Description
The invention relates to a heat shield, in particular for space reentry body which is composed of insulating tiles, each consist of several layers of insulation, with one Outer skin made of fiber-reinforced ceramic and a foot plate that as a support structure or attachment serves a supporting structure of the re-entry body. In addition, the heat shield is used in fire fighting, in the event of a disaster, e.g. B. on Fire fighting, rescue or clearing vehicles, or whole generally intended in the industrial sector.
The invention also relates to a method for Manufacture of an outer skin made of fiber-reinforced Kera Mik for insulating tiles of such heat shields.
As part of a Europe-wide project for the geflü re-entry body HERMES became a thermal Protection System (TPS) developed, according to the The objective is the maximum permissible temperature in the Area of the supporting structure should be below 170 ° C, assuming that the surfaces temperature in the areas with the greatest heat load on reentry up to 1,700 ° C can. This fulfills these requirements according to TPS Taken into account that the heat shield made of insulating is composed of tiles, which are several insulating have layers and their base plates on one separate insulation laid on the supporting structure lay on and with the support structure of the re entry body are connected. These well-known Insulating tiles have an outer skin made of fiber reinforced ceramic, consisting of carbon fibers in a silicon carbide matrix. Such fiber reinforced Ceramics are particularly characterized by their high temperature resistance with high strength and Density out. The insulating tiles are made using metal Fixing elements on the supporting structure attached; around a closed surface of the Creating re-entry bodies will be special Expansion gap seals, also made of ceramic material, in the assembly and thermal expansion gaps between the Insulated tiles installed. The famous thermal Protection System (TPS) is in FR 2657675 described.
Because of the additional insulation layer between the Tiles and the supporting structure, this insulating layer also the fastening elements of the insulating tiles encloses, there is a complex structure of the Systems with correspondingly complex assembly. in the Area of additional insulation between the Insulated tiles and the supporting structure can be found under the Burdens of re-entry to incalculable Leakage currents come.
In contrast, the present invention Task based on one composed of insulating tiles to develop a set heat shield, which at out adequate thermal protection a good aerodynamic Adaptation possible for space reentry bodies light that is easier to manufacture and fix can be and which in itself is a high Deformation stability against heat and aerodynamic Has forces so that it is a closed, against Leakage currents and undercurrent insensitive shell forms. This object is achieved by claims 1 and 21 solved. Advantageous embodiments are shown in described the subclaims.
A first proposal to solve the above task sees a heat shield of the type mentioned before that the outer skin of the insulating tiles on their Is provided on the inside with thorns, which after a selectable coarse grids are distributed. It is expedient that the thorns like the outer skin fiber-reinforced ceramic.
Such spikes, which have the shape of columnar fort sentences, preferably with a point at the free end, have, serve the aerodynamic load the outer skin evenly on the inside of the insulation remove tiles and the insulating tiles as a whole stiffen without doing the necessary Elasticity is lost.
The mandrels are preferred with their respective Fastening end molded onto the outer skin from which Outer skin molded or inserted into the outer skin forms so that their integral connection with the Outer skin is guaranteed. An equivalent Connection can alternatively also be achieved in that the mandrels are prefabricated with a widened base that are laminated to the outer skin and / or gluing or by molding and / or Sticking to its inside is connected.
The mandrels become their stiffening and supporting function best justified by the fact that they cross the Insulating tiles are extended, preferably to the extent that their tips or their free ends in the footplate the insulating tiles are attached. In this way creates a stiffened component, especially the Do not thorn the force introduced through the outer skin only to the insulation immediately below ablate layers but are able to their tips anchored in the footplate compressive forces from the outer skin directly into the footplate carry.
A particularly even distribution of forces in the The interior of the insulating tiles can be achieved in that the mandrels run parallel to one another, preferably approximately perpendicular to the outer skin. But it is also a oblique course of the spikes to the outer skin conceivable, e.g. B. in adaptation to the shape of the supporting structure of the Re-entry body.
