Sicherungssockel für Sicherungselemente Zusatz zu Patent .... (Patentanmeldung
Fuse base for fuse elements Addition to patent .... (patent application
M 71 214 VIIIb / 21e) The subject of the main patent is a fuse base for fuse elements
For receiving, in particular, fuses, consisting of a thermoplastic
Plastic-made insulating body with threaded sleeve and foot contact rail that
is fastened by means of pins formed on the insulating body. With such a
Safety soils are used to attach the foot contact rail and the threaded sleeve
no more screws required. This eliminates the need to work with casting compound,
in the known embodiments of fuse bases to secure the
Fastening screws is used. In detail is according to the proposal of the main patent
an upright pin at the bottom of the fuse base
molded,
which is passed through the foot contact rail and then welded onto the rail
is. This has proven itself to be good, but it is a problem with regard to the assembly of the
Fuse base could still be improved. The foot contact rail is namely from
inserted into the insulating body from the side. In the embodiment according to
The main patent requires a simultaneous tilting of the foot contact rail,
in order to be able to first guide them over the pin until the foot contact rail with
the hole provided for this purpose lies over the pin and can be pressed down.
This is awkward considering the mass production of such fuse bases.
The invention is based on the object of the fuse base according to the main patent
so further to train and improve that the foot contact rail without tilting or
Lifting parallel to the base of the plinth into its final position from the side into the
Insulating body can be used.
etwa gegenüberliegenden Stellen randseitig offene Ausnehmungen aufweist, in welche
This object is achieved according to the invention in a fuse base of
Features mentioned at the outset are achieved in that the foot contact rail is connected to two
approximately opposite points at the edge has open recesses into which
the pegs snap into place. Preferably, the pins are more than on the bottom of the insulating body
running upright cones. A practical arrangement is the foot contact rail
extended over the middle of the fuse base and are attached to the extension

the tenons provided. The recesses are located
thus in a part of the foot contact rail that is no longer electrically stressed, see above
that in their electrically stressed part of the full @ rail cross-section for current conduction
is available. A particularly advantageous embodiment is characterized in that
that the foot contact rail tapers from the recesses to the rail end
and with the end of the rail in a preventing the rail from being lifted over the pins
The recess of the insulating body engages, the taper leaves wedge surfaces as it were
arise that when the foot contact rail is inserted into the insulating body, the pegs
Push to the side until they can snap into the recesses in the foot contact rail.
The advantages achieved by the invention consist essentially
in that when assembling the fuse base, the foot contact rail with a
single handle can be mounted in the insulator, since it is only required
is to push the foot contact rail into the insulator from the side.
The foot contact rail automatically locks into its final position, others
Operations to fix them are no longer required. In addition, needs

or the like.
to be weakened, so that the width or strength
the foot contact rail designed less than the known embodiments
can be, resulting in material savings of up to about 20% with regard to the contact rail
has the consequence.
