Abstract
Description
The invention is applicable to watercraft in connection with fin drives. Of the Fin drive is particularly environmentally friendly and can also be used as a sole drive Use auxiliary drive for motor and sailing boats. In the form of a watercraft The fin drive can be installed particularly effectively on catamarans. If you miss that Catamaran with an additional sailing device, so you can use the fin of the fin drive use as a sword.
There are several fin drives mainly known from class B 63 H, in which by means muscle powered fins a propulsive force is reached. Regarding the attachment of the fin on the watercraft or on the special drive mechanism are different Executions known. US Patent 10 06 118 relates to a mechanism with two Straight guides, each operating a fin. The mechanism has a lot of friction and Bearings subject to wear and therefore poor power transmission efficiency. The rotary impact is achieved by mechanical links. The flapping wing inertia control, Application DE 38 15 283 A1, assumes that an additional force is introduced, the supports the parallel rotation. The twist is limited elastically. The main claim refers to the feathers that keep the flapping wings in an unstable balance. That under US Patent 49 68 273 is based on the European patent 0 252 733 A1 and is of the same Inventor. In both patents, the force is from an elastic lever to the inherently inelastic one Fin transferred. In the published patent application DE 30 33 408 A1 an oscillating surface drive is described described, in which the wings also serve as a drive. These vibrating surfaces exist from hinge-like parts connected by a drive in wavy movements be transferred. The published patent application DE 34 04 473 A1 relates to a with a fin powered surfboard. The fin is operated from a standboard using a Push rod. The pivot point of the push rod is near the forehead of the fin and in Direction of movement in front of the pivot point of the fin on the surfboard. In a patent of the Inventor, file number P 42 12 920.6-22, fins are hinged to a frame. Of the The fin body itself is said to form an axis near its forehead. The angle of rotation of the axis should be limited by stops or by springs.
In comparison to all of the inventions mentioned, there are still improvements in utility value and efficiency possible.
A disadvantage with all fin drives is common that the fins are not special just have it removed and installed.
Furthermore, the flow can be around the fin and in the position of the fin to Improve hull still.
Another disadvantage is that the fin drives described are not Suitable for reversing.
The optional actuation of the fin drive in a seated position increases it Use value.
Driving on water is said to be even more fun by moving the frame to the watercraft is used as a drive for the movement of dummies.
If you provide the watercraft with a sailing device, it is an advantage if you have the Can use fin as a sword.
The aim of the invention for the points of criticism results from the criticism of the known prior art 1 to 6. The aim of points 1 and 2 is a muscle-powered boat drive with elastic Fins, in which the forces are converted into propulsive force with high efficiency. The The capacity of the people operating the fin drive varies. That's why different sized fins are required. The inventive idea relates how to use them with approximately the same external dimensions of the actuation intensity can adjust. It must also be ensured that they can be changed easily. It relates on the articulation and constructive design of fins, such as for power boats are used.
The aim of point 3 is to invent a particularly simple technical device in order to use the To be able to drive the fin drive in reverse.
The aim of point 4 is a possibility of sedentary actuation of the fin drive, which deals with the compare popular chair tilting in children.
The aim of point 5 is to increase the attractiveness of the fin drive.
The aim of point 6 is to use parts of the fin drive for stabilization, if that Watercraft is used by means of sailing equipment.
According to the invention, the object to points 1 and 2 is achieved by
- - daß die Kontur der Flosse der Kontur des Bootskörpers angepaßt ist,- that the contour of the fin is adapted to the contour of the hull,
- - daß die Steifigkeit der Flosse der Betätigungsintensität entspricht, - that the rigidity of the fin corresponds to the intensity of actuation,
That a specified ratio in the rigidity of the fin in the direction of flow to the rigidity of the Fin between the two webs is adhered to and
That the fin attachment to the webs of the frame favors the twist and to "Tying in" the fin is suitable.
Die Biegesteifigkeit der Flosse wird durch das Produkt aus Elastizitätsmodul E mal Flächenträgheitsmoment JThe fin works between two swimmers in the back of the boat. Due to the trapezoidal Adapting the fin to the widening space between the two swimmers becomes one wide working area. This has a favorable effect on the course of the flexural rigidity of the fin and on the guidance of the water masses accelerated by the fin drive. In the fin even a core sheet is inserted at the front onto which the fin is laminated. Are located on the core sheet notches in the distance between the webs, on the bottom of which cutting edges are worked on. The cutting form the axis of rotation and promote the rotational impact. The flexural rigidity of the fin is determined by the product of the modulus of elasticity E times the moment of inertia J
E * J [N * mm²]E * J [N * mm²]
definiert. Are defined. The flexural rigidity of the fin should be at least twice as high between the webs as in the direction of flow of the fin in the range 80 mm to 200 mm behind that through the Knife bearing formed axis of rotation. The stiffer the fin, the higher (J) respectively the individual layers of fiber reinforcement that are used in the Production of the fin between the cutting edges can be applied to the core sheet. The outer layers are decisive.
