Ebenso beweisen Kugeln zum Kegelspiel, die aus hochmolekularem Polyäthylen hergestellt werden, eine absolute Splitterfestigkeit, die eine Dauerbeständigkeit der Kegelform ohne die geringste Abweichung garantiert. Überdies lassen sich solche Kugeln leichter abwerfen, in ihrem Gang besser dirigieren und leichter mit "Effet"versehen, wie der Kegler sagt, d. h. mit dem gewünschten Drall, so daß sich bestimmte Kegler-Effekte leichter bewerkstelligen lassen.
