Description
The object of the present invention is to provide a safety device to create the type mentioned einr :: angs, which still works safely in the event of an accident, and who is able to perform such functions at high speed, those of people at the moment of an accident either not fast enough or only imperfectly or can be carried out with certainty. This object is achieved according to the invention solved in that one of at least one shock-sensitive element in i'_irer Rest position held mass is provided, and that the mass is arranged in such a way is that it triggers an alarm if the shock-sensitive element is destroyed Position is brought.
Since the shock-sensitive element only acts on such mecaanic Impulse reacts, the amplitude of which exceeds the destruction threshold, is guaranteed, that the safety device in the event of continuous changes in speed, even if it takes on considerable proportions, it does not respond. For this reason. For example, when installing in a motor vehicle, a full braking action is not required Triggering the alarm. In this context, under "Trigger alarm" the Initiation of appropriate measures should be understood, which not only relate to the Emission of acoustic or optical signals is limited, but may include rescue equipment or puts fire extinguishers into operation. or other switching measures. So can be provided be that in the event of the alarm being triggered, the electrical System: - "e of the vehicle - with the exception of the alarm system itself switched off by the battery so that short circuits caused by the accident no longer have an effect on sic @ i can.
The shock-sensitive element expediently consists of a glass tube, whereby the strength of the glass wall corresponds to the impulse strength leading to the triggering can be measured. The tubular shape offers a large section modulus, so that with elastic deformation is not to be expected and in the case of shock loads; Due to the brittleness of the glass, a safe destruction of the spacer tube acting glass tube is effected. For the shock-sensitive element, jedoc; other materials, such as ceramics, can also be selected.
The Glasröurchen can have a conical approach inside a Housing to be attached, while the mass also with a conical approach is provided. If you are using a tubular shock-sensitive element, immerse yourself insert the two cones at both ends into the tube, and the tube rests on it the conical surfaces. In this way, a shock sensitivity is increased both axially as well as in the radial direction of the tube. In general it is important that the sensitivity of the safety device as equally as possible in all directions is, i.e. that the safety device is also used in rear-end collisions Head-on collisions, oversized traffic and crashes is effective. Will be a different security guidelines for the individual Directions desired, this can be achieved by differently dimensioning the taper angles. In its rest position, the mass is advantageously equidistant from one or more Surrounding contact elements in such a way that they are destroyed when the shock-sensitive element comes into contact with a contact element. In this case, an easy one is sufficient Tilting the mass to trigger an alarm. The shock-sensitive elements must So it is ensured that a good centering of the mass between the contact elements takes place, so that the establishment of the contact is by no means already not destroyed shock-sensitive elements can be done. The mass can also be from several sides be held in their rest position by shock-sensitive elements. Here can the dimensioning of the individual elements may be different, so that the shock sensitivity becomes direction-dependent. Further refinements of the invention are set out in the subclaims refer to.
In the following, the invention is intended to be based on several exemplary embodiments will be explained in more detail with reference to the figures.
Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the safety device according to the invention in section, FIG. 2 shows a further embodiment with two glass tubes, and FIG. 3 shows a third embodiment with two contacts facing one another. the Safety device according to Fig. 1 is housed in a cylindrical housing 1, on one end face of the mandrel 2 pointing into the interior of the housing with the conical one Approach 3 is attached. The mass 4 is attached to the mandrel 2 "; e",), enülier. she is also cylindrical i; _; formed and at its lower end with the likewise an icegle-shaped extension J is provided with a bolt 5. The crowd 4 is @; e @; enü @: he ialten the bolt 2 through the glass tube 7 on Dis'L-.an, - g0. This glass tube is supported on the conical surfaces 3 opposite one another, 6 from. Furthermore, an electrode surrounding the mass 11 in the shape of a ring is provided. which is secured in the housing insulated, and to which the electrical Leituni; 9 connected is. The Ge "Uuse 1 is made of non-conductive plastic, and the i-iasse 4 is by the spring 11 from the upper housing end wall in the direction of the bolt 2 pressed. Like the ring electrode 8, they are made of electrically conductive material and can be connected via line l0.
If a mechanical shock hits from any direction; Degen that Housing 1, the clamped mass 4 from ll_irer is shown in the drawing Moved rest position, and by the displacement of the cone 3, 6 bursts against each other the glass tube 7. This is the mass 4- of the spring 11 against the bolt 2 pressed, and the two cones 3, 6 slide along each other; r. By the The tilting of the mass 4 caused in this way is in contact with the ring electrode 8 in K #) brought and ciie lines 9, 10 are inside the housing 1 with each other tied together. Due to the electrical contact created in this way, the preventive Safety measures, such as switching off the main power supply of the vehicle, starting a fire extinguisher or operating it be initiated by a radio device.
Another embodiment of the safety device according to the invention is shown in FIG. It has a similar structure to the safety device described above, but the mass is 14 the two glass tubes 18 and 19 clamped. The glass tubes are also based on the conical lugs of the bolts 13, 15; 16, 17, and if an impact occurs in any direction, at least one of the glass tubes 18, 19 shatters. This brings the compound 14 into contact with the ring electrode 20, and an electrically conductive connection is created between the lines 21, 22. The safety device is only shown schematically in the drawing. In practice, one end face of the housing 12 will be made removable so that the glass tubes 18, 19 can be replaced after an accident. Furthermore, you will attach the removable end face slightly resilient, so that leine differences in the length or in the clear width of the glass tubes 18, 19 can be compensated.
Fig. 3 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungsform. Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment. This is also on the end face of a cylindrical housing made of plastic 25 the inwardly facing bolt 27 is attached, and the mass 24 has a corresponding bolt 26 on. Both bolts 27, 26 are through the glass or ceramic tube 30 kept at a distance. The tube 30 is based, but not on conical ones Approaches, but there are precise fits and the bolts 26, 27 protrude with the cylinder surfaces 32, 33 into the interior of the tube. These However, cylinder surfaces also open into conical approaches that break when they break of the tube 30 an electrical contact between the mass 24 and the bolt 27 manufacture. The mass 24 is supported on the side facing away from the tube 30 with the compression spring 31 on the housing 25. Due to the tight clamping of the tube, into which the cylindrical lugs 32, 33 are introduced, also leads Lateral Versc: pull the mass 24 immediately to destruction, so that the contacts 28, 29 are connected to one another.