The coupling of the fin is solved in such a way that the bars are somewhat stiff enough are torsionally elastic and have cutouts with the counter contour of the cutting edge bearing in which the sheet metal of the fin core only fits in at the point where it has the notch with the cutting edge.
The solution to point 3 is that the vertical force instead of The front of the fin must be introduced at the end of the fin. When reversing, less is Efficiency is important for this, but less technical effort. Theoretically, a rod with is sufficient the up and down the fin end from the boat or the tread of the fin drive can move. Since a paddle is on board anyway, it can be hooked onto the Fin end take over the task of the rod.
Point 4 is solved according to the invention in that one opposite the tread of the Fin drive sliding seat is arranged. This allows you to sit in a sitting position shift his center of gravity forwards and backwards. By shifting the center of gravity there is a mutual moment around the one below the water surface Pole of movement of the fin drive.
The frame of the fin drive carries out a rotary movement with which you can move to point 5 according to the invention a part of a dummy otherwise firmly connected to the watercraft emotional.
According to the invention, point 6 is achieved by using the fin of the fin drive as a sword solved while sailing. The fin becomes vertical and so between the frame of the Fin drive and a float of the watercraft clamped that frame and Tread are firmly connected to the watercraft.

To Fig. 1 of the arranged between two floating bodies fin drive is illustrated. Fig. 1 above shows the top view in which the banks have been omitted for a better overview. Fig. 1 below shows a section in side view. The fin drive is attached to the floats via a frame 1 . The flexurally elastic bands 2 guide the frame 3 such that it can oscillate approximately around a pole which is formed by the direction of the flexurally elastic bands. It is under water and approximately at the level of the fin. The fin 5 articulated thereon is moved over the web 4 around the pole and thereby approximately in the vertical direction. The introduction of force follows from the tread surface 7 and from the handle 8 .
B. in der Schnittlinie C-D.A fin 5 is shown in plan view in FIG. 2. It shows the laminated core sheet 9 with the notches 10 at the two ends, on the basis of which the cutting edges are located and which in the assembled state come to rest in a corresponding bed on the web 4 . The straight line through both cutting edges forms the axis of rotation of the fin, which in FIG. 2 is located only a few millimeters behind the forehead 6 of the fin. Between the two cutting edges such. B. in section line AB, the bending stiffness, defined by the product E * J, should be at least twice as large as in the flow direction 80 to 200 mm behind the axis of rotation formed by the cutting edge bearings. In Fig. 2 z. B. in the cutting line CD.
Durch den Vortrieb legt sich die Schneide der Flosse im Bett des Steges drehbeweglich an.All details can also be seen in FIG. 2, as a result of which the fin can be installed quickly. You only have to twist the web ends slightly within the elastic rotatability inwards so that the notch 10 can be pushed forward into the bed of the web 4 . The web ends then spring back elastically and lie behind the edge 11 . Since the cutout in the web 4 is shorter than the core sheet 9 , a positive connection is created. Due to the propulsion, the cutting edge of the fin lies on the bed of the web so that it can rotate.
In Fig. 3 a watercraft with some other floats in the side view and in section and down in the plan view is shown on top. The arrangement of all individual parts of the fin drive in the starting position can be seen.
The fin drive is drawn out in FIG. 4. The end of the fin is grasped with a paddle with fin claws ( 12 ) and, as shown, can be actuated from the step surface. Operation is also possible from the float. With a little practice, you can also support the backward ride from the tread. The up and down movement of the fin must always be a little later from the step surface than from the claw of the paddle.
In Fig. 5, a displaceable via a coil spring seat 13 is displayed on the drawn out fin drive. The displaceability in relation to the tread surface can also be easily achieved with other means (air-filled cushion, roller bearing, tiltable support as with a milking stool).
In Fig. 6 a crocodile head connected to the floats is shown as a dummy, the lower jaw of which moves with the frame. In this picture, the frame with the webs, the fin and the lower jaw of the dummy are also indicated with dots in the end positions.
Fig. 7 shows the arrangement of the fin 5 , which is clamped between the frame 3 and the float and used as a sword. The two floats, fin and frame are firmly connected to each other so that you can stand stably on the tread. This makeshift sword is not in the middle of the boat. This watercraft is said to be primarily a fin boat. If the wind creates a larger counter current, then thanks to the fact that the fin can also be used as a sword, it is possible to reach your destination easily against wind and current by crossing.
