Abstract
Description
The invention relates to both a system and a method for Energiege winnung, in the self-generated steam or exhaust steam from a thermal power plant in condensed to a certain height and the position energy of the condensate is used.
Methods are already known which use the cooling water heat enable thermal power plants (cogeneration, Hortitherm). But there is none that can generate energy from the waste steam from a thermal power plant. In addition, power plants that work according to claim 1 are still completely un known.
In 1993, the public electricity supply in the FRG generated the electricity over 95% in thermal power plants. All thermal power plants need heat lower around the heated cooling water, which removes the heat of vaporization to cool down. This can be done either by cooling with fresh water or also achieve through a cooling tower operation. Most of it generated useless energy in the form of heat, which in itself is not harmful to the environment released to the environment. Therefore evaporates in direct river water cooling, a large mass of water in hybrid or wet cooling tower operation. Through the Evaporation of up to several 100 l of water per second becomes one Lots of environmental damage. First of all, this water vapor causes a regional climate change of 1-2 ° C, secondly undesirable low strikes, thirdly, fog and black ice can form, and fourthly can visually disturb the cooling tower swaths in certain weather conditions. It can also happen with fresh water cooling that the heat Power plant in its power must be reduced to at low tide excessive warming of the river water, which causes considerable ecological damage could prevent. In addition to these disadvantages, the process operation as well as the recooling operation, the fresh river water very carefully mecha niche (inlet rakes, belt sieves) before it passes through the condensers can be used to condense the steam in water.
The invented system, the so-called condensate power plant, which works according to the process the energy generation according to claim 2 works, and therefore only for wet cooling towers and possibly also for hybrid cooling towers prevents all of the above-mentioned eco logical damage that would result from water vapor and can Thermal power plant largely independent of water, with water again and again must be fed into the cooling circuit, since a small amount of steam always with the air can escape into the atmosphere, and thus a complete condensation sation of water vapor makes impossible. It also benefits of condensate for cooling an elaborate cleaning of the river water liquid and also the condensate power plant can also without any damage emissions, i.e. completely environmentally friendly, produce electrical energy. In an example installation of the condensate power plant on the 140 m high cooling tower of the power plant in Swabia (EVS) in Heilbronn, through which around 330 l are evaporated per second, could be at an almost complete condensation of the steam additional 400 kW per be reduced. I.e. with a utilization time of 4000 h and one through Average household consumption of 3000 kWh per year could theoretically about 550 households are supplied with electricity.
However, the cooling compartments of the condensate power plant will naturally slightly inhibited draft, causing a slight cooling deterioration of the cooling water results. You can prevent this effect by using the Cooling tower increased and thus an increase in the fume cupboard achieved. Through the cooling Subsequently, the deduction is inhibited and reduced to the normal deduction. In addition, an additional cooling by mixing cold Kon densat and warm cooling water reached.

Fig. 1.1 das Kondensatkraftwerk auf einem Kühlturm, Fig. 1.1, the condensate power plant on a cooling tower,
Fig. 1.2 einen schematischen Querschnitt durch den Kondensator. FIG. 1.2 is a schematic cross section through the capacitor.