The mandrels are preferably dimensioned so that you Diameter in the range of their cylindrical lengths section about the wall thickness of the outer skin corresponds.
With regard to the distribution of the mandrels, it can be useful be moderate that their average grid spacing are large properly about the thickness of the insulating tiles corresponds.
The insulation is between the outer skin and the base plate tile with one or more other insulation layers filled. It is possible with one single insulating layer made of a ceramic fiber get along matte.
For the strength of the insulating tiles it is essential that the spikes of the outer skin additionally can support inside, e.g. B. by going into a load-bearing insulating layer are integrated or before moves by being supported against the footplate are. Such a base plate is advantageous from a closed inner skin with on it glued honeycomb layer open perpendicular to it, each made of metal or fiber-reinforced plastic. A particularly good stiffening is achieved in that the tips of the spikes penetrate into the honeycomb layer, where they are in an insulating compound with which the honeycomb layer is filled, firmly integrated. There with the insulation is not yet tied during assembly has, it is appropriate to go to the open side of the Honeycomb layer one according to the grid of thorns Stick on perforated cover skin. This cover skin prevents the liquid insulation from penetrating mass in the insulating layer above and also increases the stiffness of the insulating tiles. An insulating compound based on silicone is preferred or phenolic resin base used. The cover skin is there preferably made of metal or fiber reinforced Plastic. In addition to that between the outer skin and foot plate inserted primary insulation made of ceramic The honeycomb layer with its filling forms fiber mats advantageous secondary insulation.
Depending on the manufacturing process chosen Spikes made of solid material or as a columnar hollow body in question. It is with regard to the course of the ceramic fibers stiffening the mandrels note that the grain of the spines in the is oriented substantially parallel to the mandrel axis; a tubular arrangement of the Ceramic fibers by being formed into tubes braided threads concentrically around the mandrel axis be placed. Using such hoses is one particularly simple manufacture achievable.
Another way to make the mandrels is that on a rectangular wrap body bundles of threads are wrapped. After that it will Manufactured square tube after partial curing in Split lengthways and crossways. The so produced U-shaped temples are attached individually or shoulder Shoulder placed on the inside of the outer skin and by additional between the thorns (feet) laminate strips laid crosswise with the outer skin connected.
The insulating tile according to the invention is thus only composed of a few layers and has one relatively small thickness; therefore it is good to process or the surface of the support structure adapt; due to its simple structure, it is with to produce little effort. There are various dene, described in more detail below variants to consider, not just what the Production of the entire insulating tile concerns but also for the manufacture of the outer skin on the one hand and the footplate on the other.
Regarding the joining of the outer skin and foot the thorns of the outer skin, as above described, either in the still liquid or tough liquid insulating compound of the honeycomb layer pressed in and be cured with it; another Possibility is to have the footplate separated to manufacture and to provide blind holes, in which inserted the spikes with their tips and fixed there by conventional adhesive bonding will.
By the achieved within the framework of the above suggestions particularly high strength of the base plate is sufficient when laying the tiles to form the Heat shields to watch out for tight mounting gaps with conventional sealants against undercurrents can be closed. Requirement of it is, that the footplates due to the insulating effect of the insulation layer above remain cool, so that the thermal expansion to be taken into account is low. The foot plates can be used with conventional Fasteners connected to the support structure become, without the need for a additional sealing between the footplates and to provide the support structure. The supporting structure can therefore from a simplified, open, just by the attachment points represented frame or Truss structure exist, which in turn on the shell of the re-entry body itself can support flat.
Another way of merging The outer skin and base plate is between these parts a stable insulating layer, e.g. B. Ablation insulation material based on phenolic resin, too use, preferably in the grid of thorns conical openings are incorporated, the Spikes with wedges and / or by gluing with the load-bearing insulating material connected with the base plate is glued conventionally. In the manufacture of the insulation according to the invention Tiling is the production of those with thorns Outer skin of particular importance because of the outer skin not just for temperature resistance and that The strength of the insulating tiles is crucial but also the manufacturing costs significantly co-determined.
