In the main patent it has been suggested to lower brownstone Apply conductivity. Nickel oxide, zinc oxide, Cobalt oxide or nickel and zinc oxide together in the Manganese stone can be built in or it becomes the manganese nitrate used to produce the manganese dioxide as a reducing agent added, which only becomes effective at a higher temperature, preferably only slightly above 40-80 ° C., preferably Manganese acetate. This deliberately low electrical conductivity of the brownstone reduces the residual current behavior of the capacitors is improved and the dielectric strength is considerably increased.
According to the teaching of the main patent should expediently first manganese dioxide layer, which is applied directly to the dielectric layer, made of pure, free of additives Manganese nitrate solution can be produced, i.e. normal conductivity on v / iron. The concentration of the manganese nitrate solution should preferably be 30 to 50 wt. First one or several of the later impregnations should be with a reducing agent, e.g. manganese acetate, or a premdmetal salt. containing Manganese nitrate solution can be made and reduced conductivity obtained.

The present invention has for its object to be a Specify the way according to the one described in addition to those described in the main patent Advantages, the intermediate forming voltage can be increased so that the aluminum, niobium or, in particular, tantalum dry capacitors can also be produced for higher voltages. So far, these capacitors were on voltages limited to 75 volts.
As is known, intermediate forming is carried out after the application of one or more layers of manganese dioxide and is used to remove the manganese nitrate damaged during the pyrolysis of the manganese nitrate. To give dielectric again sufficient blocking strength. Until now, in order to keep the reject rate low, the intermediate forming voltage had to be limited to relatively low values compared to the forming voltage s which was used to apply the dielectric.
The invention solves the problem by proposing; that prefers me in the first layer of brownstone for humiliation the conductivity a foreign metal oxide is incorporated that for this purpose the solution of liangan nitrate in water a compound · this foreign metal is added that the free metal and the Connection of this foreign metal selected in such a way that see the compound at a higher temperature than the manganese nitrate, but at the latest at that for the pyrolysis of the manganese nitrate set furnace temperature, decomposed to oxide, and that the total concentration set to a maximum of about 20 Gev.fi in the solution will.

The invention is based on the following considerations The pyrolysis of manganese nitrate8 is the Damaged dielectric layer consisting of oxide, in particular in that oxygen migrates. This damage occur mainly during the production of the first layer of manganese dioxide, because the oxide layer is unprotected here free. When applying the following brownstone layers, the previously applied brownstone layer offers the Dielectric already has some protection. The attainable intermediate size can be regarded as a criterion for the integrity of the dielectric, regardless of whether it is present Damages in the oxide layer are repaired during the intermediate formation or whether the oxide layer during pyrolysis, has remained intact.
Um die erforderlichen hohen Zwischenformierspannungen zu erreichen, können prinzipiell zwei Wege eingeschlagen werden:To achieve the required high intermediate forming voltages, In principle, two paths can be taken:
Es werden Zvvischenforinierbedingungen ermittelt, die einen besseren Ausheileffekt gewährleisten;Intermediate forming conditions are determined which provide a better Ensure the healing effect;
Die Zwischenformierung läßt sich niemals unter den gleichen Bedingungen durchführen wie die Vorformierung, so daß der ursprünglicheAccording to the invention, the second route is taken, since this route appears to be the more promising. The intermediate formation can never be carried out under the same conditions as the preforming, so that the original

The state of the oxide layer can never be completely restored during intermediate forming.
A simple way of avoiding damage to the oxide layer during the pyrolysis of the manganese nitrate is to carry out the pyrolysis at relatively low furnace temperatures. Normally, for the pyrolysis of said manganese nitrate in the furnace a temperature from 280 to 300 0 G is maintained. However, lowering the temperature below about 280 ° C. results in longer pyrolysis times and again leads to poorer values for the capacitors. According to the invention, therefore, another way is proposed. In this case, the high furnace temperatures can be maintained and, despite this, no damage to the dielectric occurs during the pyrolysis, so that high intermediate forming voltages are possible.
Diese schonende roAccording to a preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention it is provided that zinc oxide is built into at least the first manganese dioxide layer and that zinc nitrate is added to the solution of manganese nitrate in water for this purpose. The decomposition temperature of manganese nitrate is 150 G, that of zinc nitrate at 240 ° C. It can be assumed that the addition of zinc nitrate has a particularly advantageous effect on the high intermediate forming voltage that can be achieved because there is a large span of approx 9O 0 C. is what a very gentle influence not only the first, but of the entire pyrolysis process to the dielectric means. This gentle ro

Treatment of the entire pyrolysis process can be imagined that the first pyrolysis of the manganese nitrate in one Melt of zinc nitrate takes place. The zinc nitrate is only thermally decomposed when all or at least most of it of the manganese nitrate is pyrolytically cleaved. This process can be repeated in the subsequent pyrolysis, since the zinc oxide in the first layer with the nitrous gacene formed during the pyrolysis of the pure manganese nitrate can convert back to zinc nitrate. As a result, zinc oxide also gets into the subsequent manganese dioxide layers, which pass through Pyrolysis of pure manganese nitrate can be produced.
Außerdem besteht noch ein anderer Grund für die besonders vorteilhafte Verwendung von Zinkoxid als Zusatz: Nickel und Kobalt ändern während derThe additions of nickel nitrate or cobalt nitrate proposed in the main patent do not show this advantageous effect to the same extent. This is because, as the underlying studies it has been shown in the present invention, mainly that the decomposition temperature of the nickel nitrate and cobalt nitrate are of manganese nitrate in the vicinity of the decomposition temperature, namely at 195 + 1O 0 C for nickel nitrate and at 210+ 10 0 C for cobalt nitrate. In the main patent, the first manganese dioxide layer was therefore deposited with normal conductivity, i.e. without additives. According to the invention, however, it is proposed to build zinc oxide into the first layer of manganese dioxide, because the gentle pyrolysis of the zinc nitrate and manganese nitrate mixture prevents damage to the dielectric during pyrolysis. There is also another reason for the particularly advantageous use of zinc oxide as an additive: nickel and cobalt change during the

