Description
Process for the preparation of water-soluble azo dyes It has been found that valuable water-soluble azo dyes are obtained when using diazo components, which contain an acylatable amino group but no water-solubilizing group, with azo components, the at least one water-solubilizing group and optionally contain an acylatable amino group, and before or after coupling through Reaction with an agent releasing the acrylic acid residue, the acylatable amino group (s) converted into acryloylamino group (s).
Groups which make water solubility are above all sulfonic acid groups called.
The introduction of the acryloyl radical in diazo components, coupling components or azo dyes containing one or more acylatable primary or secondary amino groups contain, done according to methods known per se, for. B. by reacting the amino compound with the chloride or the anhydride of acrylic acid.
As diazo components, which are acylated to acryloylamino derivatives are implemented are, for example: 1-Amino-3- (or 4) -acryloylaminobenzene and their derivatives, the halogen atoms, alkyl groups and alkyl sulfone groups on the benzene nucleus wear.
B. die Sulfonsäuren der Acryloylaminohydroxynaphthaline, wie 1-Acryloylamino-8-hydroxynaphthalin-3,6-disulfonsäure oder die Sulfonsäuren von Pyrazolonen, wie 1-(Acryloylamino)-sulfophenyl-3-methylpyrazolon-(5).Suitable coupling components are all coupling-capable systems, so benzene or naphthalene derivatives and heterocyclic compounds that at least a water-solubilizing group and optionally one or more acryloylamino groups included, e.g. B. the sulfonic acids of acryloylaminohydroxynaphthalenes, such as 1-acryloylamino-8-hydroxynaphthalene-3,6-disulfonic acid or the sulfonic acids of pyrazolones such as 1- (acryloylamino) sulfophenyl-3-methylpyrazolone- (5).
The new dyes are suitable for dyeing and printing structures, such as fibers, threads, flakes, foils, woven and knitted fabrics made of natural and synthetic, Dyed goods containing carboxamide groups, such as wool, natural silk, linear polyamides, linear polyurethanes and leather. The parts given in the examples are parts by weight. example 1 16.2 parts of 1-amino-4-acryloylaminobenzene are dissolved in 100 parts of water and 25 parts Hydrochloric acid (d = 1.15) dissolved. After adding 100 parts of ice, the mixture is diazotized thoroughly slowly adding a solution of 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite in 20 parts of water. The solution of the diazo compound is stirred for 1/2 hour and then left at 5 up to 10 ° C in a solution of 22.4 parts of 2-hydroxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid, 4 parts Run sodium hydroxide and 16 parts of sodium carbonate into 320 parts of water. To The coupling is complete in 2 to 3 hours. The dye is made by adding sodium chloride completely deposited, filtered off with suction and dried at 40 ° C in a vacuum. The received Brown-red dye powder, which dissolves in water with a deep red color, dyes wool from a weakly acidic bath very real and evenly in bright red tones.
Is used as a coupling component instead of 2-hydroxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid 25.4 parts of 1- (phenyl-3-sulfonic acid) -3-methylpyrazolone- (5) and proceed as above described, a dye is obtained, the wool with a deep orange-yellow color very real and evenly colored.
Example 2 16.2 parts of 4-acryloylamino-1-aminobenzene are dissolved in 100 parts of water with the addition of 25 parts of concentrated hydrochloric acid. After adding 100 parts of ice, the mixture is diazotized by adding an aqueous solution of 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite. The clear diazonium salt solution is allowed to run into a solution of 38.3 parts of 1-acryloylamino-8-hydroxynaphthalene-4,6-disulfonic acid, 12 parts of sodium hydroxide and 5.3 parts of anhydrous sodium carbonate in 100 parts of water. After stirring for 12 hours, the dye formed is separated off by adding 100 parts of sodium chloride, filtered off with suction and dried in vacuo at 40 ° C. It dyes wool in clear, very wet-fast violet shades. Example 3 19.7 parts of 1-amino-2-chloro-4-acryloylaminobenzene are dissolved in a mixture of 100 parts of water and 25 parts of aqueous hydrochloric acid (d = 1.15). After adding 100 parts of ice, the mixture is diazotized by slowly adding a solution of 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite in 20 parts of water. The solution of the diazonium compound is stirred for 1/2 hour and then left very slowly with stirring at 5 to 10 ° C. in a solution of 23.9 parts of 2-amino-8-hydroxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid and 4 parts of sodium hydroxide 300 parts of water to which so much aqueous hydrochloric acid has previously been added that the reaction of the solution is weakly acidic to the Congo. The reaction of the reaction mixture is kept at pH 3 to 4 by simultaneously adding dilute aqueous sodium acetate solution. The coupling has ended after 12 hours. The resulting dye is then deposited by adding sodium chloride, filtered off with suction and dried at 40 ° C. in a vacuum. It dyes wool very real in bordeaux red tones. Example 4 21.6 parts of (2-amino-5-nitrophenyl) methyl sulfone are dissolved in 100 parts of acetic acid and 15 parts of aqueous hydrochloric acid (d = 1.15). The solution is then carefully cooled to 5 to 10 ° C. and diazotized by slowly adding a solution of 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite in 20 parts of water. The reaction mixture is stirred for a further 1 hour and then slowly poured into a well-cooled solution of 16 parts of 1,8-dihydroxynaphthalene-3,6-disulfonic acid, 40 parts of sodium hydroxide and 25 parts of sodium carbonate in 400 parts of water, the temperature not being the same should rise above 10 ° C. The reaction of the reaction mixture is obtained by adding dilute aqueous sodium carbonate solution to pH 8 to 9. The coupling is complete after 6 to 8 hours. Now one carries - an aqueous solution of. 40 parts of sodium sulfide are added to the reaction mixture and the mixture is stirred for a further 12 to 16 hours at 50 ° C. The disazo dye formed, which contains amino groups, is then separated off from the cooled solution by adding sodium chloride and filtered off with suction. It is then dissolved in a mixture of 300 parts of water and 100 parts of acetone. First 20 parts of sodium bicarbonate are introduced into this solution and then 22 parts of acryloyl chloride are introduced very slowly at 0 ° to -5 ° C. with thorough stirring. After stirring for one hour at 0 to -5 ° C., the reaction material is separated off by adding sodium chloride, filtered off with suction and dried at 40 ° C. in vacuo. The dye obtained in the form of a brown-black powder dyes wool in violet-black shades with good fastness properties. Example s 19.2 parts of 1-amino-3-acryloylamino-6-methoxybenzene are dissolved in 100 parts of water and 25 parts of hydrochloric acid (d = 1.15). After adding 100 parts of ice, the mixture is diazotized by slowly adding a solution of 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite in 20 parts of water. The solution of the diazo compound is stirred for 1/2 hour and then left at 3 to 6 ° C. in a solution of 28.9 parts of 1- (2-chlorophenyl-5-sulfonic acid) -3-methylpyrazolone- (5), 4 Run in parts of sodium hydroxide and 16 parts of sodium carbonate in 320 parts of water. The coupling is complete after 2 to 3 hours. The dye is completely separated off by adding sodium chloride, filtered off with suction and dried at 40 ° C. in a vacuum. The yellow-brown dye powder obtained dyes wool from a weakly acidic bath very fast in brilliant yellow tones.
