Description

The invention relates to a system for the construction of shelves, for example for books, consisting of vertically arranged profile rails which are provided with slot-shaped recesses at regular intervals, as well as associated support arms, which have hook-shaped extensions at one end, by means of whose support arms are hooked into the slots in the profile rails. Numerous systems of this type are known in which the profile rails are provided with a row of slots which runs in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the profile rail. The support arms in these systems consist of punched flat pieces, which are provided with the hook-shaped extensions described above. In the DBPat. No. 885 14'I, another system was announced in which the slots of the profile rails are arranged in two rows, in pairs and parallel to one another and the support arm has the shape of a U-profile, which is equipped with two hook-shaped extensions corresponding to the paired arrangement of the slots . What all systems have in common is the deficiency that, due to the space between the slot and the b.Mken-shaped extension of the support arm, a full, rattle-free connection between the profile rail and support arm cannot be achieved. Makeshift solutions to this problem by means of locking screws are known, but they disrupt the visual effect of such shelves very considerably. The invention is based on the object of achieving a firm fit when the support arms are hung in the profile rails, which prevents rattling, but at the same time dispenses with the use of aids that impair the visual appearance of the shelf. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the slots in the profile rails are arranged in pairs, but not parallel, but rather are V-shaped to one another. The Tragas consists of a punched sheet metal part, which is also V-shaped and whose legs are at the same angle to each other as the slots of a pair that belong together in the profile rail. If the support arm inserted with its hook-shaped extensions in a pair of slots of the profile rail and to the stop down gedrücki so results from the elasticity of the material used: for example, sheet steel, a clamping effect which ensures a rattle-free seating of the support arm in the mounting rail. The invention is shown in the drawing and is described in more detail as follows. It shows Fig.1 a view of the profile rail with two V-shaped pairs of slots, Fig.2 a section through the profile shown in Fig.1 Fig.3 the side view of a support arm according to the invention Fig.4 the same support arm in perspective Fig.5 the V-position, which the two legs of a support arm hold before hanging in the profile rail e Fig. 6 the V-position, which the two legs of a support arm assume after hanging in the profile rail and pushing down to the stop.

Claims (1)

Protection claims: 1) Shelf system, consisting of profile rails that are provided with slot-shaped recesses at regular intervals, as well as V-shaped support arms that engage in the slot-shaped recesses of the profile rails by means of hook-shaped extensions, characterized in that the slot pairs of the profile rails and the legs of the Support arms are V-shaped to each other and thus when the support arms are inserted into the profile rails and pushed down to the stop, a clamping effect is created that ensures a rattle-free fit.
