Brake shoe for an inner or outer shoe brake The invention relates
on a brake shoe for an inner or outer shoe brake, with one in theirs
clear width adjustable, the jaw bolt receiving hole.
The known constructions of this type are disadvantageous in that
when they have a not insignificant pitching moment of the brake shoe around the brake shoe bolt
allow around. An adjustable fastening device is already known,
both jaws can be moved about a common pivot axis. The cheeks
can be spread apart, so that an enlarged opening for receiving a head
a counter plate is created; this head is then overlapped by the cheek ends.
Lateral approaches also go from these jaws. Between the bearing plate, the
The jaws and the lugs are provided with coil springs. Thus the beak feathers are
supported. The springs push the jaws, which are spread outwards, inwards, that is
towards the head of the counter plate.
However, the known fastening device does not serve as a brake shoe
and must necessarily have two equivalent jaws. This construction can
therefore the gauge should not be removed, as is the case with a brake shoe for an inner
or external shoe brake, the disadvantageous nodding movement in a particularly effective way
can be eliminated or at least substantially reduced, with the relief of
Assembly of the brake shoe.
befestigten Backenbolzen hierbei auszubauen.
According to the invention for a brake shoe, for an inner or outer shoe brake,
with a bore that is adjustable in its clear width and accommodates the jaw bolt
suggested that this hole is firmly connected to the friction lining carrier by a
Hub half and one in the manner of a known snapper on a protruding one
Approach of the hub half hinged bearing shell is limited. Because the brake pad carrier
is sufficiently stiff and large, the reaction force of the bearing shell is absorbed.
In order to mount or replace the brake shoe, it is only necessary to
to push the snap away from the bolt until the brake shoe is off the bolt
can simply be peeled off. It is no longer necessary to use a brake linkage
to remove the attached jaw bolts. Since now the center or the
Center line of the jaw bolt in the best possible way to the front edge of the friction lining
can be introduced, the pitching moment generated by the brake disc
acting circumferential force is caused to the center of the jaw bolt
negligibly small. In a further embodiment of the invention is the Schnepper
simplified in that it has two arms angled towards the bearing shell. at
this version requires only one closing spring, which is the bearing shell
presses against the jaw bolt.
und F i g. 2 eine stirnseitige Ansicht der Bremsbacke nach F i g. 1.The invention is explained with reference to the drawing, the schematic
Exemplary embodiments are shown: F i g. 1 shows a side view of an outer brake shoe
and F i g. 2 shows an end view of the brake shoe according to FIG. 1.
Backenbolzen teilweise umgreift. Nabenhälfte 12 und Lagerschale 20 stehen also einander
The brake shoe consists essentially of the friction lining carrier 10 and a catch 18. The catch is pivotably suspended on a shoulder 13 via two arms 19 (FIG. 2) and a bolt 15 which penetrates the bore 14. The pivot point of the snapper 18 is thus arranged at a distance from the bore 11 of the jaw bolt. The shoulder 13 is connected to a hub half 12 of the friction lining carrier 10 and is preferably made in one piece with it. The snap 18 is angled at right angles from the arms 19 so that a bearing shell 20 is created which partially engages around the jaw bolt, not shown. Hub half 12 and bearing shell 20 are therefore opposite one another, so that they represent a uniform bore interrupted by a gap. On the other hand, at its lower end the Schnepper merges into a second extension 18 ′, which is opposite the extension 13. These approaches have bores 21, 22 which are aligned with one another and in which a helical compression spring 17 is arranged. This spring 17 or its longitudinal axis is at a distance from the axis of rotation of the bolt 15, so that a force transmission ratio to the bearing shell 20 is given.
From the drawings it can be seen that by moving the bearing shell 20 away from the hub half 12, the width of the bore 11 can be enlarged sufficiently to introduce the jaw bolt. If you let go of the snap or the bearing shell 20 again, the spring 17 presses against the other attachment end 18 '. The moment of force of this lever arm is transmitted via the bearing shell 20 to the jaw bolt, not shown, so that it is pressed in the direction of the friction lining to the right (FIG. 1) into the opening 11 and against the friction lining carrier. This frictional engagement of the jaw bolt on the friction lining carrier advantageously reduces the pitching moments of the brake shoe to a minimum.
