Description
Method and device for the treatment of solid or liquid particles in a centrifugal force field The invention relates to a method and devices for Treatment of solid or liquid particles in a centrifugal field.
There are already numerous processes and Devices for the treatment of solid or liquid particles in centrifugal fields known. In many cases, the problem of particle precipitation also arises the centrifugal force field, because this separation of the particles represents its own Problem: It is usually quite unsatisfactory, especially when it is it is about the elimination of particles from the centrifugal force field of a cyclone, because the cyclonic flow is a three-dimensional vertebral depression. It it is known that cyclones have a so-called fraction dedusting degree, i. H. that the degree of separation towards the finer particles becomes progressively worse. The cause of this was determined to be secondary flows, as shown in FIG. 1 schematically is shown.
When the flow is deflected, centrifugal forces occur, that must be absorbed by the environment. From the flow rate (continuous Arrow lines) the secondary flow (dashed arrow line) is driven. the Secondary flow whirls particles that have already been ejected against the wall again so that it is captured by the outer flow threads of the flow through flow and partly be carried again. Logically, the finer particles are from most likely to be affected by this resuscitation. This explains the finer ones Particles towards progressively reduced separation efficiency and the degree of fraction dedusting the cyclones.
The invention is now based on the object of a method and corresponding To find devices through which these disadvantages of the cyclones or the like Principle of working. Devices are eliminated.
The solution to the problem is one generated by a flow, essentially two-dimensional vertebral cavity, which on its circumference of a stationary Flow is surrounded, in turn by the transmission of shear stress forces is driven by the flow, while rotating in the same direction as the vertebral cavity rotates, whereby the particles from the flow-through flow into the surrounding stationary Flow are thrown out, get to the periphery and in the lower part removed from the flow.
The invention is illustrated with reference to the drawing F i g. 2 to 4 on an exemplary Execution explained in more detail.
Fig. 2 shows a first embodiment for the construction of a device according to the invention. According to this, the device consists of an essentially flat cylindrical housing with the radial boundary wall 1 and the two circular disk-shaped side boundary walls 2, the supply opening 3 for the fluid, a short radial baffle 4, the central outlet opening 5 for the fluid, the outlet 6 for the separated additions and a sluice 7. To restrict the flow radially at the outlet 6, guide plates S can be provided.
In the case of the in FIG. 2 device shown in section enters the fluid with the admixtures contained therein at 3 in the device, flows through this in spiral paths 9 and leaves the device through the central outlet 5. The baffle 4 radially delimiting the inlet 3 prevents the throughflow spreads beyond the radius R. As a result of the occurring centrifugal forces the admixtures from the flow into the surrounding and with it in the same Direction of rotation rotating stationary flow 10 ejected. As from the stationary Flow ago no dragging forces in the direction of the central outlet 5 for. the flow through flow have the ejected into the steady flow Particles no possibility of being whirled back into the flow stream, as in the case of the FIG. 1 is the case in a cyclone. Under the influence of the centrifugal forces acting in the steady flow Particles to the peripheral boundary wall 1 and from there into the outlet 6. Through the lock 7, the particles are discharged from the device.
The F i g. 3 and 4 show a further embodiment of the invention Procedure. For same Parts are given the same reference numerals as in Fig. 2 related. The apparatus of this embodiment is expanded around the annular chambers 11 and 12 arranged on the circumference. These annular chambers are provided about the settling process of the particles and their removal from the rotating media to facilitate. So that the particles are removed from the rotating steady flow and can get into the outlet 6, it is necessary to control their speed reduce in the circumferential direction. To do this it is necessary to lower them in areas To create peripheral speeds. The boundary layer is at low concentrations of goods suitable for this at the periphery. With very large amounts of particles to be separated but the thickness of the boundary layer might not be sufficient to accommodate all particles, so -that gradually a strong accumulation of particles in the steady flow could be done. To prevent this from happening, it is intended to narrow the particles through Hurling ring slots 13, 14 into the ring chambers 11, 12. The ring slots are limited by conical sheets 15, 16 and a triangular cross-section Ring 17. As a result of the narrow slots 13, 14 only very little flow energy the medium is transferred in the two annular chambers 11 and 12 is rotation relatively small therein, so that the particles are slowed down and therefore lighter fall out of the flow into outlet 6.
In order to achieve particularly favorable energy conversions, it is advantageous to feed the flow leaving the central outlet 5 with a swirl directly to the impeller of an exhaustor. F i g. 4 shows an exemplary embodiment with two exhaustors 19 and 21, which are each flanged directly to one of the central outlets 5. The exhaust impellers 20 and 22 can have a common drive shaft so that only one drive motor 24 is required. This design allows a compact and particularly economical construction of a separation device according to the invention.
The invention also shows the solution for the convenient and simple implementation of an effective wet dedusting device. For this purpose, at least one opening 18 for the injection of a wetting liquid is provided in at least one of the lateral boundary walls 2, the number of openings 18 depending on the desired density of wetting in the rotating flow. The device functions essentially as previously described. The injected liquid particles move under the influence of centrifugal force to the periphery of the flow field, wetting, trapping and entraining the particles carried along by the flow. This also applies specifically to the very small particles which are initially carried along by the flow in the direction of the central outlet 5 under the influence of the drag forces of the flow through it. The liquid particles form larger "agglomerates" with the solid particles, so that the centrifugal forces outweigh the drag forces and so even the finest admixtures can be thrown out onto the peripheral boundary wall 1.
In an embodiment not shown, the wetting liquid can also be supplied through pipes projecting into the chamber. Multiple slots or nozzles in the pipes then cause an even distribution of the wetting liquid across the current. Although this leads to a slight local disturbance of the flow, which is no longer important in this area.
To prevent creeping currents along the two side Boundary walls 2 parts of the wetting liquid reach the central outlet 5, can be between this and the closest supply opening for the wetting agent a peeling edge can be provided. The liquid film creeping along the peel edge is whirled up again by the current and increases under the influence of centrifugal force ejected the radial boundary wall.