The condensate power plant is mounted in FIG. 1 on both Upper end of a cooling tower 1, and is constructed as follows. The condenser 2 consists of a series of circular cooling compartments 3 arranged one behind the other, which are surrounded by a jacket 4 . The distance and the number of cooling compartments 3 depends on the amount of steam. Ie, with a larger amount of steam, the Ab from and the number increases. The first cooling compartment 3 has a kink in the middle so that the condensate accumulated on the underside can also drain off and is arranged in such a way that a free column, the so-called vapor extraction column 5, gives the cooling compartment 3 around, through which the steam which has not yet condensed can escape can. The next cooling compartment 3 consists of two halves, which are arranged obliquely and in the middle of the cooling compartment 3 is a hole, the so-called. Steam extraction hole 6 , through which the water can withdraw steam. The first cooling compartments 3 must be arranged obliquely and the steam extraction gaps or holes ( 5, 6 ) must first be larger and then smaller, so that no steam accumulation, which would result in a deterioration in the cooling of the cooling water, arises. The following cooling compartments are arranged horizontally and alternately have their steam extraction hole 6 in the middle and the steam extraction gap 5 on the edge. In addition, everyone above the first cooling compartment 3 has a large number of small drainage holes, which firstly allow the condensate to drain off and secondly distribute the cooling water so that a wide contact area of steam and cooling water is achieved. At the top cooling compartment 3 is a sprinkler system 8 , which sprays cooling water. The cooling water is taken through a cooling line 9 from the condensate basin 10 in the bottom of the condenser 2 . With the condensate pool 10 , a pressure pipe 11 is the verbun that goes perpendicular to the foot of the cooling tower 1 . At the lower end of the pressure tube 11 is a free jet or Pelton turbine 12 and a generator 13 connected to it. Finally, the pressure pipe 11 opens into the cooling tower basin 14 . The approximately 30 ° C warm cooling water is sprayed in cooling tower 1 at a height of between 10 and 20 meters. 1% of the cooling water evaporates, rises, and cold air flows in from below. The steam now reaches the condenser 2 and hits the first cooling compartment 3 . A part of the steam condenses, the rest flows through the steam extraction gaps 5 at the edge of the cooling compartment 3 and meets the next cooling compartment 3 , which is arranged at an angle. Again the steam partially condenses and passes through the steam exhaust hole 6 to the next cooling compartment. the cooling is firstly increased by the trickling down of the condensate and by the spraying of cooling water through the trickling system 8 , since the heat capacity of water is 3200 times greater than that of air. Water can absorb 3200 times as much as air, but heats up as much as it does. That is why water has around 25 times higher thermal conductivity than air. The condenser 2 is constructed so that both the cooling water and the condensate collect completely in the condensate basin 10 . From there, a small part is pumped through the cooling line 9 to the trickling system 8 . The rest flows into the pressure pipe 11 and ends up at a high speed from a nozzle. This first converts the positional energy of the water into kinetic energy. The water jet then hits the blades of a free jet or Pelton turbine 12 and sets the turbine wheel in fast rotation. The water is braked to a standstill. It releases its kinetic energy almost completely. A generator 13 is connected to the turbine 12 and converts the kinetic energy into electrical energy. Of course, a different use of the positional energy of the water is also possible. After the water has left the turbine, it collects in the cooling tower basin 14 . This distilled water can be fed back into the cooling circuit, since this eliminates the need for complex mechanical cleaning of the river water.
The condensate power plant on a cooling tower is one application the condensate power plant was conceived as an independent power plant. This condensate power plant that according to the process of energy production Claim 1 works, is especially for emerging and developing countries like Angola, Namibia, South Africa, Mocambique, Somalia and Ethiopia the average annual solar radiation here is 2200 kWh / m². To these countries are located directly on the sea and their coasts mostly consist of Mountains such as B. in South Africa the Drakenberge, or are at least hilly. The are three important location factors for optimal condensate operation power plant, but in the absence of these factors, the power plant electricity to produce.
The main problem with environmentally friendly power plants, only water power plants, is the storage of energy. Therefore, they are dependent on the weather power plants are unusable for the development of agriculture and industry. The only solution is the condensate power plant, because of the reservoir Location energy can be stored in the long term without loss of energy. That can the best accumulator is not. For this reason, this is not the exception here Energy balance is crucial. But apart from that, the Ver steaming desalinated huge amounts of seawater, cleaned and closed groundwater in addition, all bacteria die at temperatures between 100 and 500 ° C from. I.e. the condensate power plant could cover large areas of land and the population supply with water. In addition, the condensate power plant can have about 100 kW, that of course depends on the dimensioning, produce. Except The condensate power plant is ideal for Ent due to its primitive design developing countries. It would also be linked to a solar thermal power plant possible. Because the steam at a solar thermal power plant after leaving the Turbine must be condensed, this could be the condensate power plant and still generate energy that it could store.

