Karten kassette Die Karteikarten einer Zieh-Kartei werden meist in
größeren Karteikästen oder Karteischubladen schräg stehend hintereinander gestapelt.
Die einzelnen Karteigruppen müssen durch anders gefärbte Karten, die auch aus anderem
Werkstoff hergestellt sind, voneinander getrennt werden, wobei auf diese Trennkarten
aufgesteckte Reiter das Ende einer Karteigruppe und den Beginn der nächsten Gruppe
anzeigen. Soll nun eine bestimmte Karte aus einer Gruppe gezogen werden, wird der
vor der betreffenden Gruppe stehende Karteistoß um die Grundkanten der einzeinen
Karten in die entgegengesetzte Schräglage verschwenkt, so daß die beschriftete Vorderfläehe
der ersten Gruppenkarte sichtbar wird. Sodann können von der ersten Karte beginnend
Karte um Karte um ihre Grundkante verschwenkt und aufgeblättert werden, bis die
gesuchte Karte gefunden ist und gezogen werden kann. Dabei kann es insbesondere
bei einer größeren Gruppe leicht passieren, daß eine Karte gezogen ist und der Gruppenstoß
ungewollt umkippt, so daß der Ort, an den die gezogene Karte nach Gebrauch zurückzustellen
ist, nur mit Mühe wieder ermittelt werden muß. Auch kann leicht eine Karte überschlagen
werden, die erst nach erneutem Blättern gefunden werden kann. Infolgedessen nimmt
man sich gern einen kleinen Kartenstoß aus der Kartei heraus und blättert diesen
Stoß auf einem Tisch außerhalb der Karteikästen wie ein Kartenspiel auf. Auf
diese
Weise wird die Suche zwar erleichtert, aber auch hierbei kann das in der Kartei
befindliche Kartenmate-
rial leicht in Unordnung kommen, so daß eine ttBstänli"-
ehe Wiedereinordnung die Folge ist. Zur Vermeidung dieser Nachteile wird neuerungsgemäß
vorgeschlagen, eine an einer Seite offene Kassette zur Aufnahme å. ner Karteistoßstãrke
von etwa 3 cm zu verwenden, die zusammen mit mehreren nebeneinander in einem Karteischrank
oder auf einem Karteitisoh in Zahlenformationen
