From the TELEFUNKEN newspaper, year 39 (1966), Booklet 1, pp. 121 to 122, is an arrangement for setting of a servo potentiometer of an analog computing device is known, in which the friction factors of the motor, Gearbox and servo potentiometer impair the setting accuracy. The loop reinforcement must be like this be set that at the smallest possible friction factor, a differential voltage that at a wire-wound potentiometer corresponds to half the winding voltage, e.g. B. 1 mV, the control loop not can become unstable. JOFurthermore, from US-PS 29 21247 one Positioning device for a servo system is known in which, due to a deviation from a nominal voltage two separate circuit complexes this deviation on the one hand as positive and on the other hand as negative signal is offered. In the circuit complexes are separated from each other from the positive and the negative error signal each square-wave pulses one of the size of the deviation dependent energy content generated. These pulses are then applied to the motor to be set, whereby the direction of rotation is ultimately derived from the relation of the square-wave pulses and the amount of rotation is derived from the difference between the pulse widths. Referring to Fig.3 (c) and (d) is thus in a by a Sawtooth generator specific periodic time interval the motor to be set by an amount corresponding to the width of the current pulses / 1 in a certain Direction rotated and then by one of the width of the current pulse / 2 corresponding Amount turned back in the opposite direction. It is easy to see that this is well known Arrangement due to the pendulum movement that the motor performs, not that for setting a servo potentiometer an analog computing device can achieve the required accuracy. None of the publications mentioned here is suitable, alone or in combination, as a servo potentiometer an analog computing device with a sufficiently high level of accuracy. It is therefore a task the invention to develop a circuit arrangement for adjusting a servo potentiometer, the sets this with sufficient accuracy and holds it at the value reached in each case until a new differential voltage appears brings about a change. In particular, it was an object of the invention to provide by To avoid the disadvantages and difficulties caused by friction losses.
The invention consists in that a pulse generator of the same time unipolar electrical pulses positive and negative polarity generated and a switching device are provided, which depends on the Output voltage of the computing amplifier by actuating switches a polarity-correct supply which causes pulses to the DC motor and when reaching a certain minimum value of the differential voltage interrupts the supply of pulses to the DC motor.
In an arrangement according to the invention, frictional forces of 2 to 15 cmp can occur; the Masseiiträgheitsmoment of the DC motor can be about 4 15.IO- cmp see 2, respectively. The pulses required for a sufficiently precise setting of the servo potentiometer have a saving amplitude of 3 V and a pulse length of at least 1 msec. These variables are chosen so that the DC motor can be readjusted until the differential voltage of a wire-wound potentiometer is equal to or less than a winding jump of the potentiometer. This corresponds to the required setting accuracy of a servo potentiometer in a ι, ί analog computing device.
Es zeigtThe invention is explained below with reference to the drawing. It shows
F i g. 1 ein Austührungsbeispiel,F i g. 1 an exemplary embodiment,
F i g. 2 ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel.F i g. 2 another embodiment.
In Fig. 1 shows a servo potentiometer i which is adjusted by a direct current motor 2; a setpoint generator 3, which is also designed as a potentiometer, is used to specify the value to be set on the servo potentiometer. During the setting process, the servo potentiometer ί is connected to a positive voltage source + U on the one hand and to ground on the other; the setpoint generator 3 is connected to a negative voltage source - U on the one hand, and to ground on the other. A negative voltage derived from the setpoint generator 3 and a positive voltage derived from the servo potentiometer 1 are fed to the input of a computing amplifier 4. A pulse generator 5 is connected to an output at which it supplies negative electrical pulses via a switch b to the motor and its other output, at which it supplies positive electrical pulses, is connected to the motor via a switch a. The switches a and b are contacts of two relays A and B, which are connected to the outputs of a switching device 6 implemented essentially by a comparator via diodes D 1 and D 2, respectively. The comparator is made up of two amplifiers 7 and 8 in a known manner. Two of its inputs are at a positive or a negative comparison voltage + AU or - AU, which define permissible setting errors. A third input is connected to the output of the computing amplifier 4. Because of the diode D 2 , current only flows through the relay coil B if the output voltage of the computer is more positive than the positive comparison voltage + AU, and because of the diode D 1, current only flows through the coil of the relay A if the output voltage of the computer is more negative than the negative equivalent voltage - AU. If the output voltage of the computing amplifier 4 lies between the values of + AU and -AU, then none of the relay coils A and f1 conducts current. The pulse generator 5 is designed so that the size of the pulses emitted depends on the level of the voltage supplied to a control input of the pulse generator; this control input is connected to the output of the computing amplifier 4 with the interposition of a circuit for forming the amount 9, which is constructed in a known manner from an inverting and a non-inverting amplifier and two diodes. If the voltage effective at the control input is high, the width of the pulses emitted is large; if the voltage effective at the control input is low, the width of the pulses emitted is small. The pulse generator 5 can advantageously be designed in such a way that, when the voltage effective at the control input exceeds a certain value, it emits a certain direct voltage or a certain direct current instead of pulses. The size of the smallest emitted pulse must be such that, taking into account the moments of inertia and the friction of the motor and servo potentiometer, the desired setting accuracy of the servo potentiometer is achieved. The output resistance of the pulse generator is relatively low, so that it acts as a short circuit for μ r rl ο η K ^ r »tr \ r

Reibungseinfluß auf den Drehwinkel des Motors verringert.Reduced the influence of friction on the angle of rotation of the motor.