According to the manufacturing method according to the invention the outer skin made of fiber-reinforced ceramic for the Insulated tiles mentioned is provided that after any rough grid essentially cylin round or rectangular mandrels, also made of fiber reinforced ceramic, on the inside of the outer skin produced by laminating fiber structures and / or be attached. As a result, the spines can be one partly from fibers in the form of filaments, Yarns and / or semi-finished products such as hoses built up and molded together with the outer skin, possibly between be hardened and finally hardened. The Thorns can also be used as prefabricated hardened units in the manufacture of the outer skin be embedded and involved in this, whereby different types of storage are used.
According to the method of the invention provided that according to the diameter of the Spikes multiple fiber structures in concentric Layers are deposited around the respective mandrel axis. It can be generated in different ways Fiber structures such as fiber associations from Parallel to the mandrel axis or braided to form tubes Threads are deposited alternately.
An expedient procedural step is that each fiber structure is made up of threads and by Placing their thread ends between flat laminates the outer skin at least within a ring area is anchored around the mandrel axis. After dropping the Thread ends on a flat laminate of the outer skin then a next laminate is preferred placed and pressed on. After each application one or more laminates with in between ordered the anchoring of a fiber structure serving threads, can be an intermediate hardening through be performed.
The structure of the fiber structure can be within the method according to the invention in different ways respectively. One possibility is that a columnar fiber structure by winding threads around a shaped rod and anchoring the thread ends between flat laminates of the outer skin is generated. Before here comes the cross-winding of the threads around the Form rod in question, with increasing structure of the Outer skin further winding layers are created.
Another possibility is that a columnar fiber structure by depositing threads parallel to the mandrel axis and anchoring the thread ends is generated between flat laminates of the outer skin. The threads can also be on a shaped rod be filed; but you can also go to one of the Column shape corresponding hollow form filed or without Support with a shape to form a bundle of threads parallel threads are built. While in the last mentioned case a solid material arbor arises, arise in the two aforementioned cases Fiber structures in the form of hollow columns.
Another way of making one columnar fiber structure finally exists in that this by dropping one of threads braided hose concentric to the mandrel axis and anchoring a goblet-like extended fastener end between flat laminates of the outer skin is produced. Here too you will see the fiber structure in usually consisting of several nested Build up braided hoses until the desired one Wall thickness of the mandrels is reached.
In the execution of the winding technology to generate a columnar fiber structure is according to the invention provided that several on a flat mold plate Shaped bars depending on the chosen grid for the mandrels are attached, around which the threads by means of a Thread guide of a winding machine, that several such fiber structures each between successively deposited flat lamina ten of the outer skin that the Form plate with the mold rods is removed and that the holes formed by the shaped bars in the Outer skin by placing one or more levels Laminates on the outside of the outer skin be closed.
A method according to the invention for generating a Fiber structure from parallel threads is that on a flat mold plate several mold rods depending on the chosen grid for the mandrels are attached to which deposited the threads parallel to the mandrel axis be that several such fiber structures each between successively stored flat lami nate of the outer skin that the Form plate with the mold rods is removed and that the holes formed by the shaped bars in the Outer skin by placing one or more levels Laminates on the outside of the outer skin be closed.
Individual threads can have one end in one Opening made in the free end of a molding rod and fixed there by clamps, the other ends of the parallel to the shaped rod Threads with radial deflection on a flat laminate the outer skin.
For the construction of fiber structures from braided Tubing is provided according to the invention that a flat mold plate several mold rods depending on the selected grid for the mandrels are attached to which are each a hose braided from threads is postponed that several such fibers structures between consecutively laid flat laminates of the outer skin anchored that the mold plate with the mold rods is removed and that the gebil by the shaped bars holes in the outer skin by placing one or several flat laminates on the outside later side of the outer skin.
