Die Anordnung im allgemeinen zeigt das von uns seit längerer Zeit gebaute und bei uns im
Betriebe befindliche System mit beweglichem Rolltisch e und feststehendem Roller c. The arrangement in general shows the system that we have built for a long time and is in our company with a movable roller table e and a stationary roller c.
Der Tabak, welcher sich in den Füllvorrichtungen (Fig. 3) befindet, wird durch den Arbeiter
in den Rollsack eingelegt, wie in Fig. 2 bei d angedeutet, darauf wird das Umblatt auf den
Rolltisch «gelegt und letzterer durch Fufsbetrieb nach hinten bewegt. Der fertige Wickel wird
darauf, vorn bei b, von dem Arbeiter abgefangen. Bei den bisher ausgeführten Maschinen ist das Rolltuch mit seinen Endpunkten auf dem
Rolltisch befestigt, der Rolltisch selber, wenn man von den beiden Einschnitten für den Rollsack,
sowie dem zum Abfangen des Wickels absieht, ist vollständig cylindrisch; beide Festpunkte
des Rolltuches sind also in gleichem Abstande von der Axe befindlich. Unsere Verbesserung
besteht nun darin, den hinteren Festpunkt α für das Rolltuch verstellbar anzubringen
und zwar so, dafs seine Entfernung von der Axe des Rolltisches gröfser wird, als diejenige
des vorderen b. Bei einer beliebigen Voroder Rückwärtsbewegung des Tisches beschreibt
dann der Punkt α einen gröfseren Weg als b, erfordert also auch mehr Tuch. Es ist diese
successive Tuchentnahme sehr wichtig, der Wickel wird allmälig zusammengeprefst, der
Widerstand wird λ ein gleichmäfsiger, und die
ganze Kraft braucht nicht in einem Punkte zu wirken. Bei unserer Maschine beträgt diese

Unsere neue Füllvorrichtung Fig. 3 ist im Querschnitt und Facon ähnlich wie das einzelne
der 20 neben einander liegenden Schiffchen der bekannten Holzform, welche den fertigen Wickel
zur Pressung aufnimmt, die Länge der Schenkel bei unserem Füllapparat ist gleich dem anderthalbfachen
Durchmesser des Wickels, um das erforderliche Einlage - Quantum zu fassen. Der lose
Tabak wird, wie er vom Lager kommt, auf einem dazu passend eingerichteten Tische in
die aus zehn hintereinander folgenden, durch eine eiserne Klemme festgehaltenen Füllvorrichtungen,
Fig. 3, gelegt, sodann mit diesen allmälig unter ein Blech, welches auch als Arbeitsplatte
dient, geschoben und werden dann, nachdem die Füllapparate alle gefüllt sind, dieselben
