Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a multiple passive infrared (PIR) Motion detector with specially designed optics and Partitioning system, suitable for individual and precise division of a room in different detection areas, for Exterior skin protection of rooms in intrusion detection systems or for reliable presence detection of people, the motion detector preferably under a ceiling, on a wall, in a wall or in Can be used outdoors.
It is known to use PIR motion detectors for indoor surveillance Intrusion detection systems to use. An unauthorized person enters the protected space and is through your own Emission of infrared heat rays detected by the detector. The Detector signal arrives amplified, evaluated and as Switching information processed to the alarm center. Then there an acoustic, visual or silent alarm is triggered.
It is also known to use PIR motion detectors in the Use house installation technology as presence detectors. These detectors are designed for surface or flush mounting and are used for Switching of lights, blinds, automatic Doors, gates or other applications. For example, enter one Person is in a room, it is detected by the motion detector. The Evaluation electronics in the motion detector switch with a relay or Semiconductor switch the lighting on. At the same time, a retriggerable monoflop (resettable timer) started and a preset time expires. With every recognizable movement the person is detected again and the timer is new started. So the lighting stays on as long as it stays on a person is in the room and moves.
In EP 0 080 114 A1 and US 4,745,284 there is one Arrangement of several individual sensor segments described on the one hand, due to their special design, an increased Has interference immunity to static heat radiation, on the other hand a moving heat source as dynamic heat radiation throughout Detection area detected.
Furthermore, from DE 41 00 536 A1, DE 87 05 013 U1 and DE 85 13 031 U1 partitions with diaphragm wings or Sliders known, which cover the detection range of the pyro sensors influence that the spatial detection on all sides more or can be less restricted.
Here will the pyro-sensitive component is protected from drafts to Reduce malfunctions or malfunctions.
A special fastening method of the Fresnel lens film is in DE 86 14 679 U1 proposed. The Fresnel film is here captively connected to the rest of the housing.
A disadvantage when using the well-known PIR motion detectors in Intrusion detection systems are located in the protected area No one is allowed to stop inside an object. Authorized persons such as residents, caretakers, Security guards or cleaning staff can use the detectors cannot be distinguished from potential burglars. The consequence is inevitably a false alarm.
Another disadvantage of known PIR motion detectors in the Home plumbing is seen using infrared detectors due to the system relatively insensitive to slow Human radiation changes react. That's enough for example the minimal movement of a person who is calm in sits in an armchair and reads the newspaper, often not to one Reactivate motion detector. The set The switch-off delay time therefore expires without being triggered again will. The result is a sudden and unwalled shutdown the lighting. This general problem can arise with Presence reports can be very disruptive. So it has to be done Possibilities are sought, the usual PIR motion detectors Modify to the extent that presence reports are also reliable be carried out.
It is the object of the invention to provide a PIR motion detector specify a variable setting option of Surveillance areas guaranteed without their overlap. This Task is performed by a PIR motion detector with the characteristics of the Claim 1 solved, further developments are in the Subclaims described.
There are at least two independent PIR motion detectors together in one housing or in an overall construction united. Viewed from the top view, each detector has a detection range of, for example, 360 degrees. Farther each detector has one, seen from the side view Detection range of 180 degrees, for example. The at least two Detectors are arranged close together. From the described The arrangement and the required detection areas result one for the shape of the housing and the Fresnel optics truncated or hemispherical geometry.
All of the at least two PIR motion detectors are Single Fresnel segments of Fresnel converging lenses (Fresnel optics) see above designed that every point in the absolute surveillance range of each PIR detector is detected separately with the same segment type. There are also certain PIR motion detectors Degrees of partitioning slats attached. This Slats are slidable and designed such that they Move part of the Fresnel single segments of the first PIR Motion detector cover and at the same time the same segment types of the second PIR motion detector. It never happens Overlaps of differently defined detection areas.
In addition, two further partition slats are slidable in front one of the partition lamellas already described arranged. These two lamellae together have the same length like the single lamella.
With a total of three partition slats per partial section can be pushed apart, stacked or pushed together all segments of an angular partial area of the first and second Isolate PIR motion detector at the same time or everyone Angled partial area individually in detection areas for the first and divide the second detector or into detection-free sub-areas. The output signals of the at least two PIR motion detectors are passed to a common evaluation logic.
For example, the PIR motion detector works as an alarm sensor for a skin protection in an intruder alarm system, the at least two output signals from the detectors and defined to block the alarm. All walls and interior doors of the monitor the room by moving the Slats only "seen" by alarm blocking segments.