Influencing can increase the strength the course of the fibers in such a way that pull the hose on after pulling it on its free end when the attachment is held end is stretched so that before hardening steeper fiber angle is generated.
For the production of columnar fiber structures a bundle of parallel threads is invented suggested that the flat laminates of the outer skin placed on a perforated plate and that between superimposed laminate threads are deposited, the individually or in a loop through holes in the Perforated plate are guided downwards so that whose length below the perforated plate is at least Corresponds to mandrel length.
In designing this procedure, the Invention further before that the threads by means of a Sewing needle of a sewing machine in the hole areas the laminates that have already been deposited are threaded through be so that thread on both sides of the laminates loops arise that the upper thread loops be placed on a laminate and that the lower Thread loops in a thread catcher close together be anchored to each other so that they join together columnar fiber structure for a mandrel form that Intermediate curing laminates and fiber structure be subjected to and that on the fiber structure at least one braided hose made of threads is pushed, its gabled fastening end by at least one other flat laminate on the Inside of the outer skin is covered.
When building a bundle of threads using the sewing method it is appropriate that the columnar fiber structure-forming threads first that of the column core forming, then in the radial direction to the outside following threads or thread loops are deposited.
While when threading after the sewing process the flat laminates of the outer skin also in the area of Holes of the perforated plate can go through, because the Sewing needle is able to pass through the flat Punching laminates through is another Process for building the fiber structure according to the Grid of thorns perforated laminates of the outer skin used. One such method is that the flat laminates of the outer skin on a form plate that corresponds to the grid of thorns and the cross section of which has openings on which the back of the mold plate is slightly conical connect running hollow parts, put down, that the area of the hollow molded parts covering the Punching laminates before or after putting them down is removed that the the fiber structure for the Threads forming threads against the wall of the hollow form divided over their scope in several Layers are deposited and that the fiber structure by a press moving into the hollow molded part stamp and subsequent curing is formed.
To deposit the threads is according to the invention provided that the threads forming the fiber structure as a grinding by means of a in the hollow molded part moving retraction die stored in the hollow molded part will.
Only after the finished shaping, if necessary after a Intermediate hardening of the deposited threads and laminates provided as a further embodiment that on the Outside of the outer skin after generation of the mandrels forming columnar fiber structure at least one further, the cavities in the moldings formed fiber structure covering flat laminate is filed.
This also with a mold plate and hollow mold shared working procedures, it may be appropriate that on the columnar fiber forming a thorn structure made in the hollow form is pushed on a hose braided from threads is, whose gabled fastening end by at least one more laminate on the inside the outer skin is covered. The braided one Hose as the outer layer forming the spike particularly advantageous because he the individual Column-forming parallel threads in an ideal Summarized way and thus the thorn additionally stiffened against lateral forces; moreover lends one outer tube layer the mandrel a particularly smooth Surface which is piercing the underneath insulation layer to be attached.
A variant of the method according to the invention finally consists in the fact that the thorn columnar fiber structures with a goblet-like widened fastening ends are prefabricated, with which you move between successive levels Laminates of the outer skin inserted in their position fixed by a mold and by curing the lami be attached. Even with this procedure the use of a perforated plate expediently by then one or more flat laminates of the Outer skin are deposited, after which the laminates be punched according to the hole pattern so that the prefabricated mandrels with the tip down can be put through. Only after that more unperforated laminates over the goblet-like widened fastening end of the mandrels deposited, if necessary after an intermediate hardening found.
The ceramic tile according to the invention with thorns occupied outer skin, the thorns inside the Tile make a decisive contribution to their Bracing is with a small wall strength of its outer skin realizable. The thorns act in the manner of a multi-point support and therefore enable a material-saving Ausge design of the insulating tiles. Because of the thin walls the tiles become thermo at the same time reduced mechanical stresses, d. H. the shape The durability of the tiles is improved.
