral mass distribution is defined in accordance with the d 50 value with the difference that they are based on 10 or 90% by weight of the particles. The quotient Q = (d 90 -d 10 ) / d 50 represents a measure of the distribution width of the particle size.
Die mittleren Molekulargewichte (Gewichtsmittelwerte Mw) wurden jeweils durch Gelpermeationschromatographie gegen eine Polysty rol-Eichkurve bestimmt. The average molecular weights (weight average M w ) were each determined by gel permeation chromatography against a polystyrene calibration curve.