Windows, exterior and Balkan doors are replaced by appropriate Moving the slats only "seen" by alarming segments. The evaluation logic is designed such that the temporal occurrence of the two signals via an alarm can be decided.
Another advantage results from the arrangement of the slats. Each partial angular area can be moved by partially moving the Lamella again individually in an alarm-blocking and alarm or detection-free area can be divided. In For example, the alarm area from reach from the ceiling to the windowsill. Between windowsill and The alarm blocking area would thus automatically arise in the middle of the room. This setting option is particularly important if below the window is, for example, a couch or a bed. A sleeping person could be due to the small movements temporarily not to be detected. The evaluation logic would get would be no or wrong signals and a false alarm inevitable.
With the help of total foreclosure of entire segment groups Problem areas such as open fireplaces, tiled stoves, Bird cages, pendulum clocks or other moving heat sources completely be hidden. This means that both the alarm and Incorrect switching of the alarm-blocking detector avoided.
Erst beim Verlassen des Klassenraums und Durchschreiten der Klassentür gibt der "Licht aus" definierte Bewegungsmelder seinen Impuls ab.If the PIR motion detector is used as a presence detector, for example for Switching the electric lighting, used, received the at least two detector signals the switching definition "light on" and "light off". Used, for example, in a classroom the slats are moved so that the class door only from Segments of the detector with "light seen from" definition "that the rest of the room, on the other hand, only from segments of the detector with "light on" Definition "seen". A programmed accordingly Evaluation logic now leaves the lighting switched on, even if the Students sit very calmly and are no longer detected. First when leaving the classroom and walking through the classroom door the "light off" defined motion detector emits its impulse.
Should the PIR motion detector act as a presence detector in the bedroom Switching light is, for example, the room and the area above Bed by correspondingly moving the slats for "light on" defined, for example, the area below a certain Height towards the bed and the door defined for "light off". Sleeping people can now move in bed without this Turn on the light. Do not penetrate until you sit down or get up the people the "light off" area below a certain height and activate the motion detector defined as "light on". The Light now stays on until people turn on again lie down or leave the room through the door.
Especially panicked children or people in need of care will quickly learn to appreciate such comfort technology. The entire detection area in rooms can just as well below a certain level by partial shifting the slats are sealed off. This makes pets like For example, dogs or cats are specifically hidden, people however clearly detected by their body height.
At this point it should be mentioned that the arrangement described the optics and bulkheads are not simply several Motion detectors in connection with a common evaluation logic corresponds. Because there are different overlaps defined monitoring areas, which is normal PIR motion detectors is not excluded, receives the Evaluation logic undefined double signals. Make these double signals an orderly, logical evaluation impossible. The one described An arrangement of optics and partitioning, however, enables one coordinated distribution of all involved Fresnel optics segments in different surveillance zones without an overlap.
It can happen that due to interference on the power line or by detecting random movements the light for no reason switches on. With this phenomenon, PIR motion detectors must be in the low Food range can be calculated at any time. The lighting would then infinitely long until a new random switching event stay on. As a remedy, according to further training proposed the invention, the evaluation logic with a To equip the safety timer which the light with longer Failure to switch off the signals automatically.
It is also proposed to switch off with another To delay the timer. Namely, should a person enter the room leave, the evaluation logic must receive the time to check there are other people in the room.
To adjust the slats during assembly suggested the middle of the PIR motion detector housing for example with a molded eyelet, a clamping device or equip a small spigot. The installer attached attached a cord and tensions it one after the other, for example the left frame sheet and on the right frame sheet one Entrance. Where the cord is the outer edge of the housing Crosses motion detector, intersections arise. Between these The slats, which are for the Angular partial area of the entrance door are responsible.
The vertical adjustment is best done by Try it out or walk test and postpone the appropriate Slat. Integrated indicators such as light emitting diodes different colors or acoustic alarms with different tones can make the adjustment of the slats much easier.
However, the following proposal is more elegant. All slats are included equipped with a fine scale, which in the Injection molding tools are engraved. Scaling is also conceivable using the tampo print process. Now the manufacturer of the PIR Motion detector in our own laboratory for all distances and desired heights the appropriate scale values and puts them in a table together. The table is then part of the Operating instructions or it is on the rear wall of the detector attached in the form of a tampo print or an adhesive label or engraved in the injection mold.
The mechanical structure of the PIR motion detector sees one Construction in sandwich construction, which the reproducibility and the assembly of the device is considerably easier. The Design of the mechanical components is such that the Manufactured in simple and slide-free injection molds can be done.
