Description
Printed circuit board for individual circuit sections arranged one above the other in several levels. The invention relates to a printed circuit board with planar cable runs for individual circuit sections arranged one above the other in several planes.
Circuits with printed circuit boards of the aforementioned type are also under known as multi-level circuits. They were developed in order to accommodate an optimum of circuit structures in the smallest possible area to be able to. As is well known, laminated conductor tracks can, in contrast to wiring are only arranged in one level and also not arbitrarily close to one another, so that a concentration of circuit arrangements in one level with only one Location of conductor tracks are relatively narrow. A well-known move in the direction of a concentration of circuit arrangements is the attachment of a further conductor lamination on the back of the circuit board. But this solution is not sufficient in all cases, so that later one went over to several du.-eh insulating layers to arrange separate conductor track levels one above the other, namely especially where there is a high accumulation of conductor tracks for technical reasons can not accommodate in one or two levels. A particular problem is with these conductor tracks, which are arranged in several levels, at different points necessary galvanic connections from one conductor level to the other for the purpose of electrical Connection of the individual circuit parts with one another. With two-level circuits with conductor tracks arranged on both sides of the circuit board is known the so-called through-hole plating or through-plating is used. This is a Copper layer applied electrolytically to the inner wall of the hole in question and the upper and lower conductor tracks are galvanically connected in this way. This However, in the case of printed circuit boards with punched holes, the method makes difficulties in than the inner wall has a very brittle surface on which I have a uniform strong copper layer cannot be applied well and the mechanical stress " e.g. by inserting components, can easily be damaged. Step through it very slight galvanic interruptions in the through-plating. This iür an electrical circuit becomes serious deficiency with increasing plate thickness getting bigger. In practice, such galvanic interruptions are bad recognizable and therefore difficult to remove. Also ... are plated through Connection points wetted with solder from both sides and therefore in the event of a repair difficult to unsolder again.
With the invention, the aforementioned deficiencies are now eliminated that the planar lines arranged one above the other are common and continuous Exclusion bores for the circuit components to be connected, which are of one circuit level to the other have differently large graduated diameters. This design - a printed circuit board is ensured without additional through-hole measures - that the solder from an immersion soldering bath safely reaches the sielles, where a galvanic Connection must be established. Solder points also appear here on only one side of the board, which makes it easier to unsolder when repairs are made. Ultimately, what is also more advantageous electrically, then only the components on the side of the board that is not occupied with conductor tracks, so that additional insulation measures are required for certain components opposite to there intersecting conductor tracks are omitted.
An advantageous further development of the subject matter of the invention then consists in the fact that at points with a particularly high density of the connecting lines running there, the planar line runs are combined in sectors, depending on the line density, to form multilayered conductor track planes of different thickness. This measure enables the conductor concentration to be precisely adapted to the technical structure in a cost-saving manner. Finally, according to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, in the interconnect level, which is not to be connected in each case, only one solder eye without interconnect connection is arranged in the insertion hole for a circuit component to ensure reliable solder passage. Further details of the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings.
In Fig. 1, in section and a section of a made up of insulating base plate 1 shown with in this embodiment, three layers of conductor paths, and that the conductor tracks 2,3 and 4. In the base plate 1 is the Auschlußdraht 5 of the circuit component 6 adapted bore 7 provided . In the overlying conductor or circuit levels 2, 3 and 4, the corresponding bores are designed to become larger in stages. It can be seen from the section through the connection point of the component 6 that the solder 8 can reliably run into the connection bore and along the connecting wire 5 to the individual conductor path solderings.
In the illustration of FIG. 2, the middle connection consists only of one soldering rod 9, which is intended to cause the solder to run through to the conductor track 2. In Fig. 3 it is shown how to proceed if the conductor track 2 is not to be connected. Here the hole diameter in the conductor track 2 is so large that no solder can run towards a metallic surface.
Mit dieser Maßnahine kann man den Aufwand für eine Mehrebenenschaltungsplatte noch bedeutend verringern.4 finally shows a differently concentrated structure, with a corresponding number of conductor track layers, here for example 10 , 11, 12 and 13 , and only two layers 10 and 11 next to it , and only two layers 10 and 11 to the left Then again two conductor tracks 14 and 15 are provided and next to it only one conductor track 16. With this measure, the effort for a multilevel circuit board can be significantly reduced.
