stromrichtergespeisten Antrieben.Arrangement to avoid overcurrents in the armature circuit of f: # emderregt.en ,, current riohter-fed drives The object of the invention is an arrangement to avoid overcurrents in the armature circuit of separately excited, converter-fed drives.

For this purpose, the Stromr-.üter are connected via an upstream so-called converter transformer with an alternating or rotating current-fed supply source and have the task of a converter between this network and the drive acting as a direct current consumer . This generally has a choke coil arranged in the armature circuit as a smoothing device. A converter itself essentially consists of a controllable valve set formed by thyristors: you introduce. so-called control part to ignition pulses, which are generated with the help of transotor circuits. As a result of the thyrstor's ability to also block positive voltages, the transfer of current from one valve to the next can be arbitrarily delayed by shifting the timing of the ignition pulses to the phase of the alternating voltage, with the mean value of the direct voltage decreasing as the firing angle increases . The arrangement of the thyristors, which act as semiconductor valves, determines the direction of the current, although the energy can flow in both directions despite the unidirectional current: from the via the transformer into the drive or from: the direct current side back into the supply network. Faults in the supply network, such as brief voltage failures, can occur simultaneously with errors in the control of the thyristors, for example in that a thyristor of the converter arranged in the armature circuit does not achieve its blocking behavior in the specified time. In this case, overcurrents develop in the armature circuit of a separately excited drive, which can accept impermissibly high currents and lead to serious operational damage. The cause lies in the high inductance of the excitation circuit of the separately excited drive, so that, for example, if the supply network fails, the magnetic field generated by the excitation winding is only slowly reduced. is: These dangers can occur especially in rail vehicles equipped with such drives: - if the contact between the pantograph and the contact line is interrupted. It is known (- - to arrange a direct current high-speed switch in the armature circuit of separately excited drives. It has the task of interrupting the armature circuit when the current strength exceeds a specified value. It is also known L) to assign a forced commutation device to each thyristor of the armature circuit, see above that every thyristor must adopt its blocking behavior at a given time. In general, the drive is disconnected from the converter if, for example, the voltage at the smoothing inductor in the armature circuit or the duration of a transistor exceeds a specified value; at the same time, the control pulses of the converter in the armature circuit are blocked. Since these safety devices are arranged in the power section of the system, the DC optical switches or the commutation devices must be designed for high loads and require a great deal of effort. The @ Erfinnung has the task of avoiding these disadvantages. It is characterized by means in the excitation circuit for changing the field of the excitation winding in the sense of reducing the armature current and for decoupling the excitation circuit from the supply network when the permissible armature current is exceeded, the control pulses of the converter in the armature circuit being blocked. According to the invention, the .Means for changing the field of the excitation winding consist of a series circuit of diode and capacitor connected in parallel to the excitation winding, with one arranged in parallel with the capacitor. Resistance.

in Fig. 2 vom Versorgungsnetz entkoppelt.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the means for changing the field of the excitation winding consist of a parallel connection of thyristor and capacitor connected in parallel to the excitation winding, -wherein the thyristor is connected in parallel with a further thyristor with a downstream capacitor that is connected in parallel via a diode. downstream resistor is chargeable. In Fig. 1, the armature circuit of the separately excited drive 1 is fed via the transformer 2, the semi-controlled converter 3 and the smoothing reactor 4 from a supply network, not shown. The transformer 7 of the excitation circuit is coupled to the transformer 2 via the antiparallel-connected thyristors 5 and 6, the secondary side of which is followed by the rectifier bridge circuit 8. The excitation winding 9 is connected in series with the thyristor 11 at the output of this circuit. The ohmic resistance of the excitation winding is denoted by 10. The series circuit comprising diode 12 and capacitor 13 is arranged parallel to excitation winding 9, resistor 14 being parallel to capacitor 13. The thyristor 11 is also connected in parallel with a series circuit consisting of the diode 15 and the Zösehkondensator 16. The quenching capacitor 16 is arranged via the resistor 17 and the diode 18 in the secondary circuit of the auxiliary transformer 19, which is fed from the supply network via the transformer 2 @. The excitation current is controlled by means of the thyristors 5 and 6; so that the excitation current is set, thyristor 11 is ignited. At the same time, the quenching capacitor 16 is charged via the resistor 17 and the diode 18 from the transformer 19. If the armature current