An outer housing shell, which with its all around longitudinal slots and guides two outer Half slats per angular section can accommodate. After insertion of all outer half lamellas is a second inner housing shell in introduced the outer shell of the housing. This inner shell, which is also equipped with longitudinal slots all around all outer half slats against the outer shell and leads the Additional slats again.
Now the inner slats are inserted. These are from one third lens shell pressed against the inner housing shell and also led additionally. The lens shell is out infrared-transmissive material and already carries on it Inside the specially calculated contours of all necessary Single Fresnel segments.
After the electronics, fixed via position pins, inserted the rear wall of the housing is installed. This is with the outer housing shell screwed tight. Special molded Spring tongues on the rear wall of the housing constantly press on the inside Housing shell as well as on the lens shell. This constant pressure is transferred to all internal partition slats as well as to all outer partition slats, so that these firmly to the Housing walls are pressed and without external force maintain their position. First the operation with one Screwdriver or fingernail overcomes the contact pressure Spring tongues and allows moving one or any many slats.
Of course, the guides and slats can also be used with small ones Indentations and noses should be designed so that the displacement of the Slats only at fixed intervals and locking.
Deckenplatte vorgesehen. Zur Installation wird die Wand- bzw. Deckenplatte am gewünschten Montageort angeschraubt. The rear wall of the housing has a breakthrough that prevents the exit of for example, three spring contacts. The spring contacts form the electrical connection with the inside Electronics. Furthermore, the back of the case is with a Bayonet-like closure construction. As a counterpart for the bayonet-like lock is a wall or ceiling plate intended. For installation, the wall or ceiling plate is on screwed on the desired mounting location.
Deckenplatte befinden. The assembly screws are no longer after the final assembly visible because molded screw channels are inside the wall or Ceiling plate.
In addition, the plate offers enough space for cable entries, Mains clamp, contact tongues as a counterpart for the above Spring contacts, as well as for the connecting wires.
For final assembly, the rest of the PIR motion detector is attached to the wall or Ceiling plate put on and through a quarter, for example Rotation attached. Additional molded spring pawls, which only through small service openings with a screwdriver or Can be unlocked, snap after mounting the PIR Motion detector and offer sufficient protection against theft or accidental opening.
The invention is described below with the aid of schematic drawings described in more detail.

Fig. 5 Eine Zusammenbauzeichnung des Mehrfach-PIR-Bewegungsmelders. Fig. 5 is an assembly drawing of the multiple PIR motion detector.
Fig. 1 shows a multiple-PIR motion detector 20, 60 in the plan view and in side view. The detection area 30 , 40 , 50 is, for example, 360 degrees in plan view and, for example, twice 90 degrees in side view.
FIG. 2 shows the Fresnel optics 1 with the inner partition plate 2 and the two outer partition plates 3 and 4 attached in front of it. When the partitioning lamellas are shown, the upper three areas of object 5 are detected by the upper detector. This makes the ray paths 6 drawn through visible. The lower two areas of object 7 are detected by the lower motion detector. This makes the dot-dashed beam paths 8 visible. The dashed, closed beam paths 9 show that each segment of the upper motion detector detects the same position on the object as the associated segment of the lower motion detector. With this method there is no overlap of areas 5 and 7, so that the at least two detector signals can be evaluated logically and separately from one another.
FIG. 3 shows a structure according to FIG. 2 with the outer partition blade 3 additionally displaced downwards. As a result, the lower region 7 is again partially partitioned off in region 10 . This is important in order to specifically hide pets such as cats or dogs.
Fig. 4 zeigt einen Aufbau gemäß Fig. 2. FIG. 4 shows a structure according to FIG. 2. The partition lamellae 2 , 3 , 4 are pulled apart for total partitioning, for example to hide problem areas such as open fireplaces, pendulum clocks or other moving heat sources. The ray paths 9 drawn in dashed lines do not come about as a result of the partitioning, but show in simplified form the relationship between Fresnel optics and object areas.
Fig. 5 zeigt den PIR-Bewegungsmelder in einer Zusammenbauzeichnung. Fig. 5 shows the PIR motion detector in an assembly drawing. The two outer partition plates 3 , 4 are inserted into the outer housing shell 101 . The inner housing shell 104 guides the partition plates 3 , 4 and serves to receive the inner partition plate 2 . The lens shell 106 guides the inner partition lamella 2 and also has the contours of all individual Fresnel segments 12 . The housing rear wall 107 holds the electronics 111 and is screwed to the outer housing shell 101 . Spring tongues 108 press permanently on the inner housing shell 104 and the lens shell 106 and cause a clamping effect on all inserted partition plates. The bayonet-like closure 109 connects the rear wall 107 to the wall or ceiling plate 100 .
