Bei den bisher bekannten Formen zur Herstellung von Zigarrenhandwickeln, bei welchen in einem Behälter eine größere Anzahl von Formen vereinigt sind, ist es erforderlich, den Wickel, wenn dieser insbesondere zum Zweck des Kehrens herausgenommen werden soll, langer zu machen als die Form selbst, um das Herausnehmen ohne Beschädigung bewerkstelligen zu können. Um diesen Übel-ίο stand zu beseitigen, kommen nach vorliegender Erfindung Einzelformen in Anwendung, deren Unterform in der Längsrichtung geteilt ist und bei welchen diese Teile durch eine Verschlußvorrichtung zusammengehalten und an ihren in der Querrichtung liegenden Enden durch ein Scharnier miteinander verbunden werden. Geteilte Unterformen sind an sich bekannt, jedoch kommen diese nur in Verbindung mit einem Behälter für eine größere Anzahl von Formen und mit einem gemeinsamen Deckel in Anwendung. Die neue Form ermöglicht ein leichtes und schnelles Öffnen und Kehren des Wickels, ohne daß es nötig wäre, diesen länger als die Form herzustellen.
