Description
Cupola furnace with hot blast generation in recuperators The invention refers to a cupola furnace with hot blast generation in recuperators, at the furnace gases in afterburning and dust collection chambers attached to the furnace completely burned out and dedusted with the addition of additional combustion air will.
It is known in a cupola with hot wind generation by exhaust heat the exhaust gases intended for use in chambers arranged directly on the furnace to clean and burn afterwards, so that the cupola furnace with its chambers for the Gas cleaning and Nachverbrcnnung and the recuperator forms a structural unit. It is also known to direct the exhaust gases through ducts that are concentric around the furnace shaft are arranged.
The object of the invention is to provide effective cleaning of the Cupola coming exhaust gases before entering the recuperators in a space-saving To achieve arrangement of the corresponding channels and chambers. This is according to the invention achieved in that both the afterburning chambers and the separation chambers as well as the recuperators are housed in the annular spaces concentrically surrounding the cupola furnace are. the channels intended for discharging the Ab-a, .e from the cupola are uniform are distributed over the circumference and sloping downwards.
With the arrangement according to the invention, the afterburning chamber and the dust separation chambers merge into one another or so in one with one or several dust separating funnels also equally distributed over the circumference or outlet channels provided afterburning space are combined. that the exhaust gases emerging from the furnace downwards in a manner known per se diverted at the top and then fed into the recuperators. The recuperators can also consist of several independently operated, preferably with There are individual elements provided with separate air and gas ducts, which are concentric arranged around the furnace shaft and evenly distributed over its circumference are.
For the purification of the gases it is essential that they are in one for a Fiiehkraft treatment favorable space is made. The evenly on the Circumferentially distributed channels will advantageously open out tangentially and thereby point downwards. The channels will be allowed to protrude somewhat into the separation space and change the direction of flow of the gases, so that already a coarse separation entry. A further gas cleaning is achieved that one for the afterburning introduces certain air tangentially into the deflected gas flow. To this end are preferably at different heights in the area of the gas ducts on the circumference Evenly distributed air nozzles are provided, which can be selected as a function of can be operated by the fluctuating exhaust gas conditions. The cleaned ones and post-burned exhaust gases are fed into the recuperator, where they are generated exploited the hot wind. If the recuperator is arranged concentrically around the furnace, so it is advantageous to put it together from several individual recuperators and to arrange them distributed over the circumference of the furnace. Here z. B. one or one or more individual recuperators can be assigned to several hot blast nozzles.
In certain cases it may be necessary to use the internal, the deposition and simultaneous afterburning serving cylindrical annulus of a second to surround cylindrical space in which the gases are led downwards, diverted here and pressurize the recuperator in a countercurrent. With such an arrangement is by diverting the gases before entry into the advantageous with a distance around The individual recuperators distributed over the circumference caused a further separation. The separated parts of the inner and outer annular space can be withdrawn together will.
The particular advantage of the invention is that on the smallest Space an extensive separation and thus cleaning of the exhaust gases used without special effort is brought about, so that the risk of contamination for the recuperator in tolerable limits can be kept. It also offers the invention the possibility of an overall compact design of a hot blast cupola furnace.
The described and other details are based on the drawing explained below using an exemplary embodiment.
Abb. 1 zeigt eine Heißwind-Kupolofenanlage im senkrechten Längsschnitt und Abb. 2 einen Ouerschnitt nach der Linie A -A der Abb. 1.Fig. 1 shows a hot blast cupola furnace in a vertical longitudinal section and Fig. 2 is a cross-section along the line A-A of Fig. 1.
From your cupola 1 , the exhaust gases enter the downwardly directed channels 2 in the jacket 3 into the cylindrical post-combustion chamber 4 serving as a separation and combustion chamber. In this space 4 5 air is introduced through tangentially arranged nozzles, which promotes the afterburning. In the upper part of the cleaned and Nachverbrennungsraumes 4 afterburned exhaust gases flow into the space 4 surrounding part of the annular space 6, from which they exit at 7 and a hood, not shown, are supplied. A coherent recuperator is provided in the annular space 6. However, several individual recuperators 8 (see Fig. 2) can also be arranged. On the other hand, the cleaned and post-burned exhaust gases can also be fed to a conventional recuperator that is present elsewhere.
Fresh air is fed to the recuperators 8 through the feed line 9 , which is fed as a hot blast through the lines 10 to the hot blast nozzles 11 on the cupola furnace 1 . The parts separated from the exhaust gases in the lower part of the post-combustion chamber 4 are collected in dust separating funnels at various points around the circumference and discharged from the outlet ducts 12. The design of the recuperator with regard to the arrangement of the heating surfaces can be any. However, the arrangement of upright finned pipes through which the exhaust gases are passed and in which the air is passed around the pipes is advantageous. In order to be able to exert an influence on the inlet temperature of the exhaust gases in the recuperator, it is advantageous to introduce the combustion air at different altitudes. This can take place both below and above the entry of the exhaust gases into the post-combustion chamber or in the area in between. It is expedient to selectively put individual nozzles 5 or rows of nozzles into operation by using a corresponding switchover element 13. Since the need for such a possibility of variation depends on the operating conditions, in particular on the temperature in the recuperator, the switching element 13 can also be controlled automatically in a manner known per se as a function of the required temperature. A further influence on the furnace operation or the hot wind generation is also possible by controlling the exhaust-gas-side loading of individual or all recuperators 8 by actuating corresponding shut-off devices (not shown).
