Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a ver drive to reduce the wear of rails for rail vehicles.
The wear of wheels and rails is a big pro for the operator of rail vehicles blem. Especially with city railways, which on Need to run track networks with tight bends is the up wall for the maintenance and renewal of wheels and rails very large. On the wheels, the wheel tires can be in agreed intervals in the workshops and reprofiled will be moved to their new geometric condition. rails however, if a certain size of the Ausfah is reached, for reasons of derailment security removed or replaced. For trams that is Renewal with high costs and large traffic problems connected. The wear itself is greatest understandable in curves. The tracking is especially there rail-bound vehicles only possible with lateral forces Lich, the wheels of the vehicle always to the center of the Reset track channel of the track. The wheel / rail Contact generates the necessary forces, when appropriate Training of the wheel and rail profiles from the wheel load and the inclination of the common contact surfaces of the wheel and rail. For optimal tracking, the Lateral forces proportional to the transverse deflection of the wheels from the middle of the track and steadily, d. H. without an abrupt change be generated. Tapered profiles meet this requirement not enough. When the wheelset in archery executives must transmit, he wanders with the flanged direction Rail. Despite this lateral shift, the contact remains point in the middle of the tread and leads in particular with small rounding radii suddenly appear tendency two-point contact. This leads to a big one Wear both on the side flanks of the rails, such as also on the wheel flange. To with heavy wear on the sides flank the rails with a renewal of the entire rail to avoid resp. postponing it will be the end ride with austenitic electrodes of types 1.4370 (18% chromium - 18% nickel - 6% manganese), 14% manganese - 3 % Nickel or 15% manganese - 15% chrome welded on and thus ver in their new geometrical condition puts. However, this welding cannot be carried out as often as desired be made. In addition, the austenitic basic structure of these welds despite hardening by cold welding Not pressure-resistant and tends to plastic Deformation. Essential with this Ma used today material is the high manganese content, which is due to its Lubrication effect the wear of the welded mate rials.
Modern track designed as a hollow profile wreaths with a corresponding slope and correspond the base radius cause that with increasing Querver when cornering, the point of contact over the Profile moves and therefore a cuddly touch of the Wheel flange start there. A sudden one second point contact as with the classic, above be written execution, here omits what a Reduction of total wear leads. In this but a point of contact of the new version nevertheless quite large forces on the life of the Significantly reduce the rail. A weld like her used in the previous profiles is in the modern design not advantageous because of the most claimed area at least partially in the for duction braking is essential area. Induction Braking is particularly common in rail vehicles. When using manganese-rich austenitic material in the area of induction braking, a disturbance of the Braking force occur.
Today are already partially in curves Rails with hardness over 300 Hb installed. With the spec fishing surface printing at wheel / rail contact, this hardness is sufficient, especially in very tight curves but not to avoid wear on the rail mine. Rails with even higher hardness would be next high production costs and other significant disadvantages (e.g. loss of weldability).
The aim of the present invention was half to provide rails with low strength, which is still good for example for tram companies are weldable, but they are most difficult to weld wanted point in the curve, namely in the outer radius of the rail head are practically wear-free.
This goal was achieved by applying of steel with a hardness of 40-50 HRc.