The resulting mixed oxides, for example NiO / HipO ^ or more precisely NiO 1 , - have semiconductor properties like manganese dioxide. Zinc, on the other hand, retains its properties during pyrolysis. ·
Die bevorzugte, Zinknitrat enthaltende Mangannitratlösung enthält 5-6, insbesondere 5, 7 Gew'i Zinknitrat Zn(NO,)2» 12 - 15, insbesondere 13,0 Gewjo Mangannitrat 1.In(NO,, )«> Rest V/asser.The best results, both in terms of good adhesion of the manganese dioxide layers and in terms of a high intermediate forming voltage, are achieved if the total concentration of nitrates in the aqueous solution for the production of the first manganese dioxide layer is only set to about 18-20% by weight. Such diluted solutions wet the anode bodies well. When using zinc nitrate as an additive to the manganese nitrate solution, a content of 5-6 percent by weight of zinc nitrate in the manganese nitrate solution was found to be optimal. Higher zinc nitrate contents cause an increase in the loss factor of the capacitors, while lower contents practically no longer have any influence on the intermediate forming voltage that can be achieved. The preferred manganese nitrate solution containing zinc nitrate contains 5-6, in particular 5, 7 parts by weight of zinc nitrate Zn (NO,) 2 »12-15, especially 13.0% by weight manganese nitrate 1.In (NO ,,)«> remainder V / water .
SO + 50C ·An even better wetting of the anode body through these solutions can be achieved when the dilute nitrate solution, which is used to apply the first layer of manganese dioxide is heated, vorsugoweise to the Y / asserbad to about SO + 5 0 C ·

Die letzten Schichten können aus noch höher konzentrierten Lösungen oder aus Mangannitratschmelzen aufgebracht werden, beispielsweise aus einer Schmelze von Mn(NO,)2·4 H2O, die einer 71,3 Gew^igen Mangannitratlösung entspricht.first manganese dioxide layer such a diluted manganese nitrate solution mixed with additives as provided by the invention is used and the further layers are produced with finormal conductivity. For example, more concentrated manganese nitrate solutions can be used for the production of the further layers in order to keep the number of impregnations required small. Aqueous solutions containing 30-50% by weight of manganese nitrate are advantageous for the production of the later layers of brownstone. The last layers can be applied from even more highly concentrated solutions or from manganese nitrate melts, for example from a melt of Mn (NO,) 2 · 4 H 2 O, which corresponds to a 71.3% strength by weight manganese nitrate solution.
Pure a particularly even coating of the anode body with the layers of manganese dioxide, it is advantageous if the anode bodies soaked with the manganese nitrate solution during the pyrolysis of manganese nitrate are rotated about their axis or about an axis parallel to its axis.
It has already been proposed that is annealed, the coated with the oxide film anode bodies at temperatures which are substantially example performs to 100 or 200 0 C, higher than the later applied pyrolysis temperature, that preferably the annealing under the exclusion of oxygen and in that the annealed anode body is formed again at an electrical voltage that comes close to the electrical voltage used during pre-forming, and only then does the manganese dioxide

During tempering, the anode metal surface adjoining the oxide layer becomes saturated with oxygen which diffuses out of the oxide layer, so that in the subsequent pyrolysis of the manganese nitrate no more oxygen migrates from the dielectric into the anode metal. The oxygen migrated during annealing will be delivered again when reforming. In the method according to the invention, this pretreatment of the anode body, which is referred to as "thermal stabilization" can be used with particular advantage, because through this Pretreatment will damage the dielectric during

der Pyrolyse des Mangannitrats/Sauerstoffabwanderung von vornherein in niedrigen Grenzen gehalten, und die Verlustfaktoren der Kondensatoren werden beträchtlich gesenkt.the pyrolysis of the manganese nitrate / oxygen migration from the start kept within low limits, and the loss factors of the capacitors are reduced considerably.
Dadurch, daß die Konsentration der zum Aufbringen der ersten Braunsteinschicht verwendeten MangnnnitratlÖsung sehr gering eingestellt ist, werden die Anodenkörper gut benetzt und gut haftende, diclrb Schichten gebildet.that it is essential that the first, i.e. immediately on the manganese dioxide layer applied to the dielectric layer has a reduced conductivity, and that the manganese nitrate added compound must be such that it decomposes to oxide at a temperature which is considerable above the actual decomposition temperature of the manganese nitrate, so that the formation of the semiconducting oxide layer practically takes place in two steps however, the advantages of the higher intermediate forming voltage can be seen can already be achieved if only the first layer of manganese dioxide has a zinc oxide content. It forms here a conductivity gradient over the entire layers of brownstone from, such that the layer adjoining the dielectric the lowest and the most recently applied manganese dioxide layer has the highest conductivity. This will make the effect the manganese dioxide layer of reduced electrical conductivity is particularly effective as an "electron brake". The training of the Conductivity gradients in the brownstone layer are explained by the fact that the zinc oxide formed during the first pyrolysis in the subsequent coating and thermal decomposition of the manganese nitrate partially dissolved again and in this subsequent Brownstone layers are installed. By the fact that the consentration the manganese nitrate solution used to apply the first layer of manganese dioxide is set to be very low the anode body well wetted and well-adhering, diclrb layers educated.