The condensate power plant consists of the cylindrical parabolic solar collector gates, from the cooling pipe with the condenser, the reservoir and the power plant. The solar panels heat the sea water. The water is now in the Evaporation area sprayed where a large part evaporates. The rest flows in the catch basin. The steam rises in the cooling pipe and hits the cooling compartments of the capacitor. There the steam is condensed and then flows through the Pressure pipe in the reservoir. The condensate drives the cooling water pump at. The pump supplies the condenser with cooling water so that the steam is better can condense. The water flows from the reservoir through a pressure pipe to Power plant. There the position energy of the water is converted into electrical energy. After that, the water gets into the drinking water basin, where a regulating pipe directs the excess into the catch basin, which is through the sea water level is regulated. The performance that the condensate power plant can achieve depends on the height of the cooling pipe or reservoir and on the steam amount off. So at a height of 100 m and an evaporation of 100 l The power plant would produce 100 kW of water per second.
The water is heated by cylindrical-parabolic solar collector systems 5 . It would also have to be considered how far the use of heat pumps that allow the use of geothermal energy or groundwater or seawater 41 would be conceivable. However, solar panels 15 have the major part of being able to heat the pressurized water between 100 and 500 ° C. This ensures that when the pressure drops to an ambient pressure of 1 bar, a large part of the water also evaporates, and not only 1% as with cooling towers. The water for the solar collectors 15 is taken through the collector gate line 23 from the upper part of the catch basin 20 , since here the water is warmest by the previous trickling down of the non-evaporated water. After the strong heating of the water by the solar collectors 15 , it can easily overcome a height difference of 10 m using the pressure in order to get into the evaporation region 16 . In the evaporation area 16 , the heated water is sprayed through a sprinkler system 17 . A large part of the water evaporates, and cold air can flow in through the discharge gaps 18 from below. The rest flows into the catch basin 20 , where it is in the upper area, it is warmer than the rest of the water. From there it is directed to the solar collectors 15 . This means that the water no longer has to be heated as much. Evaporation separates the water from salt and contaminants. That means it is distilled very easily. The steam rises in the cooling tube 37 and reaches the condenser 38 . This condenser 38 is constructed almost exactly like the condenser 2 from the condensate power plant on a cooling tower and also works in this way.
However, here the condensate through the pressure pipe 25 to the reservoir 32 , which is located on a nearby hill 28 , and from there the cooled water is then returned to the condenser 38 for cooling through the cooling water line 24 . The water collected in the condensate basin now passes through the pressure pipe 25 into the reservoir 32 . The water masses drive the water turbine 27 of the cooling system 26 . The cooling system 26 is responsible for supplying the condenser 38 with cooling water. Since a gradient of at least 1% is required anyway in order to guide the water into the reservoir 32 , one can use this to drive the water turbine 27 . This What serturbine 27 then transmits its kinetic energy through a V-belt 30 to the impeller of the centrifugal pump 29th Through the suction pipe 31 , the water from the lower region of the reservoir 32 is sucked into the centrifugal pump 29 , since the water is coldest there. From there it passes through the cooling water line 24 to the trickling system 34 in the condenser 38 . From the lake 32 , the water now flows through the pressure pipe 33 , which is connected by fastenings 40 to the hill 28 , to the power plant 35 . The water reaches a speed of 44 m / s, starting from a reservoir sea level of 100 m. The water jet then hits the blades of a free jet or Pelton turbine at the bottom. With a lower head and a larger amount of water, it would be advisable to use Francis shaft turbines. These are characterized by the fact that they simplify any repair work by a simple structure. They also work practically maintenance-free, and costs can be saved by replacing the expensive inlet spiral and the suction hose with a so-called shaft. Perhaps it would be possible to replace the expensive transmission with a simple generator drive with flat or V-belts, whereby only 30 kW can be transmitted per belt. The water jet thus sets the turbine wheel in rapid rotation. The water is braked almost to a standstill and therefore releases its kinetic energy almost completely. A generator is connected to the turbine, which converts the kinetic energy into electrical energy. The water then flows into the drinking water basin 21 , which is connected to the catch basin 20 by a regulating pipe 19 . If the drinking water pool 21 is now full, the rest flows into the catch basin 20 and thereby prevents overflow. Since the catch basin 20 is open at the bottom, it is regulated by the sea water level 36 . From the drinking water pool 21 , water can now be used for irrigating fields. However, if you want to use it as drinking water, you have to treat the water, as completely salt-free water is harmful to health. This is achieved by adding carbon dioxide and passing it over pieces of marble. After that, it contains calcium bicarbonate. The wastewater can then be directed into the catch basin 20 , where it would be distilled again by the evaporation.