Overall, the tiles show a level warmth approach and enable passage accordingly an economical use of materials low calculation and test effort in the Phase of development. Through the free design leave the possibility of the outer skin and the footplate the insulating tiles match any desired segment adjust the adjustment. As a result of the tight closure of the No closed support structure is required such. Rather, a frame or subject is sufficient work-like supporting structure, which the necessary Offers attachment points.

Fig. 1 shows a portion of an insulating tile 1 , which is composed of an outer skin 2 with thorns 3 , which are integrally formed on the outer skin 2 , an insulating layer 4 and a base plate 5th The insulating layer 4 is impaled on the mandrels 3 and lies with its lower side on a thin cover skin 6 , which closes the base plate 5 at the top. The cover skin 6 is perforated according to the grid of the mandrels 3 , so that their tips can penetrate the base plate 5 . The base plate 5 in turn consists of an inner skin 7 onto which a honeycomb layer 8 with honeycombs open perpendicular to the inner skin is glued or laminated.
Because of the high temperatures to which the insulating tile 1 is exposed when it re-enters, a material for the outer skin 2 with the spikes 3 , preferably a fiber-reinforced silicon carbide matrix, is suitable, carbon fibers being particularly suitable as the fiber material. The insulating layer 4 preferably consists of a ceramic fiber mat, for example of oxide ceramic fibers. The insulating layer 4 assumes the function of primary insulation. A secondary insulation results from the fact that the honeycomb layer 8 is filled with an insulating compound 9 , preferably based on silicone, into which the tips of the mandrels 3 are integrated.
B. verschraubt. The footplate 5 , which is exposed to a significantly lower thermal load compared to the outer skin 2 - the mean outer skin temperature at reentry is approximately 1,300 ° C, while the mean temperature of the footplate is less than 200 ° C - is in a conventional manner with In Fig. 1, not shown supporting structure of the re-entry body connected, for. B. screwed.
The insulating tile is in accordance with the structure described above rigid in itself, but limited torsional ability, so that it adapts to slightly curved portions of the support structure of the re-entry body in the course of their attachment. The insulating tile 1 can also be produced in segments of any shape, which also improves the freedom of design for the heat shield. Individual fastening points are sufficient for fastening the base plate 5 to a supporting structure, ie the supporting structure does not have to be closed; rather, a frame-like or truss-like supporting structure is sufficient, which can deviate from the inner shell of the re-entry body.
The lateral outline of the insulating tile 1 is mechanically easy to edit, so that tight mounting gaps between the insulating tiles can be achieved, which can be sealed with conventional high-temperature resistant sealants such as oxide ceramic fibers. The side contour of the insulating tiles 1 can be trimmed depending on the selected gap seal, z. B. flush with the outer skin 2 and base plate 5 or with the protruding insulating layer 4 to increase the sealing pressure.
In the manufacture of the insulating tile 1 , the prefabricated outer skin 2 is pressed onto the insulating layer 4 with the thorns 3 first until the tips of the thorns 3 emerge on the inside of the insulating layer 4 . This assembly is then placed on the base plate 5 , the honeycomb layer 8 has been poured or filled with an insulating compound 9 before covering it with the cover skin 6 . The tips of the mandrels 3 penetrate into the not yet hardened insulating compound 9 and are fixed there until they have hardened. The cover skin 6 prevents the still liquid insulating compound 9 from penetrating into the insulating layer 4 designed as a fiber mat.
As an alternative to this method of production, the base plate 5 can also be prefabricated with appropriate blind holes for conventional adhesive bonding of the ends of the thorns.
An idea of the dimensions of the insulating tiles is obtained by evaluating the illustration according to FIG. 1 with a scale as drawn up to a magnification of twice.
For the manufacture of the outer skin 1 provided with thorns 3 , several variants come into consideration.
FIG. 2 shows an insulating tile in cross section with a load-bearing insulating material 42 , which has conical openings 46 for the spikes 3 . The mandrels 3 are fastened therein with wedges 43 which are supported on the one hand on the thorns 3 which thicken inward for self-securing, on the other hand are held by the load-bearing insulating material and are preferably glued to the insulating material for additional securing.
