The invention relates to a method for reducing the response time of solenoid valves and to an arrangement to carry out the procedure.
In many cases it is necessary to use solenoid valves as far as possible have short response times. Solenoid valves with short response times are used in electronically controlled gasoline injection for internal combustion engines, preferably at very high speeds running machines. Measures have already been taken to shorten the response times of solenoid valves known. These measures consist, for example, in reducing the masses moved by the magnetic force, in increasing the area on which the magnetic force acts and decreasing the inductance of the main winding.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die AnsprechzeitThe invention is based on the object of the response time

To reduce solenoid valves beyond what can be achieved with the known structural measures. the The object is achieved in a method of the type mentioned in that the solenoid valve after or before every time it is actuated, it is demagnetized with the aid of an alternating voltage of a preselected frequency applied to its working winding will. According to the invention, an arrangement for carrying out this method is that the working winding of the solenoid valve to one to operate the valve on and off oscillator is connected. An advantageous mode of operation of a solenoid valve results According to a further feature of the invention, when the output voltage of the oscillator has an approximately rectangular shape. The power that can be absorbed by the working winding of the solenoid valve within a certain unit of time is primarily Proportional approximation to the integral formed over time over the amount of the applied voltage. Apparently it is Value of this integral in the case of a non-intermittent square-wave alternating voltage greater than with a sinusoidal voltage of the same amplitude under otherwise comparable conditions. In a simple and reliable design, an astable multivibrator is used as the oscillator.

Fig. 2 shows two magnetization characteristics, two diagrams, the state of belonging to the solenoid valve 10 Describe ferromagnetic parts. This represents The left diagram of FIG. 2 shows, in general, a magnetization characteristic for a non-demagnetized solenoid valve. In the current-carrying state there is a maximum Field strength Hm, which, for example, corresponds to an induction Bs in the armature, which at the beginning of saturation of the Iron lies. If the current is now switched off, the field strength H becomes Hull, the magnetic induction B on the other hand runs along the upper curve from Bs to Br, where Br is the renanence induction. The iron parts of such a operated solenoid valves have a permanent magnetic induction, a remanent induction, in the unexcited state, and this remanent induction creates an attraction between the anchor and the remaining iron parts. So that the solenoid valve is safely closed in the de-energized state "remains, the force emanating from the remanence must additionally be applied by the counterforce of the spring 11.

Die Anordnung nach Fig 1 arbeitet folgendermaßen:In contrast, the right diagram of Fig. 2 shows the course of the induction over the field strength when die.Eisenteile of the solenoid valve are demagnetized. The magnetic induction then assumes the value zero when the supply voltage is switched off, and the closing force that is required is to avoid the non-energized solenoid valve in the closed state, can be considerably less. Will a demagnetized solenoid valve again to an operating voltage source connected, considerably higher forces for acceleration can be achieved with the same construction of the solenoid valve of the armature become effective, since the force of the spring 11 counteracting the magnetic forces due to omission the remanence force needs to be lower. Because of the discussions 2, the function of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 can be easily described. The order according to Fig 1 works as follows:
The diodes D1O and D11 protect the base-emitter paths of the power transistors T10 and T11 against excessively high voltages occurring in the reverse direction. The function of the multivibrator is not discussed in detail, since such arrangements are well known. Vorzeichen. Sign. Such a control voltage is now applied the Sbeuertransistor T12 switched so that it is conductive is, there is such a large voltage drop across its load resistor R16 that the power transistors T10 and T 11 are blocked via the voltage dividers R 12, R1O and R13, R11. The multivibrator stops vibrating and at the same time its oscillation decays as the voltage rises, so that the iron parts of the Solenoid valve 10 can be demagnetized.
In FIGS. 3 and 1 V are those operations represented graphically. FIG. 3 shows the time course of Ust, and Fig. 4 shows the resulting course of the magnetic induction, for example, in the armature of the solenoid valve 10. The course of the induction of FIG. 1 V is shown in idealized, and the waveform more rounding off The effect of the self-induction of the work windings is neglected. However, these simplified curves still come very close to the real curve, since the inductance of the main windings must be kept small.
