Eine Oberplatte, die an ihrer Aufsenfläche irgend welche Verzierung erhält, ist geprefst, wie Fig. ι zeigt. Sie hat in der Mitte eine runde Oeffnung b und an dem äufseren Rand drei Schlitze a, durch welche entsprechende Metalllappen c des Untertheils, Fig. 2, hindurchgesteckt und eventuell zur Vereinigung beider umgebogen werden. Dieser Untertheil, Fig. 2, hat in seiner Mitte einen Schlitz e und quer zu diesem eine gedrückte Nuth d. Vor der Vereinigung dieser beiden Theile durch die Lappen c wird, wie in Fig. 6 gezeigt, eine glockenartige Feder k, Fig. 5, dazwischen eingesetzt, die ihrerseits wiederum eine Oeffnung / enthält. Fig. 3 und 4 zeigen die untere Knopfplatte f mit ihrem bandartigen Steg 2; diese Form ist gewählt, damit sich der fragliche Steg besser dem Knopfloch anpasse.
