Die Erfindung betrifft eine zwei- oder mehrwellige Schneckenmaschine zum kontinuierlichen Aufbereiten, Mischen, Kneten, Entgasen und Extrudieren von plastischen Massen, insbesondere thermoplastischen Kunststoffmassen, bei welcher die zur jeweiligen S Massebehandlung unterschiedlichen Schneckenteile drehfest auf der Antriebswelle aufgesteckt und austauschbar sind. Der wesentliche Vorteil dieser Art Schneckenmaschinen ist, daß die Schneckenteile von ihrer Welle abgezogen und durch andere z. B. durch solche mit anderer Gewindesteigung, anderer Einzugswirkung, anderer Knet- und Mischwirkung oder anderer Auspreßwirkung ersetzt werden können.