According to FIGS . 3 to 7, the mandrels 3 consist of an inner structure of threads 10 made of carbon fibers laid parallel to the mandrel axis and an outer structure consisting of the like fibers of threads braided into tubes 11 . As an alternative to the inner structure of parallel threads 10 , this can also consist of a thread winding 12 , the manufacture of which is shown by means of a thread guide 13 of a winding machine (not shown) in FIG. 5. The thread winding 12 is applied to a shaped rod 14 , which is fastened on a flat shaped plate 15 . Instead of the shaped rod 14 in FIG. 5, an inner structure made of parallel threads 10 according to FIG. 3 can also take place, which is deposited around a correspondingly thinner shaped rod 14 .
In the interest of a clear graphic representation is here and in all subsequent figures refrains from entering the contours of the matrix; rather, it should be enough, the respective configuration based on a representation of the threads Describe fiber structures. As above already stated, are preferred in the present case Carbon fibers processed in the form of threads or hoses braided from threads and like every specialist in plastics technology, by filling, brushing, dipping or other Processing with a matrix of a laminate processable hardenable material are treated. Because of the extremely high loads at very high A matrix is preferably suitable for temperatures Silicon carbide, which, for example, by deposition the gas phase around the fibers, fiber structures or Threads is created around.
According to Fig. 4 shows how initially flat laminates 16 are deposited on the mold plate 15 by means of a perforated pressure plate 18. Through the holes of the pressure plate 18 moving against the mold plate 15 , the molded bars 14 firmly connected to the mold plate 15 pass through. The latter have at their free end a thin rod-shaped extension set 19 , on which a removable tip 20 is inserted, with which the laminates 16 are pierced.
As can be seen in FIG. 3, after the two first laminates have been laid down, 16 threads 10 are laid in a first layer around the shaped bar 14 , after which further laminates and thread layers are alternately deposited until finally the third layer of threads is covered with laminates, the outer skin is built up with increasing thickness on the mold plate 15 . The threads 10 end within a region around the shaped rod 10 , that is to say they generally do not run continuously between the flat laminates 16 . However, it is conceivable to let the threads run between one or more shaped rods 14 , depending on which manufacturing process is used to deposit the threads. After the laying process has ended, the laminate cures; if appropriate, one or more intermediate curing stages can be switched on before final curing.
When using a shaped rod 14 , a mandrel in the form of a hollow column is initially created. After removing the mold plate with the mold rods, one or more outer laminate cover layers, which form the outside of the outer skin, are therefore deposited on the lowest laminates 16 in FIG. 3, so that the outer skin is closed to the outside.
When winding of the yarn 12 in FIG. 5 should be ensured, by means of the programmable thread guide 13 that the thread angle w in the range of the base is large as possible, so that the finished winding is mecha nically higher loads. Such a winding of threads 12 is shown in FIG. 6 with its fastening end on a flat laminate 16 . After the application of a matrix and intermediate hardening, a tightly braided hose 11 is drawn over the winding, which, as can be seen in FIG. 7, is widened like a goblet at its lower fastening end. Through the upper flat laminate layer 16 shown in FIG. 7, both the flared end of the hose 11 and the thread ends 21 of the thread winding 12 are then covered and fixed.
