geforderte Frequenzgenauigkeit entsprechende Quarze verwendet.
Circuit arrangement for switching the capture range of the phase synchronization of the reference oscillator in color television receivers. Here, however, a compromise has to be made between the so-called capture range - equal to that frequency range around the setpoint frequency in which the oscillator can still be synchronized - and the susceptibility to interference. The larger the capture range, the greater the susceptibility of the oscillator to interference. Switching over the capture range of the phase discriminator in the line oscillator is known for black and white image reception, but this requires additional effort in the form of a suitable amplifier stage for generating the switching current.
The invention relates to circuit arrangements for switching
the capture range of the phase synchronization of the reference oscillator in color television receivers
with the indicator that when a color signal is received, one of the color suppressor stage
("Killer") controlled chrominance amplifier direct current via a relay or a
Switching diode by bridging a divider resistor in the grid circuit of the reactance stage
of the reference oscillator automatically reduces the synchronization range and at
Receipt of a black and white signal reduced by the color suppressor stage
Chrominance amplifier direct current by dropping the relay or blocking the switching diode
the divider resistor in series with the resistor and capacitor in terms of low frequency
to increase the synchronization range can be effective. Will be expedient
here the time constant of the color suppression level ("killer") is at least as large
chosen that the reduction of the synchronization area only after correct
Synchronization of the reference oscillator begins.
The essence of the invention is described in the figures using two exemplary embodiments. In Fig. 1 , a color suppressor stage or so-called color killer is denoted by 1 , which makes the chrominance amplifier stage 2 conductive when receiving color image signals, so that a high anode current flows. In the anode circuit of this tube 2 (or correspondingly in the collector circuit of a transistor) there is a relay 3, the contact 4 of which bridges a resistor 5. The image receivers are compatible, i. That is, the color image receiving device can also be used for black and white image reception. With black-and-white reception, however, the chrominance amplifier tube 2 is blocked by the color killer 1, and the relay contact 4 is open. As a result, a larger synchronization voltage passes from the phase discriminator 6 of the reference oscillator via an RC voltage divider (7,8,9,5) to the reactance stage 10 of the reference oscillator, so that, according to the invention, a larger capture range is automatically available for black-and-white reception. If, on the other hand, color image transmissions are received, this large capture range remains in place due to the corresponding time constants of the phase discriminator and the color killer 1 until the synchronization required for the opening of the chrominance amplifier stage 2 by the color killer 1 has taken place. Only then does the anode current of the tube 2 flow to such an extent that the relay 3 responds and the switching contact 4 closes, so that the resistor 5 of the mentioned RC voltage divider is short-circuited. In this way, according to the invention , the alternating voltages coming via the voltage divider elements (7, 8, 9) from the phase discriminator 6 to the reactance stage 10 of the reference oscillator are automatically reduced to a minimum. According to this, it is essential for the invention to switch over the synchronization range when receiving from black-and-white to color signals, the synchronization range being reduced after the capture and thus inevitably reducing the susceptibility to interference in this case. The synchronization is accordingly much more independent of interference voltage. It should be noted that the time constant of the "killer" is selected to be at least large enough that the synchronization range will definitely only start to decrease when, on the other hand, perfect synchronization of the reference oscillator is guaranteed.
des in F i g. 1 behandelten Relais 3 übernimmt.
A modified embodiment of switching arrangements according to the invention is shown in FIG. 2 reproduced, where a diode 11 has the switching function of the in F i g. 1 treated relay 3 takes over. Upon receipt of a black and white image is' also blocked by the color killer 1, the Chrominanzverstärkerröhre 2, so that the diode 11 through the resistor 12 GleiQhspannungsabfall - the cross-flow through the resistors 12, 13 generates - is locked. This increases the capture area. In contrast, when color image is received, a DC voltage drop occurs at resistor 15 through the chrominance amplifier tube 2 that is now open, which must be correspondingly thinner than the reverse voltage dropping at resistor 12, so that diode 11 opens. Once the reference oscillator has been synchronized, the capture range is automatically reduced according to the invention and the susceptibility to interference is reduced.
According to the invention, an already existing circuit stage is used for this purpose in order to automatically change the capture range of the phase synchronization of the reference oscillator in the color television receiver. By using the killer phase discriminator as a control voltage with a corresponding RC delay, the capture range and thus inevitably the susceptibility of the synchronous phase discriminator to failure after synchronization can be automatically reduced with the least amount of circuit technology. In the case of black-and-white reception, on the other hand, the automatic switchover according to the invention can significantly increase the capture range compared to previous values, so that LC oscillators can now advantageously be used instead of expensive quartz oscillators. As described, the anode or collector direct current of the chrominance amplifier stage 2 controlled by the color suppressor 1 or its cathode direct current can be used as the control current.