As an example of a setting process, it is assumed that the differential voltage at the input of the computing amplifier 4 is positive and relatively large. Then the output voltage of the processing amplifier is negative and relay A picks up. Corresponding to the relatively large differential voltage, the pulse generator 5 emits a positive direct voltage which reaches the motor via the switch a and drives it at a constant speed in the sense of a reduction in the differential voltage at the computing amplifier 4. If the differential voltage has fallen below a certain value, the pulse generator emits pulses that still have a relatively long pulse length. As the differential voltage drops further, the length of the pulses becomes shorter, so that the motor 2 adjusts the servo potentiometer to the desired value in ever smaller steps. If the desired value is reached with sufficient accuracy, relay A drops out, which separates the pulse generator from the motor.
It is also within the scope of the invention to design the pulse generator 5 in FIG. 1 so that not the Pulse size as a function of the differential voltage effective at the input of the computing amplifier 4 is varied, but the pulse repetition frequency of the underlying pulses of constant energy content. In analogy to the exemplary embodiment described with reference to FIG. 1, in this case too Variant in the case of a relatively large differential voltage, first apply a direct voltage to motor 2 be effective. If the differential voltage has fallen below a predetermined value, the Pulse generator 5 with constant repetition frequency pulses of constant energy content. With further decline the differential voltage now decreases the pulse repetition frequency more and more, so that the motor 2 after always the servo potentiometer in constant steps to the desired one at longer time intervals Value adjusts. If this is reached, the corresponding to the activated output of the pulse generator 5 drops Relay off, whereby the motor 2 is separated from the pulse generator 5. The voltage values for the DC voltage and the energy-constant impulses are the same.
F i g. 2 zeigt eine der F i g. 1 ähnliche Anordnung. In contrast to FIG. 1 is the pulse generator 5 in FIG. 2 pulses of constant size. In order to nevertheless achieve a control speed that is dependent on the deviation between the setpoint and actual value, the output voltage of the computing amplifier 4 is fed to the motor 2 together with the pulses from the pulse generator. The output of the pulse generator 5, which supplies the negative pulses, is connected via a switch a \ to an input 12 of a summing amplifier 11 which is formed by a feedback, inverting computing amplifier 10 in a manner known per se; the output of the pulse generator, which supplies positive pulses, is connected to a further input 13 of the summing amplifier 11 via a switch b \,. The output of the computing amplifier 4 is connected on the one hand, as in Fig. 1, to an input of a sounding device, on the other hand via the parallel connection of two switches ; i2 and O 2 to a third input 14 of the summing amplifier 11. The output of the summing amplifier 11 is connected to the motor connected. The function of the arrangement of FIG. 2 is similar to that of FIG. 1. If the output voltage of the computing amplifier 4 is sufficiently negative, relay A picks up, as a result of which switches a 1 and 2 close. The negative pulses from the pulse generator 5 and the negative output voltage from the computing amplifier 4 are now at the input of the summing amplifier 11 and are added in the summing amplifier and fed to the motor. If the differential voltage at the input of the computing amplifier 4 has become sufficiently small, the relay A drops out, and both the pulse generator and the computing amplifier 4 are switched off by the summing amplifier 11. With this arrangement, the pulses from the pulse generator and the relatively large output voltage of the computing amplifier 4 are effective after their summation and possibly also amplification on the motor when there is a relatively large deviation between the setpoint and actual value Sum of the relatively small output voltage of the computing amplifier 4 and the pulses supplied to the motor.
Electronic switches can also be used in place of the relay switches described. It is also possible to provide several servo potentiometers (including the associated motors) and optionally one each to the described servo drive circuit (this is the servo drive without actuator and motor) to be connected; this can e.g. B. in dependence on a control program by mechanical and / or electronic switches. In this case too, each of the servo potentiometers will be in their friction values due to manufacturing variations or due to the origin of different manufacturers differ, adjusted with the described accuracy, if for this it is ensured that at the greatest friction that occurs, an adjustment is made and that at the smallest occurring friction the required smallest adjustment is not exceeded; the However, the setting speed may differ slightly.