Fig. 3 und 4) verbunden. FIG. 8 shows the structure of a mandrel by creating a column-like fiber structure, which is formed by laying down a hose 11 braided from threads, which is pulled over a shaped rod 14 . The shaped rod 14 is firmly connected to a shaped plate 15 (see FIGS . 3 and 4). Before the hose 11 is drawn onto the molding rod 14 , one or more flat laminates 16 are placed on the molding plate 15 . Thereafter, the tube 11 is pushed down on the molding rod 14 , with its lower fastening end being flared at 22 . The goblet threads enable the integral binding of the hose 11 between the lower laminates 16 and further laminates 16 , as shown in illustration III at about 2/3 the height of the shaped rod 14 . In order to be able to pull the following laminates 16 better over the molding rod 14 already provided with a tube 11 , a tip 20 is placed on the extension 19 of the molding rod 14 , with which the still moist laminates 16 are pierced. In the illustration IV, the following laminates are already deposited on the first laminates, the flared end of the hose 11 lying between the laminates 16 being firmly embedded, so that a permanent connection is ensured after curing. Before setting, it is convenient to stretch the tube by pulling its top end up while holding its gagged end. This stretching results in steeper fiber angles, which, as already described in relation to FIG. 5, means an improvement in the strength of the column structure comprising the later mandrel from one or more such tubes. As in the presen- tations I to IV of Fig. 8, several hoses can be drawn one above the other on the shaped rod 14 , depending on the wall thickness that the column structure forming the later mandrel should receive.
Fig. 9 with reference shows of five consecutive images I to V the structure of a column-like mandrel of different fiber structures, namely by forming a first fiber structure (to the mandrel axis parallel threads (diagrams I-III), and then by covering a tube 11 of braided yarns representations IV and V). According to illustration I, a hollow shaped rod 14 is used, on the upper opening of which a funnel 23 is placed. Relieved by this funnel 23 , threads 10 are inserted from above into the interior of the shaped rod 14 and finally deflected bell-shaped downward, so that the threads 10 with their ends underneath a lower fastening region around the shaped rod 14 on the laminate 16 underneath lie on. The threads 10 are then clamped by inserting a tip 20 , the downward-pointing neck 24 of which penetrates into the upper opening of the shaping rod 14 . Thereafter, further flat laminates 16 are pulled down over the threads 10 , the threads 10 lying parallel to the molding bar 14 and being fastened with their ends placed on the lower laminates 16 between successive laminates. A hose 11 made of braided threads is then slipped over the inner fiber structure made of parallel threads 10 as shown in illustration IV and fastened in a manner as described in FIG. 8 by further laminates 16 . After removing the tip 20 , the upper ends of the threads 10 inserted into the interior of the molding rod are pulled out by means of a hook-like tool 25 (illustration IV) and then cut off (illustration V). After the matrix has been applied and hardened accordingly, solid, thorn-like column structures emerge on the later inside of the outer skin of the later insulating tile. Again, it should be added that, depending on the desired thickness of the outer skin and the mandrels, a suitable number of flat laminates 16 , column structures of parallel threads and tubes 11 are alternately stored.
Fig. 10 shows the structure of the outer skin with thorns in the form of prefabricated U-shaped brackets 44 placed on the outer skin and with laminate strips 45 applied crosswise between the thorns, so that a firm fiber composite is produced. The laminate strips 45 are placed under different angles, preferably 0, 90, +45, -45 degrees between the mandrels to meet the demands. Here, too, one or more hoses can be placed over the columnar spikes to improve the strength.
Figs. 11 to 13 show a further method for preparing an inner pillar structure of paral Lelen yarns to construct a mandrel, the outer skin of the Isolierkachel. Here, flat laminates 16 forming the outer skin are placed on a perforated plate 26 . In each case after deposition of one or more flat laminates 16, which cover the holes 27 of the perforated plate 26, a thread 10 such engraved downwards by means of an embodiment shown in Fig. 12 hollow needle 28 of a sewing machine, not shown, in that on the underside of the perforated plate it 26 in a z. B. made of rubber yarn catch plate 29 is held in its turning point and held by clamping; in this way, a lower thread loop 30 is first formed on the underside of the perforated plate; after the withdrawal of the hollow needle 28 onto the upper side of the laminates 16 , an upper thread loop 31 is formed there, which is put down on the laminates 16 by folding over and covered by subsequent laminates and integrated therein. A column structure consists of a selectable number of lower thread loops 30 , it being advisable to build up the column-like fiber structure according to arrow F from the inside to the outside in such a way that first the threads forming the column core and then the radially outward following threads are deposited. While the hollow needle sticks straight down in the left representation of FIG. 12 in order to produce a second thread loop 30 , this has already happened in the right representation and the hollow needle 28 moves up again.
