Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einer Metallbüchse, deren beide getrennte Hälften α a¹ in ihren seitlichen Ansätzen durch Niete b derart drehbar verbunden sind, dafs sie scheerenartig gegen einander klappen. Der untere kürzere und schmalere Büchsentheil entspricht der Oeffnufig im Besen B, in welcher der Stiel S. befestigt werden soll, und ist behufs festeren Angreifens in das Holz aufsen mit Stacheln s versehen. Der obere, längere, breitere und mit Innenstacheln s versehene BUchsentheil dient zur Aufnahme des Stieles 5 (Fig. 1). Der Bügel d, dessen eingewickelte Enden in den Stiften c der oberen Büchsenhälfte α ihren Drehpunkt haben, bewirkt bei seinem Eingreifen in die an dem BUchseritheil a¹ befestigten Stifte e ein Zusammendrücken der beiden längeren und ein Auseinanderdrücken der kürzeren Büchsentheile. Beim Zusammenpressen der oberen, längeren Büchsenhälften wird aber der Stiel S eingeklemmt, während die unteren, kürzeren Büchsenhälften beim Auseinanderspreizen sich mit ihren Stacheln fest an die Wand der Bohrung im Besen anpressen.
