BEKANNTMACHUNG DER ANMELDUNG UNDAUSGABE DER AUSLEGESCHRIFT: 25. APRIL 1963NOTICE THE REGISTRATION AND ISSUE OF EDITORIAL: APRIL 25, 1963
a) 160 g (1 Mol) Malonsäurediäthylester wurdenIt is known (Angewandte Chemie, Vol. 72, 1960, p. 77) that malonic acid dinitrile and cyanoacetic acid esters can be condensed with derivatives of formamide in the presence of acetic anhydride to give the corresponding aminomethylene malonic acid ester nitriles and dinitriles with elimination of water. In contrast, this reaction fails with malonic acid diesters, as can be clearly seen from the following test results,

sind wertvolle Zwischenprodukte zur Herstellung von Heilmitteln.are valuable intermediate products in the manufacture of medicinal products.
Other processes for the production of the same or similar compounds are already known, especially from U.S. Patents 2,638,480, 2,504,895, 2,504,896 and 2,441,130.
However, the process of US Pat. No. 2,638,480 gives significantly lower yields than the process of the invention. The processes of U.S. Patents 2,504,895, 2,504,896 and 2,441,130 have the disadvantage over the process of the invention that the orthoformic acid esters or α-haloacrylic acid esters used as starting materials are difficult to obtain.

in 300 ecm Toluol anteilweise eingetragen. Das Dimethylaminomethylenmethyläthylketon partially registered in 300 ecm of toluene. The mixture is allowed to stand 15 hours and then heated it for 1 hour at 40 0 C. The precipitate consisting of sodium chloride and triethylamine hydrochloride, is filtered off and subjected to fractional distillation, the toluene solution.