FIG. 11 shows a finished column structure composed of lower thread loops 30 for the construction of a mandrel with a full cross-section, since here an internal form rod is used. After each layer of flat laminates 16 , a plurality of thread loops 30 , each distributed in the circumference, are pierced and integrated with their upper thread loops 31 between successive laminates 16 . In this way, the column core is built in a ring from the inside to the outside. At the end, one or more outer laminates 16 , which form the later surface of the outer skin 2 , are deposited, as shown in FIG. 11. After the inner core of the later mandrels has been produced from lower thread loops 30 , a hose 11 made of braided threads is expediently slipped over to smooth the outer mandrel structure and covered with further laminates, as shown in the two illustrations in FIG. 13.
It is desirable that before the tube is slid 11, takes place after the structure of the inner core of columns to the mandrel axis parallel lower thread loops 30, an intermediate curing. The final hardening takes place only after it has been attached and anchored by means of a gelled end between two successive laminates 16 .
Figs. 14 to 18 show a further method for the construction of an inner fiber structure of parallel threads to the mandrel axis 10, which plate in successive layers inside of the hollow molded parts of a mold 32 are placed 15 °. The filing of the threads 10 takes place with laminates 16 deposited one after the other from the outside inwards, it being necessary to imagine that the loops, again distributed in a ring over the circumference of a hollow molded part 32 , are deposited. Only the outer laminates 16 are unperforated. All inner laminates 16 are punched in the region of the hollow molded parts 32 after being placed on the mold plate 15 .
Fig. 15 shows the drawing of the filaments 10 in the hollow mold parts 32 by means of suitable draw-33rd According to the shape of the hollow molded parts 32 , the mandrels 33 are also slightly conical and have at their lower end a thread guide surface, by means of which the thread 10 is pulled down in a loop. While this is happening, the thread 10 is z. B. clamped at arrow P to ensure its correct position. After a first layer of thread loops has been deposited between a first and a second layer of flat laminates 16 , a second layer of thread loops etc. is deposited, as shown in FIG. 16. After two layers of thread loops have been deposited, intermediate hardening can take place as shown in FIG. 17, parts 32 being inserted into the interior of the hollow mold 32, a holding mandrel 34 is inserted. A vacuum film 35 is pressed onto a third layer of flat laminates 16 for intermediate curing in order to ensure an intimate connection between the individual laminates. After creating the column structure according to FIG. 17, if necessary after supplementing this column structure by additional layers of threads 10 and flat laminates 16 with repeated intermediate hardening, it is expedient to smooth the later shape of the mandrels in such a way that the thread structure is made of parallel threads 10 tubes 11 are made of braided threads, as shown in Fig. 18 and explained in more detail for the above-described sewing method in connection with Fig. 13.
Finally, according to FIGS. 19 to 21, a method for fastening prefabricated mandrels is described, which consist of column-like fiber structures 36 with fastening ends 37 widened in the manner of a goblet. After one or more first flat laminates 16 have been deposited on a mold block 38 according to illustration I of FIG. 21, these laminates 16 are perforated by means of a punch 40 (illustration II, FIG. 21); thereupon, prefabricated mandrels 36 are inserted into the bores 39 (illustration III, FIG. 21) and fastened by further laminates 16 , as can be seen in FIG. 19.
Referring to FIG. 20, the preforming of the mandrels is advantageously carried out with the aid of the form rods 14 with Spread terter base 41, through which drawn one or more hoses 11 of braided yarns are provided with matrix and cured. In Fig. 20, the covering with two hoses 11 is shown in three successive representations, the fastening ends of which are flared over the base 41 , after which the hoses are stretched before curing in order to achieve a steeper fiber angle. In this way, mandrels 36 are formed with a hollow column structure, as shown in cross section in FIG. 19.
