Bei Verbindungen eines nichtelastischen Schlauches mit einem Leitungsanschluss
war es bisher schwierig, einen luft-und flüssigkeitsdichten Anschluss zu erzielen,
da sich der Schlauch nach dem Aufschieben auf den Leitungsanschluss infolge seiner
mangelnden Elastizität nicht selbsttätig dicht um den Leitungsanschluss legen kann.
Diese Schwierigkeiten traten insbesondere bei dickwandigen nichtelastischen Kunststoffschläuchen
auf. Diesen Schwierigkeiten versuchte
man bisher dadurch zu begegnen, dass auf die Verbindung-
stelle von Leitungsanschluss und Schlauch eine Klemmschelle od. dgl. aufgesetzt
und festgezogen wurde. Diese bekannten Maßnahmen haben den Nachteil, dass die Klemmschelle
insbesondere bei nippelförmigem Leitungsanschluss nur einen Teil des Berührungsbereiches
von Leitungsanschluss und Schlauch erfassen kann und ausserdem die Gefahr besteht,
dass sich die Klemmschelle bei Zug-und Biegebeanspruchungen des Schlauches lockert.
Insbesondere bei Verbindungen von Luft unter hohem Druck führenden Leitungen wird
daher durch die bekannten Maßnahmen keine zuverlässige Abdichtung erzielt, die
Verwendung
einer Klemmschelle od. dgl. ist daher insbeson-
dere für eine solche Verbindung nicht brauchbar.
Diese Nachteile werden nach dem Gebrauchsmusterja-
durch beseitigt, dass die Verbindungsstelle von Leitung-
anschluss und Schlauch von einer elastischen Manschette umschlossen ist, die den
Schlauch luft-und flüssigkeitsdicht auf den Leitungsanschluss presst. Dadurch wird
der Vorteil erzielt, dass Schlauch und Leitungsanschluss über ihren gesamten Berührungsbereich
fest aufeinandergepresst werden und somit eine ausgezeichnete Dichtung ermöglicht
wird, die auch bei Leitung von Luft unter hohem Druck sicher gewährleistet wird.
Die Möglichkeit einer Lockerung der Vorrichtung durch äussere Beanspruchung des
Schlauches wird praktisch ausgeschaltet. Bei nippelförmigem Leitunganschluss ist
die elastische Manschette in der Lage, sich und den Schlauch den Konturen des Anschlussnippels
anzupassen, so dass sowohl die Dichtungswirkung als auch die Festigkeit der Verbindung

besteht die elastische Manschette aus Gummi. Eine derartige Gummimanschette ist
besonders geeignet, eine kräftige Anpressung zwischen Schlauch und Leitungsanschluss

nippel und Schlauch ist auf deren gesamtem Berührungsbereich von einer Manschette
6 umschlossen. Die Manschette besteht vorzugsweise aus Gummi und presst den Schlauch
5 luft-und flüssigkeitsdicht auf den Anschlussnippel, so dass sich der Schlauch
den Konturen des Anschlussnippels anpasst und eine Lockerung der Verbindung bei
einer Zug-oder Biegebeanspruchung des Schlauches nicht mehr möglich ist und eine
sichere Abdichtung erzielt wird.
