"Schaumarme Spül- und Reinigungsmittel""Low-foaming detergents and cleaning agents"
The present invention relates to low-foam dishwashing detergents and cleaning agents, especially for use in dishwashers.
For cleaning dishes and other objects of all kinds Made of glass, porcelain, ceramics, metal and plastics, machine washing processes are increasingly being used. Here will be detergents containing special surface-active compounds, used, which must be as low-foaming as possible so that they can use the Do not interfere with the puncture of the dishwasher. Too much foam formation, caused and supported by the strong Fleet movement in the machine, leads to considerable disruptions, because the foam masses reduce the mechanical effect of the liquor sprayed onto the items to be cleaned and cause the machine to overflow.
In recent times, the development of dishwashers has been the vigor of the movement of the fleet as well as that circulated per minute To further increase the amount of water and thus the mechanical cleaning

.Effect to be improved. It has been shown that so far used for these purposes, mostly based on alkylene oxide adducts built-up detergent no longer satisfy under these conditions, but due to excessive foam development to the give cause for the disturbances mentioned. .
The object achieved by the invention is to create extremely low-foaming to practically non-foaming washing-up and cleaning agents which are particularly suitable for cleaning dishes. The approach is to use a combination of nonionic agents which is characterized by a content of

Foaming was then held in a special foam testing device various non-ionic surfactants and detergent mixtures tested comparatively. The test results shown in the table demonstrate the extremely favorable foaming behavior of the claimed mixtures.
Der Schaumapparat ist beschrieben in "Fette, Seifen, Anstrichmittel" 66 (1964), Seite 529.The foam apparatus used is constructed in a similar way to a modern dishwasher that works according to the nozzle system. A circulation pump is used to circulate about VJo 1 of water per minute and spray it into the measuring room through a rotating spray arm equipped with nozzles. Foam heights from 0 to 280 mm can be measured reproducibly, while larger amounts of foam can no longer be determined exactly and are therefore indicated in the table with "^ -28o". The liquor temperature in the testers was 50, the hardness of the water used was 16 ° dH and the duration of the foaming test was 5 minutes. The foam height was read off immediately after the machine had stopped. The foam apparatus is described in "Fette, Seifen, Anstrichmittel" 66 (1964), page 529.