exceeds its permissible value, the control pulses of the converter 3 are blocked by means of the known devices in the armature circuit, the thyristors 5 and 6 are locked and the thyristor 15 is ignited so that the full voltage of the quenching capacitor 16 is applied to the thyristor 11 and this locks. As a result, the excitation current flows through the diode 12 and charges the capacitor 13, which can discharge through the resistor 14. In this way, the magnetic field energy of the excitation coil is first converted into electrical energy. It is converted into thermal energy in the high-resistance resistor 14, which is connected in parallel with the capacitor 13. As soon as the thyristors of the converter 3 have regained their blocking behavior, normal operation is resumed by triggering the thyristors 5, 6 and 11 and the relevant thyristors of the converter 3. The armature circuit of FIG. 2 corresponds to that of FIG. In the excitation circuit, the excitation winding - "9, the series circuit of diode 12 and capacitor 13 is connected in parallel, the resistor 14 being in parallel with the capacitor 13. The energy supply for the excitation circuit is also carried out via transformer 2, while the energy supply for the commutation units for the symmetrical half-controlled bridge _21 with the rectifier valves 22, 23 and the thyristors 24, 25 takes place via the further transformer 20. In the secondary circuit of the transformer 20, the forced commutation devices for the thyristors 24 and 25 are made up of the thyristor 26 and 27 of the capacitance 28 and 29, respectively , the resistor 30 or 31 and the diode 32 or 33. During the trouble-free operation, the excitation current is set with the help of the converter 21 in gate control or 31 and the diodes 32 or 33 ge are loading. When the permissible armature current strength is exceeded, the thyristors 26 and 27 are triggered in a manner known per se, with the control pulses of the converter being blocked in the armature circuit. After triggering the thyristor 26 or 27, the voltage of the quenching capacitor is applied to the thyristor 24 or 259 so that the thyristor in question regains its blocking behavior Capacitor 13, so that the field energy of the excitation coil 9 is converted into thermal energy in the high-resistance resistor 14. As soon as the thyristors of the converter 3 have reached their blocking behavior, normal operation is resumed by igniting the thyristors 24 or 25 and the relevant converter 3. The thyristors 26 and 27 receive their blocking behavior by themselves after the forced commutation process has ended. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3 ″, the half-controlled converter 3 of FIG A half-controlled bridge with forced communication is carried out, the field winding 9 is connected in parallel with the parallel connection of capacitor 35 and thyristor 36. The thyristor 3: 6, for its part, the series connection of thyristor 37 and quenching capacitor 38 is connected in parallel, 'that in the secondary circuit of transformer 20 and charged via the resistor 39 and the diode 40. In the trouble-free operating state, the thyristors 36 and 37 are blocked Fi g. 2 decoupled from the supply network. As a result of this, the excitation current flows into the capacitor 35 and charges it, the yr excitation winding 9, the resistor 10 and the capacitor 35 forming an oscillating circuit. As soon as the capacitor 35 has released its stored energy again, the thyristor 36 is ignited, so that the capacitor 35 is short-circuited. As a result, the oscillation used changes into a compensation process, the time constant of which is due to the inductance. the excitation winding 9 and the ohmic resistor 10 is determined. At the same time, the electromotive force of the drive 1 wakes-up its sign with the direction of the excitation current. As a result of this, the forced commutation of the thyristors of the converter 34 takes place in the armature circuit, so that each thyristor can regain its blocking behavior. As soon as this is ensured, the thyristor 37 is ignited, so that the thyristor 36 regains its blocking behavior with the aid of the discharge of the Zösehkondensators 38. The. Any energy still present in the excitation circuit causes a renewed oscillation in the circuit comprising the excitation winding 9, resistor 10 and capacitor 35, so that the current flows again in its original direction after a half-oscillation in the excitation winding. At the same time the thyristors 24 and 25 are activated, so that normal operation is initiated again. The embodiment according to FIG. 4 differs from that in FIG. 3 in that a rectifier bridge as in FIG. 1 is provided to supply the exciter circuit with energy. A thyristor 11 is therefore also arranged in the direct current section in order to be able to decouple the excitation circuit from the supply network. The quenching capacitors 16 and 38 are each fed by a branch of the secondary winding of the auxiliary transformer 41 - via the diode 42 or 43 and the resistor 44 or 45. As soon as the thyristors of the converter 34 have regained their blocking behavior, normal operation is resumed by firing the thyrstors 5, 6 and 11 and the relevant thyristors of the converter 34, `` According to the invention, the forced commutation in the armature circuit is on the low-power side of the drive, namely on the pathogen side, initiated. Therefore, the aids to avoid impermissible overcurrents in the armature circuit are simpler and require significantly less effort than with the known devices:
