gefördert, so be-
vorzugsweise rechteckigem Querschnitt bestehen.
in drei Abschnitte* unterteilten Dampfweges bzw. Kondensationsraumes vorzunehmcn.
Air-cooled condenser The invention relates to an air-cooled condenser for condensing the exhaust steam from steam engines and relates in particular to the regulation of the output of the condenser, the cooling air flow of which is generated by natural drafts. Air as a cooling medium has the advantage that it is available anywhere and anytime in unlimited quantities. When using them as a cooling medium, however, the following disadvantages must be accepted: The low specific heat and the unfavorable heat transfer conditions lead to very large heat exchange areas and large free cross-sections for the cooling air flow through the heat exchanger and thus to large spatial dimensions of such a system. Air as a cooling medium can also assume temperatures well below freezing point, which requires special structural measures on such condensers, so that both undesired heat loss due to undercooling of the condensate occurring on the steam side, but in particular ice formation from the condensate, is prevented Condenser can lead. An air condenser is dimensioned according to * the amount of steam to be precipitated at a certain absolute pressure and a certain outside air temperature with a view to the required performance. The effects of such a design are as follows: with partial load operation of the upstream machine, whose exhaust steam is to be condensed, as well as with outside air temperatures below Due to the larger available temperature gradient, the available heat exchange surface is inevitably too large for the design temperature. The condenser reacts to any underload with the formation of a higher vacuum and, depending on the selected steam condensate routing in the steam space of the heat exchanger, undesired condensate subcooling occurs, which in the case of severe cheers becomes a serious danger for the condenser and the machine. At air temperatures below L 0 C the resulting condensate solidifies to ice, which can lead to the destruction of the condenser. It provides a vacuum, which if desired is far below the limit vacuum of the machine, whereby the blades (usually is - is- # by steam turbines to act) by -iberhöhte Endnässe of the steam also is exposed to the destruction. '' These dangers must be observed for the operating behavior of air-cooled condensers. The risk of ice formation can be countered by using a so-called dephlegmatory steam condensate system. However, the possibility of falling below the limit vacuum makes it necessary to adapt the performance of the capacitor to the respective machine performance. There are practically only two possibilities for regulating the performance of air-cooled condensers: a) The regulation of the cooling air passed through the heat exchangers of the condensers, b) The connection and disconnection of heat exchange surfaces during operation. There are also two possibilities for conveying the relatively large flow of cooling air through the heat exchanger of a condenser: 0) conveying the cooling air by means of a fan, d) conveying the cooling air by natural drafts using the natural buoyancy of the cooling air heated in the heat exchangers in conjunction with a Chimney. If the cooling air conveyed with the aid of fans through the condenser heat exchanger, so loading rides the control of the KUhlluftmenge and thus the adaptation d, -: -, r performance of the capacitor to the respective Naschinenleistung or to a given cooling air temperature no difficulties. By appropriately subdividing the fan output, the amount of cooling air can be changed in a simple manner by switching individual fans on and off or by regulating fans. However, since in many cases the machine and maintenance costs are very high when cooling air is conveyed by fans, cooling air conveyance through natural drafts is to be preferred - as is already done with water re-cooling in evaporative cooling towers. However, this promotion has the disadvantage that natural train can not be regulated and turned off in the large dimensions of such a system in question. The size of the cooling air flow and thus the cooling effect must rather be accepted in the size as it is due to the atmospheric conditions, i.e. in the winter months at low air temperatures the cooling air flow and thus the cooling effect in the heat exchangers is too large and in the In the summer months it is too small at high air temperatures if the entire system was designed for an average annual temperature at the installation site, as usual. The only way to regulate air-cooled condensers with cooling air delivery through natural drafts is the option of connecting and disconnecting the heat exchange surface in order to change the performance of the condenser. The connection and disconnection of heat exchange surfaces is known per se and has so far required equipment, which is generally undesirable in condensers for condensing exhaust steam under high vacuum. An air condensation system is known which is set up for operation with natural draft as a dry cooling tower. This is a system that works on the principle of a mixing condenser, ie cold water, which is of the same nature as the condensate itself, is injected into the exhaust steam coming from the turbine and flowing into the condenser. In order to protect such a system from icing and freezing in winter at air temperatures below-OOC, the regulation must be carried out above all by switching off the cooling surface, that is to say individual cooling elements. This shutdown of the cooling surface is inevitably associated with drainage of the relevant elements. Experience has shown that such a system must be designed in such a way that the entire pipe system of the dry cooling tower can be completely drained in about 90 seconds. Since this drainage takes place practically only under the action of gravity, the drainage lines must be dimensioned relatively large in cross section. These lines also require a large number of shut-off valves, and in view of the desired drainage time of only 90 seconds, these valves must be set up for remote control. Such facilities naturally increase the price of the system considerably. In addition, the fittings require constant monitoring, since the failure of only one valve would expose the associated exchange area to the destruction air in winter. Additional pumps are required to return the water from the storage tanks to the heat exchanger system. In winter, changes in the load on the machine require constant draining or refilling of the heat exchange elements. Taking all these aspects into account, the present invention results from the task of creating an air-cooled condenser, which is conveyed with the cooling air by natural drafts and which, in connection therewith, provides simple control the disconnection of the individual condensers . has sationzone or heat exchange surface. This object is achieved with an air-cooled natural draft condenser for condensing the exhaust steam from steam engines, which is characterized according to the invention in that the condensation area delimited by the condenser elements is divided into consecutive condensation zones by inserted guide strips, with steam or inert gas outlet openings being arranged in the area of each zone, from which lines lead to a control valve, such as a three-way valve or the like. This inventive solution leads to a considerable simplification of the operation with increased operational safety and to an improvement in economic efficiency. The condenser is advantageously constructed from tube walls which consist of internally ribbed stirrers with a preferably rectangular cross-section. The pipe walls are put together with flat iron as spacer strips in such a way that steam gasses are created between the pipe walls, which in their entirety form the vapor space of the condenser. The steam is guided in the alleys by means of guide strips that divide them into individual condensation zones. With regard to the requirements of the natural draft, the heat exchanger elements are arranged in such a way that the cooling air can flow vertically from bottom to top through the heat exchanger, the flow of which through one of the heat exchanger elements arranged above Chimney is effected. This was named the
preferably works with fully dephlegmatory steam condensate conduction to prevent condensate undercooling and egg formation, it enables the suction of non-condensable gases not only at the end but after each of the steam path or condensation space, for example, divided into three sections *. To switch the suction and thus the gradual switch-off or switch-on of the condenser, only a valve, such as a three-way valve, which is arranged in a central air suction device and can be set up for Pern actuation.

erreicht. Der Dampf durchströmt somit zunächst die Kondensationszonen

It shows: FIG. 1 a section through the condenser with the chimney for generating draft; 2 shows a section through the capacitor along line AA in Pig. 1; Fig. 3 shows a section through the condenser along line BB in Fig. 2 and Fig. 4 schematically the subdivision of the steam space of the heat exchanger into three condensation zones and the connection of the air discharge line behind each zone and the three-way valve. The structure of the condenser is described in connection with the course of the condensation process in the following: The exhaust steam from a steam engine (not shown) passes through lines 1, branch lines 2 and risers 3 into steam distribution chambers 4 of the condenser. The risers'3 reach through the condensate collecting space 5, which is arranged open to the steam distribution space 4 below the latter. From the steam distribution space 4, the steam flows into pipe lanes of the primary exchanger blocks 6. The pipe lanes of the heat exchanger blocks 6 are divided into three condensation zones by guide strips 7, 71. The guide strips 7.71 determine the path of the steam through the heat exchanger blocks 6 and reduce vortcilhaft by their inclined arrangement the free flow cross-section of the corresponding Rvhrgassen imposed by progressive condensation decrease in the flow volume. Due to the inclination of the guide strips 7.71 causing the condensate always opposite to the flow direction of the steam flow to the condensate collecting chamber 5, that is, reaches a dephlegmatorische steam condensate guide. The steam thus first flows through the condensation zone A, enters the condensation zone B via deflection chambers 8 and passes through the chambers 9 and the connecting lines 10 in the condensation zone C. The condensation zone C is on the inlet side by a beveled and in the condensate immerse-and fair Sheet metal 11 on guide strip 71 closed off from steam distribution chamber 4. The exit sides of the condensation zones C - that is the end of the possible total vapor path through the heat exchangers - are separated from the deflection chambers 8 by cover plates 12.

The selected steam path through the heat exchanger determines the connection of the air discharge line 13 to the opening 14 of the deflection chamber 8, the connection of the line 15 to the opening 16 of the chamber 9 and the connection of the line 17 to the opening 18 at the end of the steam path. The air suction lines 13915917 lead to the nozzles 131, 151, 171 of a three-way valve 19. If the three-way valve 19 releases the passage to line 17 , the three condensation drawers A, B and C are ready for operation. When there is free passage to the line 15 , the condensation zone C is switched off and when the air suction device is connected to the line 13 , the condensation zones B and C are switched off. The risers 3 , together with the steam distribution chambers or condensate collection chambers, form the supporting framework for the heat exchangers. Above the heat exchanger level, the chimney 20, which is required for conveying the cooling air and which is mounted on the supports 21 separately from the condenser, is connected.
